I’m just on the other side of state line in Idaho! Driveway and all looks killer. Great job 👌🏼 I’ll keep you in mind when I need some paving work done on my property!
As a veteran roller driver of 60 years and tarmac finisher please don't take this the wrong way but your roller driver is rolling way too much at it when it's cold. Iv found tar that goes white is usually good material. 3passes is more than enough don't park roller on the cold tar keep up tight to paver don't drive on cold material turns it white. Regards from ireland
*we should definitely do a collaboration youtube video where u r doing asphalt and im doing the concrete, we help each other* u need a microphone when u r in the truck (just trying to help)
the yellowish surface colors and lines etc... are they going to be washed away in a few weeks? I had my driveway done recently and the color is still mixed as the last image shown above.... a week now, it is still the same. I would like to know they will be gone after some rain etc...
With some rain and time they should fade away. We tarp, clean our roller drums off and do anything we can to reduce the dirty look, but that is just the way paving works with driveways. A fresh sealer will cover any of those spots. Also we have noticed that in our area we have a lot of iron in the water which will corrode a wet drum after sitting for just minutes. This is where a lot of the dirty look comes from.
Its a constant battle. Any high roller traffic areas, also we have a lot of hard water around here. We tarp all our access points and wash our drums before hopping on the mat. If you have any suggestions please let us know.
@@apexasphaltpaving6163 cant do much more than laying tarp and washing the drums thats all we do, if you cant get access to clear water it is what it is ay. much love from australia. keep it up boys yeeww! 👌
@@ERA93 it happened to my home job. just cannot be clean enough. almost as much dirty/yellowish as the video show. Understand that it is not avoidable, but will it go away, sometime soon?
@@apexasphaltpaving6163 one or 2 passes with big roller then get lines out with smaller roller! Over rolling that’s why it’s going white, over rolling when the the tar has gone cold with 2 big of a roller, 1-2 passes with big roller only on the hot tar then 80 roller to get lines out one or 2 passes again

AMATEUR
Wayyyyy too much raking on the seam in the last few seconds. Gunna create segregation of the stones in the mat. Seams should never be raked…
Looks good but Yaul need more guys
I'd rather hear the truck than that music
