- On today's episode of the Off the Clock Show with hosts Shawn Gervais from OrbisX and Marshall Hill from hyperClean we had a great discussion about how to overcome failure, setup your mindset for the next level and whether or not you should be the most expensive shop in town and how to go about that if you decide to move in that direction for your detailing business.
The Just the Tip segment on the Off the Clock Show which is brought to you by OrbisX CRM for detailers and hyperClean car care products to help you succeed in your detailing business.
I love the focus on vision
Awesome comparison to the beer / individual hops. Got a recommendation for a new IPA to try? I am a dog fish head 90 minute guy - so not afraid of flavor
I will admit I initially phrased this very poorly. High quality is a much better way to say it / way to focus a brand.
Thanks man and ya you raised a very good question I think many wonder and even myself as we are bi-polar at our shop with two different sets of customers side by side in different bays lol. Your wording was actually perfect because I knew what you meant because I know you but other detailers focus too much on just price without realizing there is soo much more to it for a customer making a decision. How many times do we buy things we "can't afford" or "shouldn't buy" based on price. Happens every day and so people need to realilze the price matters less when the value is pouring out of every part of your business! Great stuff man, you gave us good inspiration for the discussion
I was once told that "My calling wasn't a conference call" - if you have a vision, it was given to you specifically and ignore the outside voices. Definitely have failed many times along the way, but i'll eventually accidentally invent the light bulb.
Gotta get the gold metal business cards - they don't serve as filters 😅
Lol - yes, NO dirty steering wheels 😂
haha it's a new movement, have to get some shirts made... #nodirtysteeringwheels
