Redrock Walkabout - Day 3

After a hard second day, I decided to sleep in a bit and then wander up a much easier side canyon on Day 3. While exploring a big sandstone alcove I discovered a pair of petroglyph spirals that made me reflect on the people that used to occupy this land long before European explorers arrived.

that overhang is amazing - im not a particularly religious man but when i see beauty that great i can only attribute it to a higher power, so beautiful. you were smart to continue your push yesterday in search of more water because you must have seen 10 pools at this point of varying quality. probably a smart move to call it a day early and enjoy your evening at camp!
