I considered your center point string idea genius! I am preparing my first igloo to my backyard, thought of making spiral. Forecasts seem promising as it will stay between -10F and 15F for the following two weeks. Keep up good work with your igloos and videos! Greetings from northern Finland!
I have a question about positioning of the igloo. Would you ever take into consideration pointing the entrance of the igloo downhill to let the cold air flow out and down and out? Or would this cause too much of a draft?
I think it took about 5 hours, but it was spread over 2 days. Filming slows the process down considerably because I have to be both the builder and the videographer.
