Considering it's been many years since we've seen Terry Mcginnis in DC animation, the amount of screen time he has is quite disappointing but at the same time, it's great to see him back. Hopefully this won't be the last time we see him
We need more Batman beyond and Will Back

That line “I’ll tell you what he wasn’t, alone.” Hits so much harder, and it is perfect that is his first line spoken.

Terry sounds more mature, more seasoned, he's likely in his forties now and it shows in the way Will portrays him.

Considering they glorified Batman's importance when he was just a bit-player in the original story... be glad he got those three lines. Totally took away from Psycho Pirate's character development

I'm currently reading Batman and Robin Vol 3 which I absolutely love. I've also watched Batman and Superman battle of the super sons which I also loved Damian in. I'm still catching up on some comics I'm reading and I will get to more Damian soon. I hope :)
I think my first time being exposed to Damian was the Dcamu universe. Since then I've been following Damian every now and then. I'm currently Loving the new run on Batman and Robin Vol 3. I love the father and son dynamic and I loved the scene with Bruce just looking threw Damian art work perfectl stuff right there :)

Their whole Crisis event up to now has been a letdown with the short buildup and two out of the three parts for what we've gotten so far. The Arrowverse version kicks this out of the park.

The writing is just as awful there as it is here, the only thing it really had going for it was the fact that it was live action and had Ezra Miller’s Flash at the end when people were still okay with Ezra Miller.
Crisis is too big for any given guest character to have much to do less when it isn't an uber mainstream one.
@@elin111 I don't need Terry to "do" a lot, but hearing his voice after all these years is pretty epic. Would have been great for just a few more sentences or some inkling as to how he ended up in the future especially since he played such a big part in the Justice League U Finale

Hopefully he has more lines in Part 3. I want to see him, Jensen's Batman, and Kevin Conroy's Batman interact with each other.

No truer words have been spoken in any continuity. Dick Greyson of the Flying Greysons, the holder of the mantle of Nightwing NEEDED to bring those who killed his parents to justice.
Dick Greyson is what Batman could be, if the mantle holder of Batman wasn’t broken.
Only those who are broken but still hold on to their humanity, like Bruce Wayne and Terry McGuinness are worthy of the mantle of Batman.
Dick is too sane, happy, and has the safety nets to prevent him from becoming Batman.

The fact that McGinnis is synergizing with Dick Grayson to fight Bruce kind of pays some kudos to 'Batman Beyond 2.0: Rewired', where DCAU Dick Grayson mentors and trains Terry after he has a falling out with Bruce while he's in college. It follows the DCAU continuity too which I feel is superior to the comics adaptation, but what are you gonna do lol.

Fascinating to see OG Batman in top form fighting Beyond Batman and actually putting him on the back foot despite the fact Beyond's suit actively empowers him, allowing for greater feats of strength and toughness than the real deal. Truly, skill is king in Batman.
It really is. Batman is used to punching above his weight limit as much as he is against equals and lessers.
Yeah..me personally, I thought that was some bull. Especially when Damien knocked him over. Terry should've looked a lot more robust in combat
@@theimage7030 Especially with his liberal use of wings and rocket boots from his own show. You don't evade Beyond Batman like OG did in that clip, he'd rocket boot your distance away and use dirty tactics. Like the smoke grenade he threw, original show Beyond wouldn't have aimed for the ground, he would aim for Batman's face.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Terry doesn't really have proper combat training, he's just really good at street fighting and using the suit. But I do think over the years with Bruce he eventually learned all the martial arts and stuff

i was so excited to see batman beyond in this movie with his original voice actor, as im a batman beyond fan myself. its just a bit disappointing that he hardly had any lines at all. maybe the 3rd movie he talks some more.

Yes Batman Beyond is back and played by his OG voice actor Will Friedle man wish he had more scenes it's been so long last I saw something new with Batman Beyond was with that 75th anniversary short wish the live action movie didn't get canceled. And damn Batman calling himself a fool I mean yeah a different version but still you get what I mean. Also love how Will tried making Terry sound more serious like he's pissed trying to get his own Batman voice down man if only Kevin Conroy was still with us maybe he could have played old Bruce again
