Not so long of a video! So many new features that are very exciting, the time goes by in a flash! As usual, your presentation is direct and to the point without rambling off into never-never-land. I don't make very complex drawing with Inkscape, and while you didn't ask, I wanted to say my favourite this time around is the 'Paste Style' option. This is so going to speed up my very repetitive processes so much. Thanks again for being such a brilliantly useful resource for those of us who are professionals or like me, just enjoy a really good tool that just keeps getting better!

Excellent. Thanks!! To the developers, please improve the rule. Remove those black letters that accompany it. Every time you measure, those letters are superimposed on the object. Is very annoying. It would be great if we could measure curves more agilely and quickly. Thank you.
Awesome tutorial love it , just a little suggestion if I may, it’s really challenging to follow or to locate the cursor on the screen , may be ajusting the size or Color of the cursor, would make it easier for beginner like me to follow your actions ….beside this amazing work that’s for sharing keep up the great job.

I'm on a Mac, there's a big issue : cloning an object with the caracteristics of the previous one does not work : the shortcut you gave just makes the Apple dock disappear/appear. So I can't use it ! To be more precise : the apple + T shorcut works ; the apple + alt + D doesn't... I'm talking about the feature you show at 22:10.
There's another thing that I noticed in this version: when you click on the object it shows its color in the color swatch. Sometimes I didn't know what shade of gray I selected... Now a dot appears on the color that was used.

I have tried uninstalling and the reinstalling the software but the problem remain same. Can anyone know what to do to fix it. Thank you
Ugh, they still haven’t fixed being unable to remove swatches. And it introduced a new bug for me; if I open Document Properies with multiple windows open, it will automatically constantly alt-tab between them
1.3 has broken the "Paste-in-place" functionality. It now applies a clip/matrix/transform to every pasted object, blowing out the file size of the SVG. I'm going back to 1.2.
Question - I installed 1.3, but I can't seem to figure out how to union text on script fonts, after I select object to path the overlapping letters leave gaps. I found a work around, but it's time consuming and I know there has to be a better way. Please let me know if I'm missing something.
To Davies Media Design I need your help please. I installed new Inkscape 1.3 and have problem when importing photos from my local file to the program. I followed what I used to do from old version 0.92, that was to embed first. But what I got was a photo with blank, no color and looked like there's nothing happened until I traced bitmap. Then I could see photo in "live preview", most function except in color. This meant the photo was right there but I couldn't see because there was no color. Could you please tell me what's wrong? Or do you think when importing photos, it must be "link" instead of "embed" and always use "Default Import Resolution" instead of "From File"? If it could be from other cause, please advise and educate me. Thank you very much in advance.
Im sorry to bother you with questions, but previuosly to this update when I converted Text to path every single letter was converted individually and grouped, now what it does is convert the whole text box into a single shape. Is there a way to revert that change? Thanks in advance!
easy cutting a form/picture as every program has since ages... is just not there... why???? Why i have to do a mask... ? this program is awesome for desktopPublishing but miles away from CorelDraw usability of 1994.

Paste Style, Paste in Place, Paste Size etc. have been part of Inkscape for ages.

I think it is great! I Do have a problem, how can I perspective warp a line of texts. Large on one end small on the other end.

symbols is much faster if you turn off text in ger icon

the bleed is not a bad idea, but kind of useless unless I can use that dimension when exporting png file.
Please, requesting information: is Inkscape 1.3 compatible with Mac OS 13 Ventura? Inkscape 1.2 was not compatible.
