These are great tips! And may I add, please remember basic manners. We recently moved from Washington state to Texas, and the difference in manners is remarkable, with Texans for the most part being super polite. Manners make you more polished, as well as showing respect for the other person
I am still in Washington State and, as I have always been interested in etiquette and becoming more elegant, I am choosing to educate and model good manners and etiquette to those around me. ❤
I used to think Europeans were thinner than Americans because they walked everywhere. Then I saw your video about holding the fork upside down in the left hand and realized I would be skinny if I had to eat that way. LOL Your suggestion to always drink out of a glass was something I'd never really thought about. My husband has a mustache and always needs a glass so that's just what we've always done. We were looking polished and didn't know it. As a former teacher, fighting gum was a daily battle. I'd ask kids whether they saw anchors on tv chewing gum and tell them that's what a professional looked like.
Love these tips! I just finished your book, and it was so insightful! I'm beginning to love etiquette and just told my mom recently thank you for teaching me good manners. I didn't appreciate it as much then, but now I'm trying to pass them on to my kids and grow better in them as well.
Hello Myka, Do you have tips on staying elegant at conventions, summits, and etc? Also how to network effectively at mass networking events? Have a nice day!
On the topic of ironing/steaming...is there any way that you know of to keep linen from wrinkling? I love wearing linen in the summer, but it seems like it instantly wrinkles, and then I feel frumpy!
Great tips! In the country where I live, chewing gum is only a health product. Dentists have been recommending it for decades after every meal because of the Xylitol. Fortunately, nowadays there are also Xylitol pastilles and you almost never see adults eating chewing gum. I didn't even know that chewing gum is eaten just for fun too (because it's not fun. 😅).
My mom told me bout that bottle drinking when I was a kid.... Hard to believe how many women drink from a bottle, bar, restaurant,, etc.. looks like crap ..
Just sharing this bc you said you didnt see the point of it: my daughter has terrible motion sickness. Even on car rides. So she chews gum. Sucking mint leaves an aftertaste
I’m noticing a new trend of teaching children to call adults by their first name, such as “Miss Sandy”. It is more respectful to call adults by their correct title and last name, like “Mrs. Smith”.
Please share your thoughts about the seemingly growing trend of party host requesting their guests to take off their shoes before entering the house/party? I personally think this is awkward and off-putting.
Does anyone else find that wearing red lippy can make your teeth look yellow? I know Mykia is a fan of a red lip. Looks like she has veneers though because her teeth are so white.

Thank you for the reminder on being practical about drinking from a bottle and buying a steamer. :-) Happy Weekend! :-)

Love that red top on you! Looks gorgeous! Could we please know where it is from? Thanks! ♥️
Great tips! I do not understand gum chewing either. I always keep a small tin of tiny, but strong, mints in my handbag and in my vehicle.
Great tip! ❤️

The only time I chew gum is on an airplane to help with equalising inner ears during altitude/pressure changes.

Use that steamer and linen wrinkles, I dont think there's any way out for that
Hi! I don’t see the steamer on your Amazon page. Help! Love your work, thank you!

When it comes do drinking out of the bottle, what if there is no cups or you do not want to create dishes😂. I love you!
How do you match the hair tie when you have red hair? Red hair ties are impossible to find. 😅
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good steamer?
I need to know more about the staying power of your lipstick! 😲😲💄
I’m wearing my own lipstick ‘Valentina’ you can find it at mykameier.com, it’s my super power 😉💕
Thank u ❤
Thank you for speaking up about gum. It's disgusting. The worst thing ever is when you can hear them smack it.
Thanks for sharing

Your hair bandana is very American. In the UK we wear black velvet hair bands always have. A. class thing!

Cracking gum! Is annoying. Looks terrible.
