They say 'never meet your heroes,' to which I say, "Never meet your heroes, unless your hero is Rodney Mullen. Always meet Rodney Mullen." He is one of the nicest, sincerest, and genuine, people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
I meet Rodney back in 87 I think.. he was doing a tour and was at Sears doing Rodney things…I was just magical watching him skate freestyle. Got my G&S shirt signed, not sure were that shirt went…

I can listen to Rodney speak all day. Such a bright light in this world. So much intelligence and the way he gets so excited telling stories. Such a legend!
Thanks for asking that because it made it into this podcast! It's awesome to be remembered like that. When Green Day first came out they played a tiny club downtown Vancouver called the Nappy Dugout. Held less than 200 people. My friend asked them to play a song but their set was over and they told him to go to a bigger club they were playing soon. My friend was underage so he said he couldn't go. The next time they came to town was after they blew up. Lollapalooza. Billy Joe looks at the crowd and says "This doesn't look like the Nappy Dugout", then proceeded to play my friend's request. Funny thing is he didn't hear that because he was outside the fence with another couple friends because they couldn't get tickets and were trying to find a quiet spot to jump the fence so I was the only person in the whole place who understood what he was talking about.

Rodney and Tony never cease to amaze with their comebacks and the riveting stories that go with it. Lots of great wisdom peppered with hilarity .
Great to hear Rodney is back and skating after all the procedures he went through.
A lot of people would have thrown in the towel. This was a riveting informative and fun podcast.
It’s like the return of the king. Can’t wait for Rodney and Tony Ted type talks and hopefully some skating to go with it in April in Texas, I want to be watching even if I can’t be there in person.
The most beautiful person to ever walk this planet, even his happiness makes me 😢

the world needs a collection of Rodney Mullen Night skating dramas
Skateboarding legends digging through memories and having fun the entire episode...
A proof that skateboarding is not a sport nor lifestyle but state of mind.
Thanks guys for bringing modern skateboarding to us and for staying true to who you are. This episode was a joy to watch and one of the best videos about skateboarding I've seen recently.
It's truly awesome to hear that Mullen can skate again :')
This is all i ever wanted from this podcast. Everything else was just icing
You got the G.O.A.T. Vert skater interviewing the G.O.A.T. street skater... I'M IN !! I Absolutely LOVE Rodney Mullen !! He's the Best !!
And Jason Jesse Lee Dill Park Ellis.
Man, I could listen to Rodney talk all day, he’s so passionate about skating in every aspect. Just the way he gets so excited.

Thank you Hawk vs Wolf for having the Legendary Rodney Mullen back on! I can’t get enough
Rodney has been my favorite skater since I discovered skating and now he’s one of my favorite people. So glad I found this pod!
I live in Rodney's home town and I gotta say, he's left an impact. The skate culture here is so great and his first ever sponseres is the local skateshop for most of us here. It's crazy to think about my proximity to such a huge legend. Much love Tony And Wolf ❤
The story at the end where he can skate again got me so stoked and was moving. Thanks for sharing your story, life, and skateboarding with the world Rodney!
Man Rodney is the best watching him and Tony reminisce and Jason just geeking out awesome
Thank You for this episode
Rodney is Legend. Please put this man on the show more often. Y'all are also legends and there's no discrediting that. Good God Look what you gentleman have created and the lives you have impacted. I don't even skate, I've always been terrible but this podcast is inspiring me to get a board and teach myself to ride at 24 years old! Love y'all. Rodney Everytime you speak I genuinely am transfixed. Love your person and your soul.
I have to say, I was totally unaware of this youtube channel. I fell asleep watching videos and this was on when I woke up... BRILLIANT! What a great video. You have to admire Rodney Mullen's passion and honesty, and such a great sense of love, respect and fun between the three of you. Fantastic watch... Liked... Subscribed 🤙
33:44 😂 Tony and Rodney laughing at the fire joke together like that really shows that entire point.
Another absolutely brillant episode. From basic physics to Jason helplessly entering complete amazed kid mode. Pure gold. Love you guys!
I could listen to Rodney talk about anything forever. Gotta get Andy Anderson and Rodney together on the podcast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going in for a hip replacement next month so I listened to this very intently!
You should look into hip resurfacing
My hips are a bit past this!@@erino5528
The stories, those legendary stories. God I've missed hearing about them.
Also, Rodney being on the mend is the greatest thing to happen. Man deserves every bit of it and more.
When Rodney talked about doing a kickflip after the surgery Tony's reaction was all of us! So stoked to know he is back doing what he loves
Rodney might be one of the purest souls ever. Thank you Tony for getting your amazing friend to speak to us.
Tomorrow marks my 1 year hip replacement and it's bombproof. Just waking up and not being in pain is the best thing ever!
I could listen to Rodney talk about skating for hours, his passion and emotion come across so strong in everything he said.
I never feel more spiritually healed than i do when i see a new video with Rodney
Rodney is a skateboarding sensei. Dude has the best attitude and deserves his flowers completely.
THIS WAS SO GOOD. I laughed and then nearly cried when I saw Rodney sound so excited to skate again and Jason smiling so big at him knowing what it feels like to hit tricks again ❤️ this was sick
I’m not a skater. I’m not even sure how this ended up in my feed. I vaguely know who Tony Hawk is in name only. But I am riveted. Rodney Mullen may be my new favourite human.
Holy shit! Thanks guys so much, I still listen to Rodney’s last episode whenever I’m having a shitty day and it always helps. Can’t wait to see this one!
❤️
God, laughing, crying, being proud of being a human. Just another interview with Rodney here. Thank you so much guys!! All three of course :-)
woke up on this rainy California Monday and this arrived on my feed - excellent company, much appreciated

Always love every episode, but this is by far the best one yet. All the respect between them and the pure joy. Made me smile the whole time.
