Having a accurate damage report would be nice after raid too. Instead of seeing overall damage dealt, we can see how much damage we dealt to who and when
@@papiijujuu get a working pc. Besides those extra few zero's and one's won't be a big deal. Also, everything's already being registered, all I want is for them to lay it all out. ALL of it.
There is a big difference between being Difficult VS being Tedious. There is also a big difference between Natural Difficulty and Artificial Difficulty. If you think a game being Difficult is somehow what turns off the majority of players, than you're a fool who never looked at the success of Difficult games like Elden Ring. The problem is that Tarkov tends to be more Tedious than Difficult, and much of its "difficulty" comes from Artificial Difficulty rather than Natural Difficulty.
Thank you bro I been here since day one I've played every single wipe and the hard-core side is completely gone idc what nikita says this game is insanely easy now when I can get light keeper in the first week it's bad that's ridiculous even tho they made it easier for new players they made it WAY TO EASY for OG players now they have kappa in the first week and shit it's just retarded when do the good players get to actually enjoy a wipe... my wipe is over two weeks in because I've already done everything....
I really hope that making the game "NOT EASIER" doesn't just mean more of the same boring and tedious kind of quests that require you to kill 15 people with a Paca standing on your head and chewing on sausage Judging by the latest quest content the added to the game it is just more of the same mark this fetch that.. which is just too much at this point. adding more of the same kind of quests while only changing the type of items you need to bring or the locations you need to go to really doesn't make the game better.. pretty sure the storyline quests are going to be the same type of quests with just more items to bring or more markers to place
The amount of times my friend and I have both been like "WHY do I have to mark ANOTHER series of things, and/or go STAND NEXT to something. How many "kill __ scavs" do I have to do for peace keeper? when you FIRST start playing it feels unique sure but now Im on wipe like 7 and Ive gotten to the point where I just dont even do certain quests and just consider myself done after a certain amount of unlocks. I understand more quests adds to replayablity but you GOTTA make it more unique. Spawn a special scav wearing a unique hat or armband that I have to kill with a special item slot for a quest item. Or make me call a flare to call down a special quest drop. Shit even a quest involving using voip or teaming with a scav or another player like cmon
vacuum may not be happening, but i am ABSOLUTELY constantly opening 2mil+ rouble keys only to find a veritas guitar pick inside with maybe a bobblehead somewhere in the corner. Im talking about streets marked rooms, chek 15, etc. Cheating is still the ever stinking dogshit in the middle of the carpet that is tarkov.
@@axelm1624 supposedly they did, but once in a blue moon I open one of those rooms and get a keycard or a case. It’s just that it’s totally disproportionate. Either there’s good loot there all the time and it’s straight up stolen (and I’ve seen people camp chek13 with the door locked so obviously there’s cheats to get inside bypassing the door) or I am for real getting disproportionately bad loot 99/100 times but the 1 time it’s completely bonkers? Doesn’t seem statistically probable
I just recently bought a pc and started playing tarkov...I suck at most aspects of the game but yet it keeps me intrigued. Every death sucks when I bring in loot but the kills and successful raids make it all worth it. The learning curve is sharp but I'm enjoying it
The fact that this game lookes so good on Unity's old URP is crazy as is, but them finally getting HDRP will be insane! so many lighting improvements, it's basically bridging a 10 years gap since they first started with modern features. Hope the migration to the newer versions goes well, with a project like Tarkov I cant even imagine the work that goes into making that move
Also... the map to map travel.... they really need to make that be "part" of the game because if it's going to be the same as it is now... I don't see a purpose to it tbh. If they keep it as something optional, as they say they do, when you extract you can either go to another map or back to your hideout, who in their right minds wouldn't always choose hideout? Maybe for the memes or for a youtube challenge video, but in rest, nobody is going to use that feature if they are not forced to, because going to stash is always the more convenient choice... Why would you go map to map travel? This means taking more gear, thus, risking more money, slowing your progress, taking water n stuff, NOT LOOTING as much because you need to keep stuff for your next raid, like why would anybody choose this? Are they going to just put a XP modifier on it and call it a day? That's nothing... IMO the above problems indicate to me strongly that they should make this a completely separate mode, tie it maybe with the hardcore features, and have separate queues and servers! Only then it makes sense, like if players can't always choose to go to hideout, they can only do so from certain maps, and for the rest, they need to travel to next map, another raid, then extract, because if not, nobody is going to engage with this feature, like, it doesn't have a place in the game, it's just optional, that's how I see it at least. Have the map to map travel system not let you always travel to your stash, and give players the freedom to be able to choose to play with this different ruleset, but have it for everyone involved... Or just make it the default mode in the game.. spice things up. You reach end-game, or you complete all maps at least once, then you can choose and extract from any map, like we have now. Dunno, do something different, combine things.
This, i guess so many of their plans have shifted and they're in such a hurry that they don't even think what some features actually do and what effect they actually have... Map to Map travel as it is, is a check box. We have it, you can do it. Why would you do it? We don't know, but it was on the list of planned features.
@@1DanteadamS1 Yeah.. true. My hope is that Nikita moves on after 1.0, someone else will be head of tarkov dev, and hopefully that someone else has more perspective and ideas on how to fix the game and we have tarkov 2.0 after 1-2 years of post release, where they go back and rethink and redo most features, unifying stuff together, like they could do with this map to map travel thing.
Similar to what Nikita mentioned in there somewhere about PvE being the ideal fictional tarkov experience due to networking issues and cheaters. Not ideal but at least it's something very close.
@@NoiceGuy That makes sense. I'm about to get into SP Tarkov, after seeing a lot of guys play it and it receive such high praise. KLEAN really sold me on it. The realism and immersion is absolutely fantastic with all the mods in it. I can't wait till we can have a "legit" modded PVE tarkov from BSG.
I played pve a few months ago all pmcs on shoreline literally chilled in front of resort by the helicopter killed them all every raid with a good angle no risk at all. did they fix the pmcs? it was kinda stupid on every other map as well they just chilled in one spot I got bored when i hit level 26 idk how it's feeling now
I think we can kinda guess where in game traders will be based on their quests, like Prapor has a lot of customs tasks, Peacekeeper with Shoreline, Ragman with Interchange, Jaeger with woods
I'm surprised they don't just implement KO state as being "knocked" whenever you would go down from gross HP loss. So, when you're legged or armmed down rather than taking an explicit torso or headshot.
Ive always been curious about a more personal/artist perspective interview with Nikita and the team. How has their perspective on game design shifted the last almost ten years? What woukd they have done differently? What do they feel they lost or gained with the massive increase in team size and scope? Has the growing appeal of tarkov suprised them? Do they think they explored everythint in this genre they wanted to with this game, or do they feel they have more to try with another title in the space? Given infinite resources to experiment, where would they want to push boundaries? Stuff thatcreally examines their artistic intentions would be super interesting
They could simply work together with Solarint, creator of the SAIN AI mod in SPT. Its insane how much better the bots are there. FLanking, suppressing, pushing, working together... They should hurry tho. Since the guy was a huge stalker modder and we all know which game is coming out in 2 months.
I don't usually do this but as I am a developer in my professional life I might have a little insight into this. There are a number of things that might go into this besides the ego of those involved. The most obvious one to me would be how compatible this guys code is with the rest of the engine, by that i mean how much else has SPT and this guy changed the wider engine to accommodate his AI code. Integrating somebody else's code into a wider project can be difficult as you don't really know what effect it will have until after you do it (and then you have to figure out what you have to do to fix those issues, which will cause more knock on effects) and all of this assumes that you understand this guys code. Another related issue is that Solarint's code might work perfectly fine with a single player, but move that into a server architecture, with multiple active players on remote machines and running the AI for all bots and keeping everything synced properly with all players machines might have its own issues, and again you wouldn't know until you try it and did extensive testing.
@@lundquist42 Thanks for the insight! I know its not easy. Thats why i think working together would be necessary instead of simply taking his code. Overall all guys working on the SPT and main modders are smart as fuck. Its one thing to mod a modder friendly game like Skyrim. But doing that with an online game not meant for modding like tarkov takes insane skill. Some even made it possible to play SPT coop (project FIKA). Some made a working replay like system. I think working together would help the game a lot but that would be complicated because of the remote aspect and russian ego like the other guy mentioned.
It's funny that you sorta mentioned a bit about possible a top down replay in place of like a true spectator replay system but that reminded me of a certain mod for a certain single player experience of tarkov (idk how taboo it is to bring it up here). The mod quite literally just plays a replay of the raid from a top down map view and lets you see all player/bot movements from a raid, and I think even if they cant implement a true replay/kill cam system this would at least be super great to have in general! (mod is called raid review if you would like to look it up) Looking forward to what they can do!
For the Unheard edition giveaway. Disclose it's for 1 MAYBE for 2. Pick a winner and try to give them the one that might have been taken. If it works then you can give out another, if not just give them the other one that is guaranteed to work.
Bring back plate hitbox gaps Finally, gunfights and ammo felt realistic, and then they ruined I stopped playing and wont come back until gaps in armor exist
The side effects of a trail feature would be that we as a community can put together heat maps for certain maps so that there is data behind hot zones and seeing the best way to move from a bad spawn so you don’t get packed up 1 minute into raid
@@Exotic-_ Ye im sure its a redut-M not Killa. Look at the groin part, its longer for redut like in the picture, killa is shorter. Also the guy wears an armband.
I literally saw that exact screen shot a few months back in some Russian tarkov community. As far as I know, its just a screenshot of PMC with Killa-esque loadout
What if they did a Runescape esque Ironman/group iron man mode where flea never opens for the mode, and you have to source everything from hideout/traders in game. Or trade between your group
@NoiceGuy it would be amazing if you could ask nikita to stream pvp tarkov for 8hr 1 day.....would be very interesting to see how he plays his own game? don't think we've ever seen anything like that?
you never will. Sometimes you will see Damirka playing, and he's completely dog shit. To the point I'm 100% sure they just play from time to time and they use their dev tools to give whatever to their account. If devs in general really played their own game, CEO included, they would solve WAAAAY more problems WAAAAY earlier. But since none of them does, they end up having a mediocre product, where with every single patch they manage to break something, or they have cheaters duping or vacuuming stuff. And as much as NoiceGuy is doing his job, just don't trust whatever comes from Nikita or BSG in general: It made me laugh when they said, in regards of cheating, that it's war where they sometimes lose ground, sometimes they gain some. I would genuinely like to know WHEN, in the last 7 years, they really think they won a battle against cheaters. When they're the first cooperating with them, otherwise nowhere in this world they would bave been able to sell almost a mil copies in between '23 and '24.
Tarkov is perfect the way it is now. The only thing I want is for them to drastically tone down ambient noise. Maybe that’s why the audio feels bad. My favorite thing is the economy. Almost every item in the game has some sort of value making it viable to sell in the flea with minor exceptions like double A batteries. They should focus on refining the gunplay through arena and focus on optimizing EFT performance issues
I love this game. I've been playing it since 2017. I have thousands of hours put inside of it. Hell, I even got my girlfriend to play the game with me - and we've bonded over it for years now. But my desire to play continues to wane. I come back every single wipe, smash into the game and grind for a few weeks - then stop. There are a lot of issues, of course. We all know the standard bits. But personally - I think the biggest problem by far - is lack of quest reworks. I think Tarkov would benefit VASTLY from changing all of the quests entirely. Imagine, next wipe, having zero of the same quests and having an entirely new experience to roam through. Nobody knows where anything is. Staring at the wiki is useless. The entire community would come together to solve stuff - where to get x or y to complete this new ragman quest! The standard grind has just become monotonous. This wipe being the fastest ever - I hit level 40 in the first month due to arena's XP inclusion. I have unlimited money already, I'm grinding towards lightkeeper tasks again because I have max traders and have no reason to do more base trader tasks... I just want a new experience. I dunno. Tell me if that'd be stupid.
I wouldnt say "just throw the quests and start over" helps as a suggestion, but there definitely is truth to it: Tarkov has devolved from a "tactical game with survival mmo elements" into a grindfest of shitty "quests" and looting mechanics (hideout) that have nothing to do with actual gameplay. To the point where people play "flip the market" simulator instead of actually playing the game. Its surreal.
Unfortunately it sounds like you have mastered the game and there's really not much they can do to enhance it on your end without making it either too difficult or too laborious for other people especially new people
@@Charlie-j6t8v I don't think changing tasks entirely would hurt new players at all. It'd probably help them because all the veterans would level slower.
I think having really op high end gear only purchasable through the in-game traders allows them to add more weapons and balance accessibility with a cool function of needing to meet the traders and extract alive with your newly purchased items, also allows some pvp scenarios to arise.
I cannot wait for the killcam / raid review its literally the first thing they shouldve done, you can learn from your mistakes, learn spots players go to, learn where they loot, everything
@@NoiceGuy a security risk ? How so ? I’d think you’d just keep recording the whole match, send it to players add like a function that wouldn’t allow to re-record and then delete the file after like 30 minutes kinda like Netflix
You know what would be really cool? If for the first 5-10 raids, we don't have the "go to hideout" option but instead we are forced to go map to map travel, marathon style, then we do a quest or we reach a certain location/map, and we "find" the hideout, we unlock it and only then we can use it! Dunno how this would work for ground zero or what they can do with it... but story-wise it would make a looot of sense, shit hit the fan, no comms no command no nothing, we are all a bunch of PMCs lost inside this zone, without a clue where to go, what to do, and that feature would emulate this feeling very well, we scrounge about, we team up, we plead for our lives, command just left us, and then we go to woods and find a huge bunker system under the mountaints or something and we make that our hideout! Honestly its brilliant.
This is my second wipe, my first day 1 wipe. The difficulty to me is the prestige of Tarkov. I really love the difficulty and the "grind". Several of my friends have bailed on the game, but I accept the grind for what it is. If BSG can add the Killcam this would clarify the opacity between cheating vs skill. I am shit at Tarkov, so I am OK with dying, but it would be amazing for my peace of mind to confirm a player is just skilled vs a dirty cheater. Yesterday for example, 1.5 minutes into a raid, a player 300m away one tapped me in the head while I'm briefly visible to him as I pass by a door.
I wish the ttk wasn't so unreasonable. Like it genuinely makes the game a lot less fun for me because I just wanna be able to use non-meta guns for the sake of variety.
Where did you see the thermal image of Killa/Not Killa? I had a dive into Nikita and Tarkovs social media accounts and can't seem to find it, and I stay up to date with the game still so I am surprised I didn't see it when it popped up.
So the Overrun mode on arena is PvPvE now? Isn't that just regular tarkov PvP with waves of scavs spawning like we have now in raids? Originally it was pitched as fighting waves of enemies cooperatively almost like zombies or something.I was looking forward to trying it but it seems BSG cares the least about it.
The only change to recoil that would be great would be splitting vertical an horizontal recoil on attachments so there are pros and cons rather than you run the se5 as soon as it’s available
"As long as you are not expecting Call of Duty" Meanwhile gameplay in the background is sprinting around, full auto, mag dumping enemies. Yeah, real "realistic" and "Tactical" gameplay we got here.
never will happen, too many people get to end game within 2 weeks. They'd need to multiply their current quest count by like 10x atleast and even then it may not be enough. The gameplay cycle without quests and progression isn't interesting enough to keep people playing
Sorry I haven’t been following as much… so is there still going to be persistent and wiping servers? Or is it all persistent with prestige being an option?
My main question is that will finished the game continue to “wipe?” I see the benefit but I also like the idea of experiencing end game stuff that casual players never get to see.
They've already 'removed/revoked' some things within Unheard, like the amount of time our insurance stays. Same for EOD, the starter guns etc used to be 'better/more' compared to now.
For the average joe this wipe has been great for how fast it is moving. ive been in the camp of it should be slower but now that I have a different job and its shift work i don't have time to have a second full time job lol
Now I understand why all the sudden every arena match I’m in has over 100 ping and I can’t win a gunfight unless I’m pre-firing. It’s been miserable to play arena lately.
Tbh the way they are going at PvP and PvE is fair, if they allow mod support, there is no point to add diffrent playstyles of PvE since you can mod it, so it just saves the manpower for more important things. One thing i think is a must have in PvE is multiple PMCs you can play as, similar to how they described it in PvP, so for example i can have a CO-OP save with my friend with one set of mods, and another solo with more hardcore mods.
i played arena a couple days ago and I was winning fights I usually would've never won. It felt like I had more time to react. Netcode fix must be working
@@windosxp7 Same, nothing feels different in Arena in regards to desync. I still die before I even see the tip of someone's elbow coming around the corner but according to the kill came they already swung out, put up a chain, had a sandwhich, solved wold hunger, and then aimed and shot at me.
What im most excited for is the HDRP implementation. Really curious and excited to see how the game will look and perform after. Have been dying to get a sneak peek or something the past year. Maybe when they do another TarkovTV...
This is my first wipe in tarkov, and this game is my new addiction. I've been addicted to Ark, I've been addicted to Destiny, so I'm absolutely no stranger to immense grinding. Someone who has a full time job, a family, etc, simply should not be surprised that they can not compete with people who have 12 hours a day to play. That's the point of getting good at a game. I love how difficult this game is, but at the end of the day it is not good for the game when people can't tell if they're losing to a good player, or a cheater. They honestly should just talk to epic games and get some tips from them for anti cheat. I used to be a fortnite addict. 4000 hours easily. I NEVER faced a cheater in that game. Not once. However with only 250 hours this wipe in tarkov, I have had so many instances where I genuinely felt that I was targeted by a cheater for my loot, or just because they want to get some kills. I have yet to enter labs, because everyone tells me you are more likely to face a cheater than not. It is extremely discouraging, and cheating is just... not that hard to combat. First, scav and raider kills shouldn't contribute to your K/D. Only PMC's. Now, simply ban anyone who reaches a certain K/D threshold. To combat those who cheat and eliminate themselves to maintain a realistic K/D, simply use AI to analyze how often a player dies to another player, and if it is NEVER, then ban them. If you only die to your own nades, environment, fall damage, and scavs, BAN THEM. It's a pretty simple order of "Ban people for doing things that cheaters do, and if there's a way around it, ban people who do that." Don't even get me started on the endless possibilities of using AI for anti-cheat. With easily over 20,000 hours in gaming, this game and CSGO are the only games I've seen blatant cheaters, and it just doesn't happen in CSGO ranked anymore. Why do we not have a mode in Tarkov that only allows verified and trusted non-cheaters? Give us a game mode that requires a few hundred hours to access, so that we can have a place that doesn't allow brand new accounts to run around with 20+ K/Ds. Anyways, my point is, catching cheaters isn't hard. The community does it all the time with very little information, why can't BSG do it when they have access to ALL of EVERYONE's in-game information?
I’ve been having more netcode issues in Arena since wipe than I have ever had in EFT, and I’ve been playing since Interchange released. Everyone in my games was having the same issues to. I was hoping it was just server issues due to the free weekend, but if this their new netcode at play they need to scrap it.
We had demo recording all way back in Half-Life (maybe even older games), and they say killcam is dificult thing? Just store all traffic in file and recreate simulation with that exact traffic
i'm super excited for the killcam, i've always wanted to be able to see a heatmap-style thing of how players move through maps my only concern is that typically when games have server-side data like this, its more accessible to cheaters. but i guess it can't get much worse, right?
You didn't go over it so I want to mention it... I definitely liked the original armor change. I would like the original armor change back. It made it harder to run around like "Call of Duty" and made gun fights feel less "tanky". It also makes more since for "realism". Another thing I've noticed is either the game isn't registering my hits in the death banner or bullets that hit are not registering in the game or server. I've noticed this on Arena more than the base game however there were a few gunfights in the base game where I suspected this was happing there too. To clear up the B.S. I watched the round impact and there was blood to prove the shot hit on my end. Would like to know if this is a known issue or am I the only one who notices.
Here's a question for nikita: can they fix/code-in something to stop radar users/not be able to see enemies on the radar (like how you said they fixed the net code to not let them see your rank, etc now)? some of the top arena players are suspected of running radar but hard to ban them for since it's usually on a secondary pc/using DMA. Improvements for Arena: With MP limitations now, for the style of game arena is, there should not be any JAMS/ MALFUNCTIONS whatsoever. In regards to MP points and classes: the classes are set as scouts have good ammo but lighter armor, marksmans have, great ammo, but weakest armor, enforcer is suppose to be the STRONGEST armor but weaker ammo, and assault is a blend of good armor and decent ammo. what if they made it so all classes have access to everything but gave mp discounts on stuff meant for them and higher mp costs on stuff not meant for them. for example scout gets discounted ammo but certain armors are more expensive (helmet, higher than level 3) and/or higher mp costs for pimping out your weapon more, enforcer gets discounted armor but more expensive better ammo (so if they wanted to run an m4 with 55a1 they either have to go with lower armor or can only have 10 bullets of 55a1 with higher armor and 2 extra mags of shitty ammo), assault gets discounted mp for pimping out guns and/ore 2nd or 3rd best and below ammo/2nd or 3rd best armor and below but higher mp on stuff above those grades.
Not going to lie, I enjoyed the free weekend of Arena a ton. Going to buy it on payday for sure. I should have given arena a chance awhile ago, it's also a great way to get better at PVP quicky. You can have multiple firefights every 15 minutes vs the average PVP firefight (either you die in the 1st one or you get lucky to win them and extract). Arena is a great way to supplement some Tarkov training in regard to gunfights specifically.
So with prestige mode coming eventually does that mean they will quit wiping the game? Biggest reason i play PVE from time to time is because i dont have the time outside of work and IRL bs to do everything in the wipe timeframe
KO state being possibly cut is really disappointing to hear. I hope they revisit it along with those melee takedowns they showed off in one of the first trailers.
i have been beging for a post game summery where we can see a trail of where we were and where the enemies were. i would love to make a spreadsheet to learn where all the major choke points are and weak spots
The progression is not too fast. I get 25 scavs attacking me every raid. I was getting between 6 to 10K points per raid because of so many Scavs. When I first started playing on wipe 12.12 it was rare to get 8 scavs in a raid.
why? you are not restrained by anything or anyone in pve, if you want to set hardcore rules on yourself, go for it. the issue with hardcore in pvp is that everyone else is playing on easy mode in comparison. this wipe especially, I'm playing hardcore and by week 3 of the wipe it felt like everyone else has everything they can want, while I'm struggling for ammo and mags.
@Karol-cj9fy There is an obvious difference between enforcing rules on yourself and having a game mode that does it and then rewards you for it. I.E. more xp etc. It creates a reward structure. It's so obvious. Why would you even be against this? What is the point of your comment?
@Karol-cj9fy I strongly disagree. PvE does need it because the mode is currwntly too easy. A hardcore mode could provide players with an option for it to be more difficult while providing a reward structure so that it doesn't feel pointless while not making the mode more difficult, overall, for those who enjoy it the way it is. Again, this is such an obvious concept. It makes no sense to even provide a counterargument to this. There are zero good reasons to provide any pushback against what I'm saying other than just being obtuse. It's silly to advocate for a situation in which someone makes an effort to make the game more difficult for themselves rather than a more difficult mode being included as an option. Like wtf? And to be clear, you're not the first person to make this argument. It just makes absolutely no sense.
@@NoiceGuy I agree, I’ve lived in this building, I love my room, I’m just tired of the sinkhole in the bathroom 😂 I played arena after the patch and assumed it was for the shooting range, I may have had 1 match which packet loss was not indicated, multiple matches were unplayable with multiple disconnects and the matches we were able to play felt very desync ish. I know my experience is not the whole picture and I understand it’s new and I’m sure there are bugs but damn I was salty when you said that’s what they had been working on for 2 years.
I’m new to tarkov maybe a week new and currently enjoy the way of progression but i do agree it’s fast cause i got arena as well but would not mind a slower progress specifically if they add prestige mode comes. I see why a lot of games try to copy Tarkov it’s just a one of a kind game cheers to the developers for trying to make the game even better. (Haven’t run to any cheaters yet btw)
I read the title for "Kill cam", I clicked for "netcode done". What the FUCK does that mean lmao I still shoot people in the head in arena and dont actually hit them at all so it cant possibly mean theyre happy with it
That's been my experience as well. I don't feel like this new netcode is good, or there's other issues with armor hit boxes, or something else going on.
The armor re-reworks drove me away from Tarkov thoroughly. I absolutely detest the feeling of grinding for gear, only to lose to a guy who has been playing for 5x my playtime wearing armor that I CANNOT ever hope to penn. When there were gaps in the armor and the plates were realistically sized, that was unironically the BEST time I’ve had in tarkov in 7 years. Gunfights were quick, people played slower, and I was rewarded for positioning and strategy. For 3 months, tarkov was near perfect. But the hardcore player base and streamer outrage caused them to pendulum so far in the other direction, the game became literally unplayable to maintain any semblance of sanity. It pisses me if so much that I can’t even enjoy the game I sunk 4000 hours into anymore when there’s nothing else like it on the market to fill that void.
I love tarkov, sure some things are bullshit like the hackers and the unheard edition stuff, but as a casual player I love the fact that tarkov will never stop being unforgiving and that’s why I keep coming back, if they changed it it would take away the charm, despite its flaws i still love it because of them
Recoil needs to stay where it's at. It's good right now, it doesn't need to change. They will fuck it up once again guaranteed. Please Nolan, do what you can to persuade them to refrain from further drastic changes.
If the arena netcode is the latest greatest then that's sad news. I've had blood spray and aim punch caused by me and the replay showing 0 hits on several kills since patch. Sad
Give the code away that you know works and roll the dice on your account for the other one. If it works gratz you have the UE, if not oh well. If you end up getting it and not wanting it just delete your UE items at wipe and set your tag to the EOD tag instead of the UE tag.
I kinda wish their is a way to help people with hearing problems in this game. I play tarkov a lot and my main issue is that I struggle to hear things like foorsteps and important noise ques. It might just be me but it feels like the background or environment noises are louder then the actual noises like enemy footsteps and them stepping on glass. Don't get me wrong when indoors I can hear them step on metal and more. It just might be me idk
Wait, the netcode in Arena rn is supposed to be the better and improved netcode? Brother in Christ, Arena's hit registration and desync is _worse_ than EFT's!
By some miracle I hope they find a way to ban and limit the amount of hackers in this game. It’s too much times I’ve died to a person with 50 hours lvl 35 with raid bag. Dying at least 3-5 times a day to them depending on the map.
oh for jimmydeansausagebiscuit's sake - will you STOP with the misleading and completely WRONG sentiment that unheard edition is PTW!? IT IS NOT. It is literally nothing more than a few items, few more lines of stash space, 6 total pocket spaces instead of 4, and slightly higher starting rep, all of which have ZERO impact on anything in the game except speed of progression and even then only marginally. Everything you get in unheard is attainable by a basic account with a little bit of time and a few more quests, except for the unheard transmitter thing, which is completely worthless and does NOTHING except keep you from getting shot at by sniper scavs 300 meters away. every other scav still insta aggros and beams you.
Sounds great. I play a lot of PVE now, so it'd be nice if the A.I. wasn't either sniping through bushes from 100 meters, or stuck standing in a corner oblivious. There's literally like a 50/50 chance you'll die instantly, or feel like your picking on little kids.
Haven't watched in full but saw a kind of transcript... so uncon status, destruction, open world, all have been cut? I'm guessing RPG's and actually fighting BTR's will only be in the story mode (which is probably local SP only so that they won't have to work on netcode), same with radiation and chemical poisoning, will be a campaign gimmick (could've guessed when they said radiation would be permadeath... it's probably only gonna appear at the finale, isn't it?). Not even mentioning batteries and suppressor durability. Honestly even PMC karma is a shadow of what it could've been, and i'm not saying it should've punished fighting the same faction, tarkov isn't structured properly for that (imagine getting into a raid with 10 bears while being usec and they all cooperate against you). And whole hunting squads were replaced with weird Jager copy and the whole thing is a gimmick and barely affects the game... but i guess with the way AI works they couldn't do it. They should've put the effort into uncon status imo. Also what about radios? Went the same way? Honestly i don't even care about some of the destruction that much (but it really could've been added without much physics like glass destruction, like a change of state and objects disappearing), but new factory for example even has environment that doesn't react at all, like the glowing PC in the 3rd floor offices doesn't stop glowing when you shoot it, in 2024 in a shooter.
Honestly, overall, though i might sound too negative (i am), but at least i can appreciate that they tried and managed to do what they did, tarkov clones have come close, but still none really toppled it.
I might have been able to find better words for this but I hope the sentiment is clear; that jaded tone of voice is gone in this video, and I’m here for it. 🤘

im a casual player, and this needs to be a hardcore game. A game shouldn't change itself because too many people cant handle a tough experience.
Everyone wants to be the main character. But I'm with you
There is a big difference between being Difficult VS being Tedious.

@@jonathanoriley8260yeah that is hardcore. You have tasks that you can loose an hour of progress just because you die. We don't want tasks like COD.
I really hope that making the game "NOT EASIER" doesn't just mean more of the same boring and tedious kind of quests that require you to kill 15 people with a Paca standing on your head and chewing on sausage
Judging by the latest quest content the added to the game it is just more of the same mark this fetch that.. which is just too much at this point. adding more of the same kind of quests while only changing the type of items you need to bring or the locations you need to go to really doesn't make the game better..
pretty sure the storyline quests are going to be the same type of quests with just more items to bring or more markers to place
Exactly. Its not fun anymore, its tedious.
We need more GAMEPLAY and less "quests hideouts and modes".

Doesn’t seem statistically probable
@@immetalisgood4u how do you know the good loot was there if it was stolen? LMAOOOO
they turned the loot tables down relax kiddos
Personally, I'm done playing pvp until the net code is fixed. Pve is fun, challenging, and doesn't have cheaters. Big fan of the pve.
Similar to what Nikita mentioned in there somewhere about PvE being the ideal fictional tarkov experience due to networking issues and cheaters. Not ideal but at least it's something very close.
With how pinpoint accurate AI PMCs are, I might as well be playing against cheaters. The only thing killing pvp for me is the the audio.
I played pve a few months ago all pmcs on shoreline literally chilled in front of resort by the helicopter killed them all every raid with a good angle no risk at all. did they fix the pmcs? it was kinda stupid on every other map as well they just chilled in one spot I got bored when i hit level 26 idk how it's feeling now
Just say you’re bad at the game 😂 imagine having fun playing against bots 😂😂
hard-core options gonna make me fall in love this game all over again.
14:18 Can’t believe I had any hope that BSG would suddenly start making good quests for the main storyline.
If i got shot in the leg/arm by a scav which literally happens every single raid I'd quit the game. That is braindead
Since the guy was a huge stalker modder and we all know which game is coming out in 2 months.
you obviously don't understand developers. a lot of these dudes got an ego mile high and these guys are Russian too will be even worse.
don't worry, they're busy unpacking the mod to.. "take inspiration"
They dont want to make scavs harder, why would i want to fight 5 AIs as good as PMCS then have to deal with actual pmcs?

@@Joe-kl4vu But when the company makes a product you think the CEO would atleast use the product for insight into his successful company??
I dunno. Tell me if that'd be stupid.
no mater how long playing real gamer never girfleind simp
I wouldnt say "just throw the quests and start over" helps as a suggestion, but there definitely is truth to it:
Tarkov has devolved from a "tactical game with survival mmo elements" into a grindfest of shitty "quests" and looting mechanics (hideout) that have nothing to do with actual gameplay.
To the point where people play "flip the market" simulator instead of actually playing the game. Its surreal.
This os the best colment on here dude sounds awesome to me that would be so cool.

Great vid ! Can you link the song(s?) you used in your content ? Sounds like there's some banger in there haha
Keep the great work !
I wish you asked him on an update for a console release because he’s confirmed years ago they were actively heavily pursuing it
If you add something to a game that affects gameplay you should have a way to track it day one this isnt rocket science
I wish the ttk wasn't so unreasonable. Like it genuinely makes the game a lot less fun for me because I just wanna be able to use non-meta guns for the sake of variety.
It was possible before the armor changes. The playerbase didn't like it.
"As long as you are not expecting Call of Duty"
Meanwhile gameplay in the background is sprinting around, full auto, mag dumping enemies.
Yeah, real "realistic" and "Tactical" gameplay we got here.
if the single player game is offline, there shouldnt be much problem connecting the maps together in an open world
The game can do whatever as long as it stops wiping. I'm tired of doing everything over and over
never will happen, too many people get to end game within 2 weeks. They'd need to multiply their current quest count by like 10x atleast and even then it may not be enough. The gameplay cycle without quests and progression isn't interesting enough to keep people playing
Sorry I haven’t been following as much… so is there still going to be persistent and wiping servers? Or is it all persistent with prestige being an option?
the random wallbang at 17:37 lol
My main question is that will finished the game continue to “wipe?” I see the benefit but I also like the idea of experiencing end game stuff that casual players never get to see.
It doesn't seem like it, you wipe your account when you've "escaped" from tarkov
I want it to be remembered that you're talking about a basic feature of the game being almost totally ironed out trust me bro. 8 years in.
One thing i think is a must have in PvE is multiple PMCs you can play as, similar to how they described it in PvP, so for example i can have a CO-OP save with my friend with one set of mods, and another solo with more hardcore mods.

running out of breath when mentioning all the topics of the video is a sign this is gonna be a good video
Been impatiently waiting for this video this week.. thanks bro you’re my go to news source for this game

my only concern is that typically when games have server-side data like this, its more accessible to cheaters. but i guess it can't get much worse, right?
if theyre saying winter 2025, itll be summer 2026
No, it will be thursday
Didnt they said that release will be in 2024?
Eyyy, I'm glad to see a great video from you again!
Lame. Hardcore NEEDS to come to PvE. I would say PvE needs it arguably more than PvP does. Makes no sense.
why? you are not restrained by anything or anyone in pve, if you want to set hardcore rules on yourself, go for it. the issue with hardcore in pvp is that everyone else is playing on easy mode in comparison. this wipe especially, I'm playing hardcore and by week 3 of the wipe it felt like everyone else has everything they can want, while I'm struggling for ammo and mags.
@Karol-cj9fy There is an obvious difference between enforcing rules on yourself and having a game mode that does it and then rewards you for it. I.E. more xp etc. It creates a reward structure. It's so obvious. Why would you even be against this? What is the point of your comment?
@@ZeeroDubs I'm not against it, I'm just saying that pve needing it more is just not true. Like you even do need more xp etc in pve.
@@ZeeroDubs Again, I'm not saying don't do hardcore mode in pve, I'm just saying that the claim that pve needs it more is absurd.
If the new arena patch is the netcode they have been working on for 2 years I’ve lost what little hope I had left
Net code is a foundation not the whole building.
Wish they brought steam audio back. Was so nice😮💨
Sad
I've heard that if it doesn't pen the armor, than it doesn't count as a hit, pretty much.
Demo review is so huge, that is how a lot of cheaters get caught in CS. It's going to be such a huge release.
Which do you think will come out first for full release. Squadron 42 or Tarkov?
Anyone know what their next project is? Haven't seen an announcement
The headcam thing will be HUGE
Trail cam is going to be insane, really interested to see how other people path.
Give the code away that you know works and roll the dice on your account for the other one. If it works gratz you have the UE, if not oh well. If you end up getting it and not wanting it just delete your UE items at wipe and set your tag to the EOD tag instead of the UE tag.
Probably will end up that way yep will announce when but will be for twitch subs I imagine, need to keep that rolling.
if UE hurts anyone's feelings bad enough they need to delete their own items...they might also need a psychological evaluation XD
@@3DProductions I understand, but some people just don't like how BSG did that and I get it. I have UE, I don't really care who does or does not.
They needed this in game multiple years ago.
Welp we got it now haha
I kinda wish their is a way to help people with hearing problems in this game. I play tarkov a lot and my main issue is that I struggle to hear things like foorsteps and important noise ques. It might just be me but it feels like the background or environment noises are louder then the actual noises like enemy footsteps and them stepping on glass. Don't get me wrong when indoors I can hear them step on metal and more. It just might be me idk
Any news on the graphic overhaul? Game still looks like it was made in 2011
Wait, the netcode in Arena rn is supposed to be the better and improved netcode?
Brother in Christ, Arena's hit registration and desync is _worse_ than EFT's!
Have you played recently? It is A LOT better
@@KiddBuu_ I played a few days ago. Has it updated since then?
So, no quest rework ahead?
Edit: asking in case I missed him talking about it or if it all
By some miracle I hope they find a way to ban and limit the amount of hackers in this game.
If they add killcam it will eliminate 99% of the blatant cheaters. It would be soooo easy to know who is cheating or not.
Exactly yea big big ticket item for sure
For Me it needs to remain difficult. That along with being able to kit Myself up with gear I own Irl & or will own soon is what keeps Me playing.
Sounds great. I play a lot of PVE now, so it'd be nice if the A.I. wasn't either sniping through bushes from 100 meters, or stuck standing in a corner oblivious. There's literally like a 50/50 chance you'll die instantly, or feel like your picking on little kids.
Yep that is the priority on the AI dev side of things.
3k hours 4 years my opinion is invalidated by claiming I’m new and casual.
If i can watch people, then i might actually come back to PVP.
