@@7WEEKS I thought it was going to be the usual KC cover with a modern metal sound, which is akin to Hollywood making live action remakes of old cartoons. Hard to do, but pointless. The band kept the twisted carnival vibe and generally have a classy sound.
I'm very grateful to experience this cover! The loyalty to the original version proves 7 weeks are very able musicians. Bringing the composition even further proves the immense creativity of the band. I'm blown away!

This cover reveals a few things: the full Metal Power of King Crimson songs, year 1970, incredible! It also goes to full-monty of the david-lynchian-world, in the video and in the lyrics. This cover is just incrediblé !

Love the metal edge to this rendition. Circus's and clowns do have an evil edge to them which might explain why you don't see them too much anymore. 7 weeks captures this perfectly.

@@7WEEKS I’m an old prog rock fan but I was late to the game with KC in the 80’s. May I ask how in the world you guys thought to cover this fantastic but completely obscure relic?
@@fireit7007 we really love KC and for a long time, and this song is in my top of KC (with Starless, Epitaph, or 80's stuff like Three of a perfect pair...). We are more 'heavy rock' in our usual stuff but I guess Crimson (or also Bowie) are "lurking" in our music. I have to admit that it took some time in readings and researches to quite understand the lyrics ;) but it's fascinating as well as adapting this fantastic music in our style.

Davvero bravi, cover fedele nello spirito all''originale (l'utilizzo della chitarra acustica nel contesto hard è crimsoniana al cento per cento), ma con una sua personalità. Mi piacerebbe in futuro sentire altre cover di brani prog eseguiti dai 7 weeks.

good cover and excellent video, however for me this might really have been worth singing in French. in other words use the video the same way but translate the lyrics and do a french version..!!!! this makes more in line with who the band is... A french band... thoughts? g

La cosa poi che trovo stupefacente e' che nel vostro arrangiamento non avete perso una sola goccia dello " spirito crimsoniano " cosa non certo facile. Bravi bravi e ancora bravi avete fatto vibrare un " vecchio " estimatore e profondo conoscitore del Re Cremisi che mi ha accompagnato per tutta la vita dal lontano 1973. Complimenti ! Excellent work! First of all, for choosing this song you have shown that you have a 360-degree musical taste and sensitivity and it does you credit. The thing that I find amazing is that in your arrangement you haven't lost a single drop of the "Crimsonian spirit" which is certainly not easy. Well done and still good you have made an "old" admirer and profound connoisseur of the Crimson King vibrate who has accompanied me throughout my life since 1973. Congratulations!
