How Did The V8X Coil Perform On The X-Terra Elite?

- Using the V8X Coil on the Minelab X-Terra Elite Metal Detector while on my Sacramento California road trip. I metal detected a dozen residential parks in this episode! How did the coil perform?
The smaller coil does increase the time it takes to clear a tot lot but wow, I am amazed at how well this detector and coil performed! I was able to find the smallest targets and it did a fantastic job locating targets! I have to give it a thumbs up!
The Elite is about $479 but I feel the $599 price tag is not bad considering you get both coils and the ML-85 Wireless headphones.

I told you that you would love the elite. Especially the expedition pack with the 2 coils. Minelab hit a homerun with this detector. Looks like the Xterra Elite is now the bling ring king to swing

We run the same size coils on a couple Vanquish detectors we have , they never come off , perfect size for parks and playgrounds . Nice hunt Bill

Xterra Elite seem to be kick butt hope you use the other coils on it. Great hunt Bill did great on rings and keep drinking the water . Keep Swinging
We used the larger coil at the beach which is in the previous video. They are both great!! I keep reminding him to drink lots of water.

Bill, Sterling Silver jewelry does tarnish. That chain could be Sterling. I have a jewelry cleaning cloth I use to clean my Sterling silver jewelry.
That detector did a great job! Did you ever find 7 rings in one hunt before?
I will be testing it when I get home but it does look more worn than tarnished. It is heavy so being silver would be sweet! Thanks. I have found more but it was during a several day hunt. Still need to get back on the gold... soon enough

The new Xterra Elite seems to be a winner for SMF performance at a really great value. A few days ago I ordered it with the Expedition Pack and it is out for delivery at the moment for arrival today. I can’t wait to go detecting with it.
I think you will really like it. That is the best setup if your gonna get one. I don't use headphones often but it is nice to get them with this package. Good luck on your hunts!!!

Hey Bill that was a good hunt and i cant believe we got kicked out of that one park though but it is what it is i guess lol but good hunt though and hopefully we can meet up on Friday morning and another hunt with you before you head back to L.A. and oh that X-Terra Elite is a really nice machine and it did a awesome job
It seemed pretty fair considering there were so many people at the park. And some people aren't very good about making clean holes in soccer fields. Not to mention bringing large shovels into a park make the groundskeepers a little nervous.

I posted my video with the X-terra Elite and the V8x and it was beyond stable, highly recommend this machine, way better than the X-terra pro
I still like the X-terra pro, but the Elite is definitely an upgrade of it.

Looks like a long day I know how those hot days are here in Vegas thinking about going out tonight with Robert, looks great that would have beat my ring total for the day my record is 5 so 7 is an awesome day even if a lot of them are kids rings

You hit 10 parks in one day. In high heat. What vitamins are you taking? Please tell us. Yes, the elite is a really good machine. I'm very impressed with mine also as there is really no need to buy one of their higher-end models with the way this performs. This machine does it all. And 7 rings has to be close to a record for one day. Nice hunt!
I think I just get so focused. Lol. Just made sure I drank a lot of water between parks. I agree, the elite has proven to be a solid detector. I really enjoyed using it. I still hope to find gold before I leave the area. Gonna try and get out some more in the next couple days for a Saturday video then head home. Rode 18 miles today in the bike in preparation for the next hunt.
