Scarborough RT was first use. Skytrain in Vancouver is by far the largest based on this technology...Mark 2&3s not usable on the rt due to curve radius used. Very reliable system. Some Mark 1s are now 35 years old. Recently refurbished, though probably retired in 2030.
Air train at JFK and Beijing airport train also use them though not the Mark 1s. Vancouver is far and away the largest and most elaborate system of its type..linear induction propulsion is quite unique and the Mark 1s have a sound like no other.
@@ragellejean Actually, Waterfront is the busiest station on the network. Commercial-Broadway is the third busiest station, after Metrotown and Waterfront.
nice video and reletavly clean stations.
I like the sounds from the mark 1
Sounds like the TTC rt

Nice vid!
I love it because it sounds like the people movers in Detroit
The train cars that are used on the Detroit People Mover are the same as the Mark 1's used on Skytrain.
