I have read about what they do in various fanfics. The most basic of tortures is: First, using a fine blade to slice into the body in a way that the skin can be slowly peeled off. This causes extreme pain on its own. Next, the same is done for each layer of muscle tissue until the bones are exposed. After that, the bones are carefully broken and removed from the body. Then, the organs are carefully lifted from the body while still being connected to it. Keep in mind, the subject is alive, conscious, and fully aware of what is happening to it during this dissection. And this is not even a very severe torture to the haemonculi. They can do far worse such as replacing a person's blood with something else, rearrange body parts and make them different, turn you into a part of the building, etc.
Am I the only one who sees a warped parallel between the Haemonculi and the Mechanicus? Wracks = Skitarii, Grotesques = Servitors. Both can resurrect themselves, provide bionics/augmentation, do thier own crazy cult crap, have multiple limbs. Granted Urien Rakarth makes crazy old Belisarius Caul look as friendly and "harmless" as Willy Wonka... The main difference between the groups is in obsession and reaction. One is obsessed with the flesh and revels in emotion, the other focuses analytically on machines.
So I'm just getting into this now, but the entire concept of the dark eldar obsession with pleasure and pain, the Haemonculi especially sound super close to cenobites ... Love of all sensations, raiding close dimensions for "subjects" slaves what have, "flesh sculpting", just saying, a puzzle box seems like an excellent party favor for haemonculi
Everything the Heamonculi do is terrifying but the idea of them getting their hands on kroot to experiment on sounds like it'll inevitably end up with bootleg tyranids
The ideas that comes to mind of guilty pleasures for Dark Eldar Haemonculi. *tending a small rose garden under artificial light in the dark city* *watching ancient Terran television shows* .oO(these talking ponies.... I must make one)
I can’t help but think that if Slaanesh ever finds a way to break into Commoragh, s/he might just let the haemonculi live; their work would definitely count as a “turn-on” for She Who Thirsts.
more like nurgle. they're masters off death and biological weaponry and are the only true immortal Eldar in 40k as urien rakarth is easily over 11000 years old and existed before the fall as a leader of the ancient hedonistic Eldar.
That implies Slaanesh is capable of some level of self-control. Sure they'd be beneficial in the long run and it would be a net gain to keep them around, but Slaanesh will always choose instant gratification.
Dude thanks u so much. This is exactly what Ive been looking for, i play drukhari and am a big fan of the covens but knew shit about them... Gonna listen to at leats all your drukhari videos
I get the idea of recording in the bathroom however a better option would be to throw a blanket over your computer this creates a sound deadening affect. I want to see you succeed this is a little trick that will absolutely help if you don’t have a sound room
I think the word " _Drukhari_ " is employed by the Craftworld Eldars rather than the Dark Eldar. It would make more sense, since it sound less refined that they'd like to be called.
If I were to guess, the Prophets of Flesh since they're supposed to be Rakarth's. Beyond that, there is another one but their name slips my mind right now.
Part of it is things beyond my control - I can't stop cars driving past my window nor deal with other people's noise save with editing (and even that doesn't always work, since it also slightly affects the edited voice audio too). I'm hoping to keep a level of consistency, but there's only so much I can do.
How so? The art is all of the Haemonculi and such, and the section on Urien Rakarth and the other notable one included a picture of Rakarth. Bear in mind I try to avoid using GW art where possible and always try to credit artists so I am somewhat limited in what I can use, but they're all on theme.
@@TacticaImperialis i don't remember after 3 years lol but it had to do with you talking about a certain guy / creature and showing general artwork. So you get lost, "oh is this guy the guy he's talking about ? Wait then what is this ? what is the creature he's refering to ?"
Ah yes, from the word "ennuyeux" meaning boring, of course (I speak French and just returned from a year in France, so I should have picked up on that).

It think it would be case of having a great meal now or having alot of bonbons overtime.
Slaanesh is kind of the clear the whole buffet kind of god.

Mikazuchi yea, but they are unconsciously worshipping her. They never repented their twisted that birthed slaanesh in the first place. So...

My favorite unit in all of 40k.. I love the Haemonculous cult
Very well produced and presented series. Love it.!

You are a master of your craft sir! Pure enjoyment listening to this!
Great job Michael, enjoyed that
Glad to hear it - thought it might just appeal a bit to that Slaaneshi side
welp off to Lock and load my Gear, there are some BTSM freaks that need a good Purging... wait I thought this was about Dark Eldar not in Commorragh.
I love your work, But can you get a better mic. Sound quality is a little wanting.
have you ever seen event horizon? I'm pretty sure the place they find is a part of the warp that is under the control of slaanesh.
Hellraiser-Pinhead?!?!?!
Awesome video. Great job as always

Caaaant wait for the codex 😍
If the covens made a titan sized monster i would change my character into a haemonculus
Fallen Sorcerer Raziel the flesh tower
Masters of pain... GET DA ORKS TO STOMP DIS GITZ
What did they teach Bile???? I must know!!!
Joe Vampire the Coven of the Thirteen Scars taught Bile how to be manipulate flesh.
how to make the primaris space marines, then he had to make a pact with tzeentch so he could fool roboute girlyman
Hellbeckons huh?
@@Hellbeckons Not confirmed yet. Who knows, maybe Cawl integrated a clone of Bile into his multiple-personnalites bank ! xD
I would love for the audio quality to improve :)
Tzimisce?
kaluan Rodrigues Guerra basically.
They are probably among the most advanced beings in the whole galaxy
Drukhari are like DCCU Kryptonians: both have their common people Genetically engineered for reproduction
If ever two groups deserved each other than it would be the haemoncluli and the Emperoro's Children. Much BDSM ensued.
*Smiles in Pinhead*
So which one of the Covens will most likely be in the Codex?
If I were to guess, the Prophets of Flesh since they're supposed to be Rakarth's. Beyond that, there is another one but their name slips my mind right now.
Tactica Imperialis the Children of Bone, The Ebon Sting, The Hex and The Prophets of Flesh are the most heard of Covens.
Tsimisce intensifies
I can hear your voice echoing off of your 40k posters hung on the pent roof of your atticbedroom. I'm with the others that want a better mic.
Tau-er of flesh. I c wut u did there.
The Haemonculi are one of the most fucked up factions in teh WH40K universe
You are quality
Why does your audio quality bounce up and down so much like you Grey Knights sound better.

Tactica Imperialis Cool, keep up the good work then you blue noseless space
commie.😁
It’s most likely the effects of the webway distorting sound /nod
I dunno ... the daemonculaba was pretty much the most fucked up thing I've ever read about.
So they enjoy Taco Bell
try matching pictures to the vid please. It gets confusing sometimes

So you perk peoples interest in GWs lore and products but can't use their art.... GW kills itself left and right.
It's not that I can't, I just choose not to because I want to feature as much non-GW art as possible!
Well thanks for shining a spotlight on fan art and lesser known works.

Oh for sure, Asuryani and Exodites want separate themselves from their 'Dark' cousins as much as possible. Except in specific or desperate situation.
