Man, those 850s sound good, too. Nice.

Damn I miss my 850, bought on brand new in 2015, fastest it ever said was 76mph...plenty fast! Thought I got bored with it...sold it some years back...damn tempted to go get a brand new one again!

I weighed my 2024 ultimate trail 850 and it’s 950 lbs with half a tank of fuel. The winch, power steering, front and rear bumpers along with heavy 27” tires all add up. It doesn’t wheelie as easy as yours does. It doesn’t seem to accelerate as quick as yours either. Regardless I’ve had it up to 132 km/hr. Now there’s a stop ride on it due to some fuel flange leak causing fires in a few machines. Also the rear sway bar is making an awful noise when you push down on the back end. It’s still a really nice machine though. Hopefully I made the right decision getting it. I sold my 2012 brute force 750 and it never gave me any problems.

what made you decide to go with this unit vs the competitors & what else were you considering? I'm either going with one of the polaris 850's or 1000's. Love that big vtwin sound and power!

Same I’m thinking the scrambler 850🤔

      @@ljgaming8015 Great minds think alike!
What do you think about the + $1500 upcharge from the base 850 to the premium? I'm a fairly strong dude but I'm thinking the power steering isn't worth $1500 extra as you can find aftermarket power steering units for $500-600. I also don't really care about wheels on an ATV so paying $1500 for Polaris wheels that I don't really even like seems a waste... Other than EPS, aren't these models identical?

@@freidrichnietzsche6643Base to premium You get Eps, wheels, Adc which is nice, and engine breaking which the base models don’t have. I like the engine braking and Adc so I went to the premium.

The one we have is the base model with no power steering and to be honest you really don’t need the power steering but It would be nice to have.

I went to buy one today and they wouldn’t because of a recall something about a oil flange apparently the same mistake they had in the new snowmobiles

I’ve had mine since April. Got the same notice. Real bummer but I’ve put 450 km on it and hasn’t burned up yet.

I got 81mph out of mine on a hard packed forest service rd. A lighter rider may have made 83 or more?

I only weigh 150 pounds and the fastest I could get it to was 81 so there probably speed limited at that.

275 lbs here. Closer to 280 all dressed for riding. Had mine to 132 km (about 82 mph) and it seemed to be governed there. That was a good tail wind on hard packed dirt road.
