Thank you so much, Dan. After months of pain, I now decided that all my symptoms were caused by TMS. It started with a mild injury and misdiagnosis that had me spiraling and in constant stress and worry that my body was breaking apart when in fact nothing is wrong with me. Yet, the brain's alarm is beeping in different locations every day. I'm in my journey of talking myself back to safety.

First time I've heard a bee called a "Yellow Jacket"...beautiful! Another brilliant reminder Dan. I find in my own learning journey this react/respond has come in cycles over these years...but each time there's been a reaction (even when getting pulled in sometimes for days)...the respond learning comes in earlier & earlier...the brain is learning through each successive cycle to step in with the reassuring voice. Wonder if this is similar for anyone else. Much love to everyone. Have a blessed day.Xxx💜

Dan has other skills other than knowing his plants and insects. Let's celebrate that instead of pointing out his knowledge on botany and animals.

Thank you so much Dan! Lovely video as always.
I've had a increase in symptoms last few days, coinciding with getting my new puppy Maple. God I love her but I am exhausted. Feel a little guilty for feeling this way but I am only human! Safety is the way I guess. Life gets lifey as you say... seems like my brain perceives this change in lifestyle with danger.

I strongly believe that as we gradually tip the scale more toward the parasympathetic state and less toward fight or flight, even our reactions will change to be less "reactive". A stronger sense of who we are and that we can and will handle what comes our way will also shift our reactions.

Hi Dan. I have a quick question regarding pelvic pain.
I am no longer afraid of exercise, biking, weight lifting and resuming life the same way as before (with pain though). Interestingly, my pain, which is mostly constant throughout the day, reduces during exercise and movement and peaks usually when I try to relax, have nothing to do. Why could that be my pain perceiving “chilling” dangerous? Appreciate everything you do for us❤

May just be that you're so occupied when you workout and then when you chill your subconscious goes nuts. I'm similar

The brain is just looking for something, “trying on” a symptom to keep you in hyper vigilant state. It’s trying to convince you something is wrong. It’s harder for it to accomplish that when you are doing squats, running, or riding a bike. Your concentration is on your form and your breath.
      Sneaky.

    Hi Dan,
I'm hoping to get your opinion on something. I've been dealing with chronic dizziness for the past four months. I've been doing somatic tracking exercises 2-3 times a day and walking 5,000 steps outside daily. It's been very helpful! I'm feeling much better, around 85-95% recovered.
However, sometimes I still experience a slight feeling of floating for a few hours (2-4 hrs) and my vertigo returns every 1-2 months.
With this improvement, I'm wondering if a full-time office job (8 hours a day) might be too much. While the floating sensation isn't constant, it can be difficult to focus during those 1-3 hours it does occur.
Given this, I'm debating between a full-time and part-time job. I understand full-time jobs are usually for people who are fully recovered, but is it okay to work at 90% capacity for a while? I'm worried pushing myself too hard with a full-time job might set me back to 50% recovery.
Any advice you have on navigating this decision would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Ve

I missed a competition because my hypertension was too high. The cause was generalized anxiety dating back 13 years. Fear took my sanity and my health. Im losing hope. How to regain confidence after this failure due to my poor health?

So much for me saying I'm staying away from medical profession 🙄 ongoing ear issues, spray antibiotics haven't worked. Now tonsillitis 🤔.Had appointment booked for a different structural thing and 20mins before it, my ear felt like it'd explode . Unfortunately full blown panic attack when the sensation of flowing fluid showed up. Haven't had any ear issues for over four decades.
My son calmed me down. I was able to drive to the appointment. Thankfully the eardrum hadn't burst so now on steroid antibiotics drops for two weeks, sigh. Great doctor, who reassured me that the sensations regarding ears/infections are weird and can feel scarey and that'll be ok. Got back on track, went for a walk in the park. I just think I'm exhausted and my brain is overly protective atm. Either way my response has to be "calm reassurance , trust the body" asap once that first ouch has been.
Thank goodness for this site. Pdp journey continues.

I can relate to ears the steroids preidaone will help with inflammation and be careful of those antibiotics along with antibiotics, ear pain is awful those steroid drops are okay but be careful using them as well in a week you will notice a difference but if it still hurts you may need an oral antibiotic, take care I hope you feel better soon
