I plan to spend the coming year focusing on emptying my box of Christmas scraps from over the past 10 years, plus all the Christmas paper I have still in my stash from Christmas's past as I haven't bought any for the past 3 years now as I don't like the dark colours, then my favourite Australian craft store closed its doors permanently this week & so I ended up buying sheets of Christmas paper from them a couple of weeks ago to make cards as I couldn't resist the patterns as they are Australian in design & they were at 60% off their normal price. The idea is to go through my CTMH books & using the card designs, make up a collection of cards & clean out my stash & maybe also my stash of old cardstock as well. I live in a tiny one roomed apartment & I am a hoarder so this is my new year's resolution to clean out my stash & make my flat look less cluttered!! Last year I went through & used up my pocket cards to make Christmas cards for my church fete. So this is hopefully where the next lot will go as well. Have a very happy Christmas!!
I love my CTMH products but do like to top up with others. Here on the Gold Coast we only have Stampers Hut left and they downsized recently due to on-line sales cutting into her business. It's a shame that small business is affected and we often like to physically see the item. I too have lots of Christmas paper to use up, probably going back further than 3 yrs and with our different climate, the snow and pine trees have limited use.
All of your cards are so beautiful. I love the ones with the deer and the ones with the star, sprigs, and bows but my very favorite is the one with all the trees and the nighttime sky. I already finished and sent out my Christmas cards but now I want to make more 🤣 Get a head start on next year’s cards perhaps 🤣
Oh my! Where do I start😂. All your cards are pretty but my absolute favorites are the ones with the gold star on white with green floral paper. I eagerly waiting for you to use those stars 😆. The poinsettia cards are another favorite. It’s funny you posted this today cause it’s exactly what I’ve been working on for the past two days. I’ve been hoarding a collection since 2006!! I’m following the same method you did. Thanks so much for sharing your tips and tricks.
Thank you so much! I was waiting to use those stars too! 😂 Needed just the right design. I have always been a sucker for stars and those are cool. I may try finding something similar to cut more on my Cricut to use with that sweet bow die. Thanks for watching! Hope it helped you finish yours and that you were able to bash your old stash! ❤️
Hmm my definite favourite love is the one with the dark sky and the Christmas trees - and I liked it that you drew lines to jazz up paper you didn't like!
This is such a great idea for all those left over bits. I have the same issue with hoarding things like the titles. Love the deer card and the Star with the sprigs. Well I love them all!
I never have time to make my cards later in the year. I decided I wanted to make them early at a retreat coming up- now I'm taking my stash and using it up. Thank you for the inspiration ❤
All your cards came out so great! I loved the one with the Christmas trees and the stars in the nighttime background.
Thanks so much!

What are thw dimensions of your cards? It seems easy to make small dimensional cards as comapre to big 5x7 or 6x6 cards
I do A2 size cards, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
