Great video! I am no longer a paper pad buyer. I have 31 sheets of a single sided Christmas pad. Its Kaisercraft so it is a 6.5 pad. I got so many ideas from this video. I think it is somewhere between 6 and 10 years old. This year, it is getting used
Jess thanks for the walk through of your thought process. The two stickers you didn’t use can be turned over and stamped or use an oval die cut out & cover the sentiment.
Thank you so much!!! I’m more of a scene/coloring card maker but I bought a kit recently and had no idea how to get organized. Your video has helped me so much!!!
This is so helpful. I appreciate you showing us all the options we have and can make with some of the challenging paper. Also, not using mats because when mass producing, it's helpful with one less step. Nice set of cards. Thank you
WOW! Well done, Jess. Although many of your paper buster templates won't perfectly fit my A6 (European size) cards, I think it will be fairly easy to adjust them. So I think I will try out your style of making lots of cards from one pad for this year's Christmas cards.
Love, love this video ! Love the way you explain steps and options for these sketches . You are such a kind and generous person . Thank you so much ! ❤️😊
I too, want to thank you for sharing all your creative ideas and templates! You are my go to for ideas, layouts, etc especially when I've lost a bit of my mojo. 🤪 What you do takes so much planning, time, and energy, and I truly appreciate you, as I'm sure others do as well.
I have these embellishments and some of the pads…I can’t wait to try some of your ideas. I, too, have been through with my cards for a while…but there’s always room for more!
Thank you so much for all of your templates and your content! You are so generous! I truly appreciate the video that shows how you make your cards. You're so creative! I appreciate all of your hard work!!! I also love that you didn't edit out any mistakes you made, and how you adjusted them. You rock!
Love this video and you’re organizing your patterns and sketches all in each folders . Like that’s it 6x6 pattern paper , because I have lots of that size patterns . 🥰😊
excellent cards, I have this collection in 12x12 and I loved it at the store when I got home I found it a bit challenging. I will def try to work with it again. 🤣
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, process, and templates in your videos. These are so very helpful for me as a beginner with a LOT of patterned paper packs to use up!!!
Wow, you really got a lot out of those papers. Thanks for sharing your thought process. I think for the directional deer card, I would have kept the layout, but just have the card be a landscape bottom open card when you are done. It would be assembled exactly like the sketch, but the way you would orient the finished card would have the strips going vertical rather than horizontal.
Thanks for sharing your process in using the Michael’s Christmas 6x6 paper pad & die cuts. I purchased several packs of Christmas 6x6 paper pads two years ago. I thought the papers & die cuts were pretty; however, i think the die cuts were really too large for A2 cards. Since then, I have passed on purchasing the die cuts. TFS.
Thank you so much for sharing. I have this pad and look forward to using some of these templates. The ephemera pack I have to work with will require some 5 x 7 cards so I will be checking some of your other templates.
Lots of good ideas there, Jess, as always! I think I'd have cut the piece for the 5x7 card in a vertical orientation - looks like that might not have cut into the words...? The card would have been portrait rather than landscape, though. I have several pads that would be good for that sketch.... And several of the A2 sketches can be re-jigged a little to suit my UK A6 cards.
I just used this paper pad. Sorry, but the designs look a little bare. I’d rather use layers that cover the card in graduated sizes. I don’t mind scraps because I use them for gift card holders or tags. This pad was challenging, but the cardstock stickers were a big help. I actually don’t take off the backing, but add double sided foam tape to add dimension. I also added some gold gemmies, which I think brightened it up a bit.
Love your cards. Just wanted to ask, the sketch #40 with the directional paper that you were concerned about (the deer); couldn't you have just turned the card so that it opened from the bottom and it would have worked?
Hi, the plastic folders are Poly Binder Pockets from Amazon. There's an affiliate link in the video description if you want to see the specific ones I used.
Hi, You can use 12x12 single sided paper but you might want to cut it down to 6x6 first and you can also cut the same template for two different patterns and then mix and match them. Hope that helps.
All my paper pads seem to be heavy like cardstock. Why do they call them paper pads when they are such heavyweight paper? Yours look much lighter weight.
Wow! I just discovered your RUclips channel, I really enjoy all your explinations,Thery are very clear. Thank you!

Ingenuous thinking. This helps us make the best use of our valuable papers. Thanks so VERY much. ⛄

I learned here that I need to choose papers and ephemera BEFORE I start cutting up everything! Your idea works great!
Cut the top strip (with the deer) off the paper pad cover and trim out the deer to use as the embellishment on those two cards that are missing one.
You have great ideas! Thank you for sharing them. Great idea rotating the card to open landscape if you cut it in the wrong direction.
Beautiful cards Jess 🥰 I love the paperpad, the ephemera and your card designs ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
