This sketch is just what I needed today! I am making 86 card kits for attendees at a scrapbooking crop and this sketch will be perfect for me to get the multiple card kits I need. The cards will be donated to a local group that donates cards to charity.
I have a 12x12 frame in my craft room. I use those full sheet designs as seasonal or inspirational decor. I have a nice little collection and I enjoy changing them to suit the season.
And I use them another way: I purchase 12x12 flat panel canvases. Cut 1/8” off all four edges of my 12x12, then I use Mod Podge to glue the paper to the panel and give them as gifts or keep them myself. A hanger on the back made from twine or ribbon can be got glued for hanging.
Thank you! Another great one. Another thing I do if I think I need a mat but I don't want to or don't have anything appropriate to mat with, is just run a marker or a run the edge of the patterned paper on a stamp pad.
Just ordered the new templates... woo hoo! I love the fact that I can make huge batches of cards... I use the templates for the kits, that have been piling up for too long. i don't keep my cards. I tend to gift them to family and friends. My last give away was over 1k cards... Your templates allow me to create, use my supplies and spend my time crafting and creating and not stressing over the design of the card. Now I spend my time die cutting, coloring and decorating... thanks.
When I have single sided paper that I won’t use, I turn it over and use the white side for sentiment stamping or panels for inside if using dark card stock bases.
I finally figured that out a year or so ago! I had been donating those pages and then buying white cardstock to cut up for the inside of cards, as I prefer using colored cardstock bases. Now, I have a whole box of precut card inserts for the inside, made out of all those sheets! Big Yay!
I make Christmas cards every month on the 25th to have them ready to mail during the busy season. For those sheets of paper you don’t want to use, keep for stamping on the reverse side
i like the cutting board with blue numbers. The one I have the numbers are light and I get a glare with the light. I might just have to purchase a new board. LOL!!
This one is my new favorite! I really wanted to use some new paper I just got, but it's directional. I flipped the sketch to horizontal, cut the 1" strip in half and pieced it behind the circle element - a trick I learned from some of your other templates 😁
Thank you! This a great and timely as I was just going through my overwhelming stash of beautiful 12x12 papers yesterday and looking to turn them into a bunch of cards.
Great sketch and you know I always need more cards. I have a 2" and 2 1/4" punch. Saves so much time for me. I do need to print some more artwork to keep around, I'm running low.
These are cute but I think a bit busy. I would not put decorative paper on the horizontal bar, leave it blank...just me. I think I'll make these this weekend.
Oh No! I missed the boat on this Recollections paper pad. Out of stock at all Michael's stores within 200 miles and "not available on-line. Do they ever bring paper pads back the next year? Thanks for sharing your card templates. Obviously I love patterned paper and you help me USE it (rather than hoarding it).
Perhaps it is somewhere further down in the comments, but those white pages that were one-sided with a 12 x 12 print. The backside of those could be used as a layer. Although it might not be terribly sturdy, it wouldn’t add much bulk if the cards you were designing needed a little pop of white. You could also use it for your scrap when you were trying to raise the center of those cutouts. Again, if it’s thinner, you might have to double it up to get the same height as the card stock but just an idea offered sincerely.
Hi Jess, love the new template. Have you ever done a 4Bar template? I make a lot of note cards to give as gift sets, they are 3.5 x 5. It would be fun to see what you come up with if you try that size.
I love your ideas but you talk way too fast and say way too.much to make your videos fun to watch. I usually just turn sound off so I can still get your ideas.

So glad it will be helpful to you and thank you sharing!

Another great sketch for 12x12 papers. Will be making this sketch for my donations. I prefer to make a lot of cards at one time. TFS.
Awesome, glad you like it! Thanks for watching!

Thank you so much for sharing how my templates help you! It makes me so happy. Thank you for supporting me!
Sometimes all I have is 2 coordinating papers, so this works perfectly for a set of cards. Thanks so much!!

Very nice card sketch, TFS

This is a great one, Jess!! I am determined to clear some things out and your card sketches help for that. Thanks for all the tips! 💙💙💙
You could always use the back of that card stock as white. Use it to stamp sentiments or images when needed.

I'm at the beginning of the year like everyone else, so I'm starting with Happy Birthday. This sketch is really flexible!
Got to try this one out. I hate when my papers don't work together the way I thought they would!
Thank you for sharing. A great way to get a lot of cards fast. Love pink and those trees are adorable.

I make birthday cards for all of my coworkers, so a sketch that makes a lot of cards at once works for me. Thanks so much! ❤
Awesome, glad it will be helpful!
I live this layout. Using double sided paper, it would be easy to make only 9 cards.
What a fabulous design….love it. Thank you.
Your sketches are really cool, and I was excited to find the 5x7 ones in your shop. Thank you!
Cute cards! Thanks for sharing
Another fantastic video.
I really like this sketch! Cannot wait to give it a try.
Beautiful cards Jess 🥰 I love your card designs, the pattern papers and your tutorial ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Thanks so much!
The white side of the paper can be used for cutting on the scan n cut with patterns that come preloaded. After that, they can be inked or painted.
Super cute design! I have papers screaming to create this design!! 😊
Awesome, happy crafting!

I love this card sketch, and dagnabbit, now I need to make a trip to Michael's because that paper is right up my alley! Thanks for sharing Jess!!
Another great sketch! Thanks, Jess!!!

I love this sketch! But think that the link might be broken. I signed up on your blog twice, but never received the link.
I make gift bags out of the large 12x12 pages with the sayings.
Great idea!

Good idea! Something I will certainly consider in the future.
Just corrected, I meant 4Bar cards, not A1 (those are huge) 😃@@JessCrafts
I use the “ ugly” pages to make envelopes

You can slow down the speed on the video to slow the speech as well as the movement. Hope that helps.
Seriously, you think she talks too fast? I think she talks at a normal speed
If you can share share it to yourself and watch it many times, I do, and it really helps.
