Thank you Jess! I make Cards for Cubs (a non-profit who collects handmade birthday cards and cards of encouragement, for kids in foster care). This sketch would be great for that! I also make Cards for Troops (deployed troops get the cards and send them back home to family/friends. One of the themes we make cards for is “juvenile birthdays”, so this would be great! You make great videos. Your voice is pleasant, and you have your act together…no running into another room to look for supplies you need. A wonderfully done video is greatly appreciated!

I make cards to donate to Cards for Kindness. I’ll have to look into the other groups you talked about also.

I love this sketch with the circles. You have a great idea with cutting the circles from reverse side. I'll definitely use this sketch for future cards. Thank you! 🙂

When I've used your templates like this that call for cutting shapes (e.g. circles) out of the main layer & then adhering them over that spot, I usually don't die cut the shapes directly from the panel, as shown in your diagram. I often use that as either an image spot, in which I may die cut cardstock & layer that over the (solid) panel, or use it for a greeting with cardstock & the same procedure. That makes it less fussy to me, as I don't have to be "concerned" with where I'm die cutting. Also, there won't be marks on the front of my patterned paper panel from my cutting plate, as there could be if I die cut with it face down in between my plates. Hope that makes sense. Another great circle die source is Waffle Flower. They have their Nesting Circles die set and an Additional Circles set. If you use both, you can end up with a 1/16" mat around your main circle, rather than 1/8". Sometimes I just like the narrower mat for my design. Of course, you can still have larger mats, even with those sets. The Additional Circles dies are just the in-between sizes (like the smallest is 3/8" rather than 1/2", & they go in 1/4" increments from there). Anyway, I do really like how your cards came out. I would agree - they are pretty gender-neutral. When my brother & I were kids, I'm not sure if he would have gone for race cars per se, though we both played with "his" Tonka trucks, so something like that could have gone for either of us. Conversely, I've never been a froo-froo and soft-focus flowers photos kind of girl. LOL Anyway, thank you for sharing. Always love watching your videos. Take care, Happy New Year, & have an awesome day! :)

Great fun sketch for 12x12 papers. I’ve been indecisive on whether to use 12x12 or 6x6 for A2 cards. Sometimes the 12x12 designs are too sparse to use for A2. This paper seems to work for A2. I too make cards to donate. TFS.

Great cards. In my experience with children's charities, they get five times the amount of items donated that are for girls, than they do for boys. Teenage boys are the least likely to receive something. I always try to buy or make quilts, toys, hats etc. for boys.
