If it were going to escalate, it most likely would have by now. The video being reacted to is from October 27, which was 20 days after the initial incident, and still within the 3-4 week crisis period. We're now another 17 days on, and Israel has definitely crossed (for example) whatever red line Hezbollah might have been trying to establish.

I don’t exactly think that it’s likely for the war to expand into Syria and Lebanon. Hezbollah, as mentioned in the video, is part of the Lebanese government. The issue though is that Lebanon has been having an economic meltdown for years right now, and everyone knows that if they actually go into a direct confrontation, Beirut’s going to get plastered like Syrian air fields and ports are. In addition, Hezbollah’s leader has also been very tepid about escalating participation into the war. His public comments have been lacking in substance, and while shells and missiles are being exchanged, he’s content to just issue threats about if Hamas is defeated, then Hezbollah will take action. Which, well, an interesting plan to wait until the primary other combatant you’re ostensibly allied to is defeated before you start fighting. Syria’s a non-factor due to the civil war having wrecked them, and Israel’s bombing their ports and airports to halt any movement in and out. Iran is indeed an issue, but they only have their ability to supply their proxies. They’re just not set up to have their military directly engage in Israel. The concern instead is over the Persian gulf and rockets getting launched over it, as well as Iraq’s continued issues with ISIS remnants and Iranian backed militias. That, however, is a headache for the US, and not Israel.

I think what he is trying to say, is that even if all these middle east countries were no longer plagued by terrorism and war, people would still not want to go home. Which is a generalized statement, but I do see where he is coming from

Europe can handle Russia, we also have two nuclear capable nations in Europe, France and UK.
We have a larger military, even more so now that a majority of Russian equipment has been destroyed in the Ukraine.
@@kkandola9072 We have no natural enemies in Europe atm dude, Russia is a paper tiger that especially after losing a ton of equipment in the Ukraine which will take them decades to recover from. Europe as a whole has a larger military, the EU plus UK has about 2 million active duty, whilst the USA has 1.4 million. We have only 500 less tanks and 500 less fighter aircraft. So we are perfectly able to contain Russia on our own, especially considering all across Europe defence spending has increased...

Building bombs and the military industry makes several dollars of economic activity, payroll and taxes and support businesses and so on. Every $100 dollars spurs $300 . It is way more effective compared to social welfare.

Thats absolutely and utterly true. The biggest criticism against them always has been xenophobia, which is based on their criticism of Islam and illegal migration (which is insane to not criticize as a politician imo). It was based on muslim values and crime statistics, because a lot of sexual and violent crimes against germans/nonmuslims came from them. NOW, since Israel conflict, all the established parties copy their positions 1:1 and act like they would also like a solution.
