This is absolutely raw and the best piece of "human" art I have ever watched. Your Soul is a multitude of colors. Thank you for allowing me to see some of it. Please, don't become too human, it will dull your life. Thank you for letting me remember why I never gave up in life. You have literally saved me...
You have saved me - and others - with your kind words. I’m re-releasing this and have launched a career in psychology and autism. From the bottom of my heart and from those who will never know you, thank you. 💕
Thank you for sharing! The world needs to do better at educating everyone on all sorts of differences we as humans experience. My son is on the spectrum and I’m of course always trying to learn more from him/ through him and for him. But it’s hard to leave home when others don’t know/ understand. And it’s sad that family and individuals who have something special get singled out and have to be the ones to educate others. I am proud of the hard work you’ve put in that allowed you to speak your truth and with over a million views, I know you’ve helped in educating many people with one video. Thank you, and keep being a wonderful ray of sunshine. P.S. your art is stunning!
The DSM should indeed only be used as a tool to understand generalized concepts ! There is no way everybody experiences the conditions explained in that book exactly the same way. I love the way you say that book only tells us how to be human. I also believe that everybody are two in their heads. There have been experiences made with people who brain hemispheres have been split and it's amazing - there is really two versions of us in everybody. I encourage everybody to research it. Thank you for sharing your personal experience of what it's like to grow up and live with autism. I've felt like I can relate to a lot of the things you've said. Which means your message is beautifully human and real. And people who are courageous enough to be authentic in a world where masks are worn at every corner are a gem. You truly are a genius. Much love
I truly, love you. Thank you and as “I’ve” progressed into more of a “we/us” awareness, we’ve been able to embrace an inner family system that works well. It’s like getting a marionette to walk on it’s own. LOL
You have such an amazing spirit about you and I was captivated as soon as you began speaking. You are going to inspire millions of people just by expressing your authentic self ❤️
Hey Morgan! Proud of you and you’re one of my favorite people!!! I would love to see a video of you talking about your experience working in corporate America, if you’re comfortable sharing.
sweetie we all got troubles and somecan attack them like you do. you are doing good. for others. and i am learning too i am72! and actually just seeing how different all autism is for many people in all sorts of ways .it must be really hard to hear ... in a loud. all the time.
Hi Morgan!! My name is Lindsay Lovins. I just saw your video, and it really touched me. I am the step-mom of 2 special needs teenagers. I met them when they were 8 & 4, now 17 & 14... wow!! Justin is 17, he has Fragile X, genetically inherited autism and he’s also MOSTLY non-verbal. However, he’s trying so hard to communicate more!! Sammy is 13, and she does NOT have Fragile X, it primarily affects males, and females are the carriers. I have had her tested twice, both negative... yay!! Which means, she can have children without fear of passing the FX gene!! With all this said... Sammy does suffer from a significant Intellectual Disability, and has been in special needs her whole life. She kind of looks like you!! Recently, we have started our own RUclips channel’s (this is our family one, hers is called Sammy Cat, and we’ve competed one video so far.) She’s expressed to me recently her want to advocate for other special needs kids. How even though she has struggled she NEVER stops trying!! I’m crying now... so proud! But, what you said at the end of this video is what really struck a cord with me. If we all just keep trying and communicating! What a powerful insight! I’ve told her about you, and tried to explain what Autism is, but I’m not sure she fully understands outside of Justin is autistic. I asked her to watch this, and come talk to me when she’s done. What an inspiration you are to this world of special needs!! Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
This is her channel, should you like to see her video we did. She made up all the questions, and had me ask her them. ruclips.net/channel/UCk4vF5TWPzj5_C4IUGa78vg
I’m so sorry I’m just now only seeing this! Oh you’re the best ever! Don’t worry, no one really understands autism - yet. If I had one for it, it’d be Autism is: “extra”. We have all sorts of extra and not a lot of manuals to go along with it. It’s kind of like having a jet fighter plane, but none of the instruments are labeled and the gauges are in Sanskrit. LOL Thankfully, each one of us is perfect, just the way we are. Best of luck to you both and all my love. 💕
Hi Morgan, I saw your video when someone posted it on Facebook. Your discussion was truly captivating (I can't wait for the TED talk!). Thank you so much for posting this, I really means a lot. [BTW, do you have an Instagram where you show your art?] . This is a special video. Mahalo.
Hi! Oh thank you! I do have an IG @morganadamsonline - I can’t believe I made this video and it was only a year ago. My goodness. Keeping up the good fight. 💕
Hello Mrs. Adams! I’m a 19 year old with autism and I have a hard time with saying what I’m thinking. Do you think you can go in depth about how to fix it?
Thank you for making this video!! I am watching it from the north of Sweden and it brought me a lot of curage to speak about my situation too.
