- It was a tough Saturday for the Gamecock faithful as the boys in garnet dropped in egg in Death Valley against a reeling LSU. Instead of leaving the weekend on a potential three game win streak, the Gamecocks effectively lost their positive momentum for an upset of #20 Auburn from the previous week. But for longtime fans of the South Carolina Gamecocks, it was just another day in the life.

The only people I am rude as hell to are people from Boston. With Clemson I have no hate, but respect. Like that annoying older brother you just can't be better than. You hate him, but it's not real hate.
FYI, I watched Clemson fans act every bit as horrible as anyone towards Miami fans in Charlotte for the ACC title game so it's not like any 1 fan base doesn't have their douchebags.
I just thought this video was funny as hell and perfectly captures what being a Gamecock fan feels like.

As a Georgia fan, I felt that sting from "beating a top 20 team"....Hello 2019! And all the other years SC killed our SEC champ hopes.

Even though this hurts every time I see it, I can't stop watching. I grew up in the stands of Williams-Brice and was taught what my father calls "Gamecock math" from a young age. There is always a chance to win and always a chance to lose.
No even an SC fan, but after seeing y’all beat a highly ranked TN and Clemson. I can see how hope comes. We’ll see what next season has.

Spent some time in the Army in South Carolina (Ft Jackson) and got to know several diehard Gamecock fans. Starting swapping Gamecock with Razorback horror stories and I finally felt I had meet people who understood my pain. Great people 10 out of 10, would recommend.
As a lifetime Gamecock fan I want to be offended...but this is so brilliantly, and correctly, done, that I just enjoyed it immensely. Well done.

South Carolina only got in the SEC because Florida State and Miami wussed out and wanted the easy way to win national championships. If the SEC could hit the rewind button, it would have invited Clemson first.
