The Saban tribute dropped me. Looking after my mom who has Alzheimer's and my one oasis was watching Alabama play. It remided me of the years when my mom was a whole person then.
as much as i hate Alabama i completely understand. My grandpa got to be with me and my family to see the Vols beat them one last time before passing a year ago. it truly does mean more.

I don’t know if anything hits quite as hard as MsState’s loss of Leach last year if you haven’t seen that report card episode. Saban is somber but that was just depressing.
As a Gator fan, we have no Hope. It'd make more sense if the Gators couldn't see Hope, she was invisible to them. I thought that Ole Miss might deserve Hope. They've had great seasons the past few years but they can't beat the big boys.

We KNEW we were witnessing history from the beginning and were able to appreciate it all the way through. As a Bama alum, this past week has been so chaotic - the retirement of Saban, hiring of a new coach, trying to salvage recruits and keep as many as possible out of portal, that I haven’t had a moment to sit back and let it soak in that Saban is really gone. I wonder how much the LSU boosters had to pay the Heisman committee to give it to him, considering LSU went 10-3, lost to both conference rivals and liteweight FSU, and didn't even win the division, much less the conference. Penix's performance was much more impressive and carried his team all the way to the championship game, beat five top 10 ranked teams, and had the highest amount of passing yards of any QB all season. Sports Illustrated even said the committee got it wrong. Even Jalen Milroe and Jaxson Dart had better seasons than Daniels. SMDH.

As a bama fan I ain’t gonna lie the ending was really touching. Coach Saban made Alabama fans grateful and for what all he has done for Tuscaloosa. I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and happened to move before the 2011 tornado and what Nick and Terri Saban accomplished in helping people rebuild homes and bringing hope back to my hometown I’m forever grateful. Thank god I could witness it and cherish it forever. Well done SEC shorts it’s the best tribute ever.
Lifelong Michigan fan here. Just the sight of that hat in the chair got me in the feels. What a Coach. Twas’ a Rose Bowl to remember, but pales in comparison to what Coach Saban did at Alabama. There is no denying that his departure changes the college football landscape substantially, and not just in the SEC. Fair winds, Coach. Go Blue.

As a Gator fan, I say we have no Hope. Hope should have been visible to us but invisible to the Gator. I think a good candidate for Hope is Ole Miss. They have hope for a spectacular season but it doesn't meet the expectations because they can't beat the big boys.

Yea....the Goat hung up his hat and is moving on. We had one of the greatest runs ever and I doubt we will see that type of dominance again. In the 17 seasons he was at Alabama, he took them to the National championship game 9 times....and won 6 of them. I’ll introduce you to some of the students: -That unathletic smart nerdy kid up front, that’s Vandy -That great looking, super popular guy with all the girls around him, that’s Georgia -That other good looking guy with the big black eye that’s crying in the back corner while the other kids pick his backpack clean, that’s Alabama -The ugly scrawny kid next to Georgia who thinks because he got super lucky and won a dodgeball game this year that he’s the same as Georgia now: that’s Missouri -The 3 older looking kids in the back who aren’t paying attention - that’s Auburn, A&M, and Florida (they are going through the grade again because they failed so hard last year, and judging how they’re acting, they’ll likely be here again next year too) -The 3 guys wearing athletic gear throwing the medicine ball back and forth, that’s Ole Miss, LSU, and Tennessee (my kid). Penix's performance was much more impressive and carried his team all the way to the championship game, beat five top 10 ranked teams, and had the highest amount of passing yards of any QB all season. Sports Illustrated even said the committee got it wrong. Even Jalen Milroe and Jaxson Dart had better seasons than Daniels. SMDH.

Very well done. Although I'm a Mizzou grad, I teared up when put Coach Sabens hat on peg. I sent two daughters to Bama. Yep, 6 years worth. So had investment there.

As a bama fan I ain’t gonna lie the ending was really touching. Coach Saban made Alabama fans grateful and for what all he has done for Tuscaloosa. I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa and happened to move before the 2011 tornado and what Nick and Terri Saban accomplished in helping people rebuild homes and bringing hope back to my hometown I’m forever grateful. Thank god I could witness it and cherish it forever. Well done SEC shorts it’s the best tribute ever.

As a Gator fan, I say we have no Hope. Hope should have been visible to us but invisible to the Gator. I think a good candidate for Hope is Ole Miss. They have hope for a spectacular season but it doesn't meet the expectations because they can't beat the big boys.
It was pretty cool to see them talking to each other even though they’re the same person.

Yea....the Goat hung up his hat and is moving on. We had one of the greatest runs ever and I doubt we will see that type of dominance again. In the 17 seasons he was at Alabama, he took them to the National championship game 9 times....and won 6 of them. So long Coach Saban and thank you for the ride...now all the other schools can finally relax 😂 Roll Tide

-That great looking, super popular guy with all the girls around him, that’s Georgia
-That other good looking guy with the big black eye that’s crying in the back corner while the other kids pick his backpack clean, that’s Alabama
-The ugly scrawny kid next to Georgia who thinks because he got super lucky and won a dodgeball game this year that he’s the same as Georgia now: that’s Missouri
-The 3 older looking kids in the back who aren’t paying attention - that’s Auburn, A&M, and Florida (they are going through the grade again because they failed so hard last year, and judging how they’re acting, they’ll likely be here again next year too)
-The 3 guys wearing athletic gear throwing the medicine ball back and forth, that’s Ole Miss, LSU, and Tennessee (my kid). They’re working hard to get on Georgia’s level
