This kinda comes across as a commercial for the bed cover, rack and roof top tent (RTT). With a little bit of effort (a rack made from home depot lumber) a camper shell comes right off with no help, and I find is so much better to sleep in than a RTT, especially in weather like your in. Also, as your truck gets older you should keep spares in it. In my extended cab under the seat, I have a spare belt, pulley's, water pump, power steering pump, alternator and necessary tools and fluids to facilitate a change in the field if necessary. I also keep tire plugs and a 12v air compressor. Much easier and cheaper to fix it, self rescue and keep moving than to call a tow truck. I have the rest of the gear you pointed out as well, a jack/come-along etc, which is great stuff when you need it. Most people just forget to bring spare's to fix the truck and get stuck out in the back country when not if something breaks. Not to mention it's not easy or cheap to find someone to come get you when it breaks down out there.

Beautiful rig! Sometimes regret not getting the bigger cab, but it makes up for it having the 6.5 foot bed. Couldn't find one for the life of me when looking for a new truck!

I keep going back and forth on the decked system/topper or diamondback/rack system. Use for hunting, camping, work, and traveling with family. I couldn’t still use bed for hauling big stuff with decked, but no weather protection for stuff in back of truck unless I use topper then that kills the hauling. Diamond back don’t allow partial bed access. Now that you e had both systems what is your favorite?

How do you like the rooftop tent compared to a traditional tent?

Wish you would do a video of your entire load out. Where you keep everything like coolers, etc. oh, and how you retrieve anything in the front of the bed next to the cab.

@@BeauMartonik makes sense. Also, which hitch hauler do you use? Looking into one for my Yeti 160 but trying to find the best option that can swing out of the way to allow access to the bed without having to unload and reload that beast!!
