With the side mount storage you almost don't need the Decked system. Having an awning on the rack would be almost a necessity, 270° batwing style. RTT on a trailer would be more useful but then you would be towing a trailer.
What about rain, snow, and dust entering the bed area where a guy might have suitcases, tree stands, or items that one doesn’t want wet. Or the roll outs, will rain, snow, or dust get into those drawers where weapons are stored?
I always wondered why people buy trucks then spend all this time and money trying to weatherproof the back when you can just buy and SUV that is already completely covered.
Hi Chris, great build! I'm considering the Decked System for my F150. But, I do prefer to run a canopy shell on my rig for wet climates in OR and WA. Would I still be able to fit a large Yeti cooler (say 210 or 250) on top of the Decked System and still fit under my shell?
Thank you Chris for taking the time to inform us on this great looking product. Will Go Hunt be handling this product. Also what is the price point. God's Blessings to you all
I often have to pull my gooseneck. Would any of this stuff be compatible with a gooseneck trailer? I don’t use them simultaneously, use one or the other.
Gotta do something about those mall crawler’ wheels & tires, hardly any sidewall! :)
Lol I was thinking same thing 😁
Great video great looking gear really changed the look of that truck thanks for sharing!

I went to the website and it said they are not waterproof so dust probably will be even worse
Get a canopy or bed cover instead.
Decked drawers are weatherproof, not the Leitner PODs.

How many and what size coolers are you still able to use with this setup? Thinking about the out of state hunter?
Great question. We had to drag a small trailer to Colorado for 3rd Rifle Elk season.
Would love to see how that bow holder is mounted, seems like a good idea.
Would also love to know where to buy that
$10,000 upgrade in just a couple hours, Vegas really knows how to take your money fast ha.
Looks awesome, I wonder if there would still be room to mount an awning?
Bad ass setup
BRO THAT IS AMAZING!
That is pretty bad ass
IDK...I'd get some thin 3/8" wide weatherstripping to put on those cargo pod lids to keep the dust and moisture out. Doesn't look that weatherproof.

Let me know if you ended up doing this!
Stay tuned guys, Next on the hunting truck build we’re going to get rid of these 20” wheels and install 17s on 33” load range E tires
Nice!! I was looking at those wheels thinking the same thing. I got 285/70r17 Goodyear duratracs on mine their about 33”

Nice setup
I finally upgraded from my Dakota as well!!! The Dakotas are some badass little trucks but their just too old now
What size bed do you have 6’ 6” or the 5’ 9
They make one to fit Jeep gladiator?
What is the total cost for this set-up? I'm guessing $5K minimum. Most likely much more.
More like 10-12
Decked System : $1500
Leitner Designs Rails only: $2000
Leitner Designs accessories: $2500+
Freespirit tent: $3300+
Bare minimum: $9300 before tax, shipping, and extra's
@@billyazzinaro2359 Thanks for the info! Wow, I could buy a lot of hunting gear for $10G. Sweet set-up if you need to stay mobile though.
I wonder if you can get a dirt bike up in there
What happens when you shoot a 400” bull elk?
How much does all that weigh? Id be worried about the impact on payload.
average payload on a halfton is about #1600. I wouldnt worry.
How do I get one of those bow holders
Nice
