  • I'd make a cup of coffee or pick up a red bull before you start this one. But I do go through step-by-painful-step using an example question on how to do a t test including:
    1. How to decide whether or not a t test is appropriate
    2. Calculating mean, variance and t
    3. determining degrees of freedom and critical value
    4. making an appropriate conclusion
    Episode 1: overview of all three tests (how to do statistical tests): • Statistical tests in (...

    Episode 3. How to do a Chi-squared test: • How to do: chi-squared...

    Do the syllabi differ a lot between exam boards? I’m taking CIE A-Levels and I’m having trouble understanding my lecturer in college. However, your videos on respiration and genetics have helped me a lot. Do you think it’s okay to use your videos to study for the CIE spec? Thanks a lot for taking the time to post these videos, by the way. I’m really grateful.

      The exam boards do differ in content, more-so in their exam questions. I would use my videos to understand the key concepts, but use exam board resources such as textbook to make sure I cover all the detail.

      @@LSCBiology Thank you! One more thing please -not very related question. Is there a difference between minute ventilation and ventilation rate ? As far as I understand both of these are calculated the same way (TV*Breathing rate) .

    • @LSCBiology
      @LSCBiology  5 лет назад +1

      They are similar and CAN be the same. But while minute vent is always the volume of air inhaled/exhaled in a minute, the breathing rate can be given per minute or other unit. Also while units of minute vent will only be volume, units of breathing rate will be volume per time.

    Hello sir. I know you don’t have time for all your students+ RUclips students but there’s a question in U6 ( written practical ) in edexcel to write an investigation and I don’t know if my method is worth any marks so I was wondering if you could check it for me ? It’ll take a max of 10 minutes of your time and I’d really appreciate it.
    I could maybe send you the pictures on your email ?
