Too late probably, but nothing like a wet bald head shave with an Arc5. I only do it on Saturday's because it takes a little more time, but man its razor blade quality without the worry of cutting. It's that damn good. I also have a Braun Series 9 and it does great, I like that during the week when I need to really move in the morning. The Panasonic is something else used wet.
@@paulcarlin5181 I had the braun for father's Day last year but I'm keeping an eye on the arc 5. If you tell me it gave you a BBS shave I'm on. Braun good though but it's not BBS
Best results are used with shaving cream when you use the Arc 5. Even without, the Arc's shave closer to the skin than the Braun. I read somewhere to try shaving cream and damn he is right. ALL electric shavers miss some hairs, that is the nature of the best I have come to learn. I keep a Mach 3 for the few hairs they miss. Arc's are not made for more than 2-3 days of growth. Braun's Pro series can handle up to 7. I can personally vouch for 4 days. Shaved it fast face and head. @@JahHallelujah
The Braun series 9 should not leave you any bump but if it does you can grab a round cutton and spray alcohol or tea tree oil you can also use medicated powder just spread it don't need to be visible if you have a serious acne problem you can use cocoa butter Vaseline all that stuff is good for you just try one by one to see which one works for you. 💈

@@elithebarberstudio Hey ELi, I'm thinking of picking up the braun series 9 pro for shaving my face, I've currently got babyliss fx2 (little harsh as a face shaver) and I'm wondering if you think the braun is much different based on your experience? Also, with the coca butter Vaseline, how exactly are you suggesting to use it? I.e while shaving, before, after, etc? And enjoyed the video!
@@cameronbell415 the broun is more sensitive. You can use it wet or dry. You might not need to use any product on your face to prevent any skin reaction but if you still get any redness then apply skin-tight cuz it has tea-tree oil. The cocoa butter vaseline is more for like scratches & spot for faster healing. In my 20 years of Barbering the Braun has been the most sensitive electric shaver in the market i love using the Braun & the warranty is amazing. 1 time I rinse the cleaning chamber & it stop working plus the "ON" button came off i call the Braun company they send me a new one right away.
Love the Braun. You can take the stickers off the cleaner for a classier look.
Thanks for the great detailed review. Looking to pick one up for personal use. Braun should pay you for this review😂🎉
Thank you so much
Taking the plunge on going bald for the first time. Would the Braun be a good pickup, or should I start with just using a razor?
Braun
Check on the panasonic Arc 6 it shave bold BBS
I have the Andis, but I want to add the Braun to my arsenal.😏
I have the Andis & babyliss shaver & ever since I got the serious 9 I never touch Andis & babyliss ever again
Braun Series 7 on other reviews better than Series 9, is that accurate?
I never use the 7 but I heard from one Barber one time that they're both good but the 9 is a little faster it's like a new version of it
Ok u got the detailer and the babyliss trimmer which one is your go to
Babyliss is my #1 then the Datailer #2 & then Slimline #3
@@elithebarberstudio same order except I got the slimline 2nd and then detailer

Both Detailer & Babylis trimmer are about the same quality
False! Over a long periode of time, the Andis Plus is better, ALOT! And the blades on Andis Plus last alot longer than others, with months.
No
@@elithebarberstudio Yes. Do your homework.
@@itstheoldone6866 no
@@itstheoldone6866 I did my homework I experience for myself I use all 3 of them and you can take that to the bank
With the Braun series 9 you can shave up to 0-Half.
You cannot do that with the Andis shaver.
With the Andis shaver you can only shave trimmer length
Which shaves closer the andis or babyliss?
Same
