I agree with Jeannie. She is promoting healthy relationships. She's just saying her husband contributes to her happiness but your happiness shouldn't solely depend on someone else.

It's not healthy to be addicted to another person - especially when your happiness depends on their happiness. I get what Jeannie was saying. People want to be all "you complete me" but in order to live your life to the fullest and be satisfied with yourself and your own choices there needs to be independence.

Tamera acts like she has no identity. With her it’s like I’m a wife and a mom and that’s it. Like I can see Jeanie and Tamar’s own true personalities besides them being wives and that doesn’t mean they don’t love their partners.

To the point I really don't care about hanging with my friends. A great panther is a friend and lover. Where's the problem? Lol. Just never lose your self in loving your lover.

Seriously though, we need to praise women because they know what they want and being single but if you want to be married it's now such a bad thing? Just because you love your husband and want them around doesn't mean you can't be by yourself or do things on your own. 😒

I love tamera and how she really loves her husband because God finally blessed her with someone who is equally yoked as her. Who shares the same values as her. With that being said I want to be at a point that even though I have someone like jeanie stated I want to also be okay even if I don't have them. I don't want my entire happiness based on a man. The man destined for me should be an added ingredient to my happiness not the only thing that makes me happy. Love all the girls input.

They become one but also a strand of three as God is the centre of their relationship , this is the type of relationship you should strive for because when you start to idolise your partner trust me it won't be sweet for long xx

But you're not okay with a healthy relationship where you enjoy each other's company and therefore won't be on the verge of killing yourself IF it's over like so many of these "Love is an addiction" relationships. Don't try to use science unless you know fully of the details regarding brain interactions with commonalities like Love and know truly that those interactions are due to feel good aspects and can be attributed to many other things and not this cause and effect correlation of love and addiction within the brain.....btw know the real definition of what feminism is and not just what society is crapping out to you and if you still don't see the good in it then bless your soul.

Psalms 118:8 - [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.Psalms 118:9-13 - [It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.. Men are humans. putting your complete dependency in your faith in God and the strength His Spirit gives you daily is better than to put your complete dependency in your lover, husband or any men. for just as you are trusting them, they can break that trust because at the end of the day they are not perfect, they are humans. They will make a promise to stay with you and never break your heart over and over again but the same person will be the one to hurt you. Of course, you need them and want them in the way that is stable and not addictive but to be complete addict to them. No---Believe in yourself first and your God and your faith before you believe in another person and gives yourself completely to the point you have no identity and in complete dependence of them.

Omg thank you so much for this. You are a million percent right! I needed to hear this. My boyfriend and I broke up. It's really tough. I've been so depressed. One thing I can say is I solely dependeded on him for my happiness. I was looking to fill that empty void via him. However he broke my heart and kept making false empty promises. I hope I can get through it and rely on god and not man to be happy. I don't love myself or value myself at all. I do need to start praying again. He has moved on and is with another woman. Men are so selfish they get over it so quickly while I'm just weeping away. I hope I can find a real man that knows how to treat me. The way I deserve to be treated and not like a doormat. I hope Karma catches up to him. Sorry for the rant but thank you for saying this statement it has helped me. I love the real Jeannie is a million percent correct. Hope I can be strong like her thank you once again I will ask god for help x

    Poor Tamera.
There is nothing with being in love and being addicted to your spouse...so long as you BOTH are equally in love and addicted to each other. Or the other person at least looks like it.
The sad part is if the spouse breaks your hear or something beyond his/her control happens and he/she has to leave you.
So a combination of Tamera's addiction and Jeannie's "independence" would be good.
I can see Tamera being heart-broken if something happened to Adam.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Tamera. She's a devoted wife and mother! She should not be shamed for that. Isn't it normal for parents to miss their baby(s) while they're at work? I babysit my nephew and when he's not here with me (even if it's for a couple days), I do take out my phone to look at his photos and videos. I believe Tamera when she says she's independent. She just enjoys her husband's company. Nothing wrong with that! I think that makes for a good marriage. I can understand Jeannie's view as well. She doesn't want to put herself in that position of feeling like death if a relationship is over. They're both strong ladies.

no that is a healthy stable relationship. human being are not completely all trustworthy. yes you can trust them as some point but not completely to the point that they become your whole life like a worshiper with their idols. it's a husband, not God. When you trust fully in God, He alone will be the one to sustain you in your marriage, satisfy and complete you. many thoughts marriage will complete them but they still are unhappy, still look for their sense of purpose and the person the thought could help them broke them completely or help but when they are gone, they are lost and broken which it shouldn;t be like that. now I understand you should love, yes love your husband or wife but not to the point you adore them even before the Lord Jesus.

I'm with Jeannie on this. I had a relationship that the guy was so controling that it made me addicted like without even wanting to. I would get panic attacks not talking to him everyday, if he'd get angry for wtv stupide reason I'd go crazy thinking omg he's gonna leave me I'ma die right now. I got closer to my faith and in the end I put an end to the relationship of almost 3 years. I started the same patern with my husband at first cause I was so used to it, but he wasn't the controling type to make you feel guilty about every little thing and I slowly became more independant. We've been married for almost 6 years, we have kids together and we've had lots of ups and downs, but I've never had that feeling of omg he's gonna leave I'm gonna die. If he ever left I'd be sad for sure, but not to the point of not being able to live anymore or anything and God knows how much I love him.

Just because Jeannie is more into her phone than her husband doesn't mean Tamara has a problem. That was her choice, but some people want passionate real love instead of self-adulation.

+tbd You say that like, there is only one type of love or way to be passionate. There's not. Tamara's love for her husband, is NOT more valid, than Jeannie's, or vice versa, point, blank, period. And Jeannie clearly, said she values her independence. There is nothing wrong with wanting a person but not needing them. Tamera just said, she doesn't need her husband, but wants him. So she wasn't even fully disagreeing with Jeannie.

Music and food is my addiction 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I’m a cancer and cancers are just very big on domestic life. That’s Tamara’s one and only love and man. She has no one else to compare him too! That’s what she wanted. Once a cancer is married. Forget it, they are married for life and that’s a beautiful thing. I on the other hand, I don’t need marriage or kids… never wanted it…and I’m never addicted to anyone.
I FEEL what Jeannie is saying. I know during the pandemic, Tamara said her husband and kids were getting on her nerves 😂😂… that’s because she didn’t have to be around them 24/7. Everyone felt like that. I crave solitude. That’s how I get recharged. I can’t be on all the time. I get drained.
When I lived with my ex… I put him out my place. It was deceitful how he moved into my place and we didn’t even talk about it. He just came over like a stray cat one day and never left. Mind you he had his own place, job (he quit) and car and he turned in everything to leech off me. Grown ass 42 year old man. Please!
He wanted someone to take care of him. He thought in his mind that if he moved in, no one else would be with me and it would make the relationship last. How? You ain’t bringing in no money. But anyway I really do hope Tamera and Adam have a long blessed marriage but there a real no Guarantees in life except death and one day we will all return home to God, no matter who goes first. Nobody is getting out here alive. 😁
Tamara being so in love with her husband and kids and life is just blissful, she makes others aspire to want to be married and have a family. On the reality show, Tamara was in therapy because she wanted what her sister had and her therapist told her not to covet that and that it will happen for her one day. She felt she needed these things to complete her.
Marriage was the end goal for her and she got it eventually but not at first. She dumped Adam because he didn’t want to get married. Y’all know the story. But I’m so happy she got what she wanted, her husband, kids and dog, house… flourishing career, degree, money… no one is struggling. Isn’t that the blueprint society lays out? Some follow it, others don’t. I don’t and don’t care to 😁

There is nothing wrong with a healthy great relationship full of love. But there is no one in this world that I can't live without. As long as I have my passion and my faith I will always survive. It's not saying that you love people any less it's just being an adult and realizing at the end of the day you have to love you, have faith in you, trust yourself to be alright. NO ONE else can give you that kind of peace. Thank you Jeannie, now I am certain I'm not crazy lol.

jeannie is very addicted to herself. And honestly how can you tell someone how to love some else. Its all what is best for their own life. If you're fine with having a somewhat detached marriage , whatever, but clearly its not the way Tamera is wanting to love wholeheartedly and that is alright too.

    • @보모
      @보모 8 лет назад +1

That's my take too. If Tamar says something to Jeannie (as she does everyone) comments go up in arms but Jeannie undermines someone it's- approved? Jeannie drools behind other men [black], describes sexless Union or her husband having to be the workhorse, plus wanting her life to remain as it sans children
So it's odd to me that people ate her bit up when she could be viewed as selfish if Tam is "addicted" to her family

  • @ms.sweeteae3899
    @ms.sweeteae3899 8 лет назад +11

I understood what Jeannie meant, by addicted to your husband. Well, this is just my opinion, I lost my husband in 1995 by death and I almost lost my mind. He was my second husband and I didn't know that I loved him that much, but I prayed that God would never keep me from loving someone where I could not do without them. I became very faithful to my faith and then realized that you should not be addicted to no one but God. He is a jealous God and he comes first in my life. I am next when it comes to making myself happy, then my children, because without me being happy and loving myself, I can't love others. One thing that I realized is that God can give you family and he can take them away. I live by myself now and sometimes I get a little lonely, but I just pray and realize I still live. I do love family and they love me and I will continue to be independent until the day that I leave this earth.

Adrienne, you cannot say we are all lying if we say otherwise. Not everyone grew up being 'boy crazy'. I actually think it's weird for those who honestly say they're addicted to their man.

I definitely agree with Jeanie!!! Being attached and obsessive can be very unhealthy in relationship because you just dependent on them for your happiness and like Jeanie said when they end up leaving you and you guys break up your so broken and lost. Pretty much it's good to get your individuality in a relationship.

Yeah, her saying I'm addicted to my independence I was like 😶🤔 idk and her having dreams about him falling for another woman 😅😳 it's weird

You can love someone and still love your independence as well. Addictions aren’t healthy no matter what or who the addiction is to. Its always good to have a healthy balance. I love my man but I love and need my alone time too.

I like that Jeanie said here she's loves him but she's at the point where even if she was separate from him she will be ok, which she was.

+annie parker nobody said it was, but she feels the need to prove or clear up rumors about whether or not she had plastic surgery I would think she should want to clear up rumors about ruining someone's marriage
