I am 45 years old and I got diagnosed nearly 2 years ago. I got told I was just over the line on stage 1. I'm probably a stage 2 now. I don't need oxygen yet. I am currently on carbosistiene tablets and that is it. Is there anything I can do myself to get it out because I am struggling?
Is having emphysema stage 1 bad ? Is it curable

hey jay jay, stage 1 is manageable but not curable, its a progressive disease as long as you quit smoking now you should be able to manage it
I had been a non smoker for 34 years. Now on Oxygen 24/7.
On no love. That's tragic. I wonder if it is hereditry?
