- ATLANTIC RIM - why, just... why.
Much has been said about this Pacific Rim knock off, and with good reason, but this is my first watch of this masterpiece. Is it a parody? Is it just a shameless carbon copy? Is it even watchable at all?
I'm all up for giant robots taking on massive kaiju, but honestly, it's not the lack of budget that's the biggest problem here.

Been watching some of your older videos recently but what's even better about the weird headset with the two blinking lights is that those are used for nighttime frisbee, they come with a frisbee covered in some reflective tape so you can it when it's darker outside. Me and my brother used to have them a while ago 😂

the idea of having no head because the pilots are in the chest is further noticed when you take for example, cherno alpha. like he has no head like sure he has the reactor but like
I like the Monster Design and Color Pattern of it, even the Basic Shape of the Mech's is nice (not the Head)
Unfortunatly the Characters are judt so unbearable and/or boring.
Will there be a Review on the Sequel ?

Question: have you seen any Gundam anime? Most Gundam mechs has the pilots in the torso like in Gundam OO and Gundam IBO. But seeing some clips and screenshots of this movie looks bad.

@@MrNormalPerson I do recommend Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. Its on Netflix. Its really good. It is also one of my “what do I recommend to an non-anime watcher” anime.

They might be so similar because they wouldn't really have much reason to make the cockpits of these things look very different, after all why makes them unique when you can make multiple of them on an assembly line, once this gets approved to be more mainstream it would be a lot easier to make more of them by putting them on in assembly line instead of having the workers make everything by hand customized. Also the colors might be there so that the pilots will have a color that they prefer, also if they were in the head of something that was fighting a bunch of animals, humans at least will Target the head and I guess the chest too, vital areas, who's to say this is not apply to the animals that were secretly being kept oh, and these are a contingency plan for if things go awry, explosions would have a lot of collateral damage, bullets might just be too tiny to do diddly-squat for an animal so gargantuan, and let's be honest with how big they are and how fast they are for their size do you really think anyone's going to lock on with anything other than a guided missile, and besides the robots are what would probably be a decent way for the country to basically perform a flex on the other country and their military. And if these animals were targeting the chest, it works out in the end, the head is also not very stable because if in Bend as well, but the traffic is more stable, more protective, the chest is also more easy to protect because the arms are literally mounted to it, but that's debatable, I got the operators would want to use a headless human robot, and it could serve as a decoy, this actually has strategic Merit, and if we could build a giant machine such size and they wouldn't destroy themselves like that rail gun the military has over in the United States, oh boy, there would be rail gun mounted mechanized Giants. After all they don't cost the same Fallout has a nuke, they could potentially do the same damage but that depends I have them back in particular is filled, the railgun is very powerful but in the real world it damages itself every single time that it shoots, the giant machines would be covered in metal, probably the same stuff that's used for tanks, so they would be very honored, if they move like we see in fiction then they would be efficient transport regarding speed, they're fast armored vehicles with a real gun that can go through several nights of Steel that are like 6 inches thick, of course we would have those, make its dual wield those railgun, it would be epic, technically practical, and international Flex of military might, probably an effective deterrent, and if another micro to be dropped in the city this would probably be the best option besides a real gun mounted elsewhere, but why would mount it there, moving it with the Mech would be much more efficient. And who knows having a giant Mech on standby might improve the morale of the people in whatever branch of the military this thing is on.
Making these type of movies should be punishable by death

The one decent idea in the movie was putting the pilot's in the chest, there's no reason to keep the head as an obvious weakness when the humans could be kept safter in the armored, center of mass. A better movie should steal it

I take back that "ruin everything we touch" comment from before. But I still stand by everything else. Humans are monsters with wasted potential. We can do so much good but NO let's just waste it on this crap. The last sentence was sarcastic btw.
But yes. Even humans can use their power for good. It just takes effort and humility.
