Asylum Films is at it again with an awful Pacific Rim rip off. Can YOU survive the awful awfulness of this awful film? I sure didn't.

This movie stole my dreams of Guillermo del Torodoing an actual Atlantic Rim, where we'd have European, Canadian, and US Jaegers fighting Kaiju. One that comes to mind would look like a British knight. Ideally, Mako Mori would also be the lead protagonists. Meh, at least he's still going to make a sequel to Pacific Rim and hopefully Hell Boy 3.

That's my favorite part... It's a really weird movie, I think its actually attempting to be a scathing critique of these sorts of mass casualty giant monster films that ignore the undertones, the main character is sort of a violent asshole with anger problems. The girl and black guy seem to be having a potential relationship built on maybe something more than just 'whose the sexiest'.... and then at the end the asshole dude saves the day and gets the girl and they roll credits... never failing to pan across a field of dead bodies moments after our heroes high five and sprint off to the victory bar... so yeah, scathing critique... just made by someone to incompetent to critique anything.
This film was shot in my city... :/

the end kinda seems like the ending from the avengers, iron man takes the nuke to the portal to the universe and blows it up.
the same happens in pacific rim.

i watched this like three months ago, sober. I almost had a stroke laughing. Now I'm watching it with a few beers in me. I probably won't survive.

I just watched it on the latest season of mystery science theater while drunk off my ass. I had to pause several times to catch my breath. I think it makes a hard charge at The Room for being the best bad movie ever.
the "who is this guy" is actually tred from naughty by nature... he was once a famous rapper...

What's actually even funnier is that some of the footage of beach goers got recycled and wound up in another sci-fi original (3 Headed Shark Attack I think). And the extras having fun on the beach are also the soldiers on the beach in the scene right afterwards.

The sub was not at the bottom, it was most likely the monster and they thought it was the ocean floor, one of them said “we are already at the ocean floor” or something like that
The way he described fighting the monster reminds me of how 8 year old's talk about things they think are cool

Isn't this clearly copyright infringement? The whole point of the production seems to be to cause audience confusion by implying a connection to PR and to dilute the brand. What legal theory could possibly justify this?

I was in the beginning of this film on that oil rig. I sadly die in the explosion. This was a blast to be a part of even though it did not get great reviews. lol
The robots that they were sitting in, it was actually a small plane cockpit and they are sitting on the center console. LOL. That's why they cant strap in or stand. What an abomination movie
