I can see this happening. Dan and Arin and Jim appear live in Wheel of Fortune and both keep getting bankrupt and losing turns respectively while cussing on national T.V. And Jim keeps giving mostly wrong answers. I'd watch that episode all day long.

A little late on the response, but there is indeed an episode where the wheel rolled four bankrupts in a row, and a lose a turn right before and right after that nightmare.
The host's response after the third bankrupt: "Well folks, bad news is there's no money on the board, but the good news is everyone is tied for the lead."
After the fourth: "...This has GOT to stop."
All of Dan's turns would be edited out for time....
I just want to point out that the chances of Dan landing on lose a turn 4 times in a row like he did is 1/ 330 000
Orange flavored Bleach There are 24 total spots on the board, and only 1 is lose a turn. So (assuming each spot has an equal percentage chance of being landed on) each spin there is a 1/24 chance of landing on lose a turn. To land on 2 lose a turn spaces in a row is 1/24 x 1/24, which is 1/576. So, to land on 4 lose a turn spots in a row is 1/24 x 1/24 x 1/24 x 1/24 which = 1/331 776. Its genuinely incredible it managed to happen to him. There's around 6000 total episodes of wheel of fortune in America, which multiplied by 3 is 18000 total players. That means, statistically, there would need to be 18 times as many wheel of fortune episodes for this to happen just once to an actual player (it may have already happened, I just mean to match the odds) and yet Dan managed to do it one of his first times playing the wii game.

I know this is an older comment, but I love coming back to this. I looked it up, no one, no one ever in Wheel of Fortune history (which is forever) has had as bad of luck as Arin and Dan on this show. The most consecutive Lose A Turn's is 2 >.> lol

The odds of Arin getting three Bankrupts and Danny getting FOUR Lose a Turns.
THE ODDS.
If the selection was completely random, there would be a 1/24 chance in getting "Lose a Turn" on each spin. Compounding this to four times in a row ends up being about a 0.0003% chance. In other words, 3 in a million. Within a single digit multiple of a legitimate one in a million chance. This is made even more remarkable by Arin landing on "Bankrupt" three times IN THE SAME GAME as Dan's escapade, albeit not right in a row.
Of course, the selection is not completely random, it is influenced by how hard the wheel is spun (and there may be other factors in the game at work). This affects the probability in ways unknown to me, but still. Holy shit.

Edgar Adrian I've seen it even happen on the real show to people who keep spinning with the exact same amount of force, and unluckily for them right before their turn the wheel kept landing right around the same spot.

The chances of Dan getting 3 consecutive Lose a Turn spins, assuming the game gives an equal chance value to all tiles is 1/13824 the fourth brings that number to 1/331776. That is just wrong, although the first two appeared to be based on those weak ass spins.
Since the wheel spin is based on holding the spin button, it really depends on how precise the power bar is programmed. If that's the case, then Arin's spins and the computer's spins have to be taken into account to calculate the chance of getting four lose a turns in a row, pushing the probability much lower, I think.

Assuming the game isn't running on a very unfair algorithm, The odds of landing on the same slice of the wheel four times in a row as Dan did, are 1 in 331,776.
I have a theory. Maybe they were playing the game on an emulator, which they had just installed and run for the first time, so the RNG wasn't initialized, and for some reason the developers set it up so that when the game is run in that state, you get nothing but lose a turns and bankrupts, because at some point they had to test those. And then they just left the code in because, come on, who's gonna flash the bios on their games consoles!?
Warp Zone no the probability is significantly lower because of the power meter. Dan spun it at around the same power and it just happened to be about 2 and 1/6 spins away every time he didn’t vary his spins

What happened is that Arin kept hitting Bankrupt and Dan spun the wheel the exact same strength every time, which kind-of makes this whole thing so much better to me, lol. It's all literally Arin's bad luck and Dan's bad judgement and Dan't the one getting angry XD

Pat was never in a Wheel of Fortune game until the Wii version came out on November 2, 2010, and the reason why was that despite his celebrity status, he had kids, and he didn't want his kids to ask why their dad was on a box. He wanted his family to be as normal as possible. By 2010, his kids had become old enough to understand. Sadly, the Wii version, Pat's first Wheel of Fortune game, would also be announcer Charlie O'Donnell's last as he died the day before the Wii version was released.

At the same time, I don't recall ever seeing him on billboards and banners (wherever these banners are), but as for the trains and buses having his picture on them, it probably wouldn't been as easy for his kids to see since they're not as common to see as a video game or board game on store shelves.
And that game was way better than this one. It was so much more polished, and felt more exciting.

Aside from this being one of the funniest Game Grumps episodes to date, I just wanted to say how that frame-buffer-blur they use so strongly in this game was SUCH a staple of the Playstation 2. It was overused and abused by so many games because it was a new filter to make the game look....... more.... real? I guess? MGS2, Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City were also games to use this effect as a basis of its visual style.
