The company that made this game also did Trixie in Toyland / Ninja Bread Man. They also re-skinned this game from Myth Makers: Super Kart GP, which features Trixie. It would be the ultimate mindfuck / crossover.

To be fair that wasn’t the cause of his demise. My friend has this game and you need to be pretty close to the wii because it starts shaking sooner than other (more stable) games. The same reason the cursor will shake about when you’re too far from the sensor. Arin probably sat a bit closer to the sensor and had more control. Danny had the signature “too far from the wii” wobble when he tried to drive straight. But I’m glad it happened because it made Dan’s Battle Kid an iconic GG video :)

This could very well be one of the worst instances of level design I have ever seen. Why on earth did they make a race course so much like an actual school building? Why are there so many dead end hallways, and tiny details that just get in the way and cause the drivers to get stuck? Why would they include actual doors that open and close in a racing game, they add absolutely nothing to the game and just cause more confusion on where you're supposed to go. It's like they were making a level for a completely different game, then halfway through development someone was like "Oh btw, you're making a race course!" and instead of changing the course they just added arrows and called it a day.
This game seems to rely on prior knowledge as a main mechanic. However, the other levels are somewhat better designed While the environment does tend to get in the way, and they clearly didn’t think about the sensitivity of the turn controls, the others give wider tracks with fewer dead ends
They put two of those nitro flowers down a narrow dead end next to the stairs. So you have to get them, then _back up_ and get back onto the course. Every so often, you get these games where you're genuinely not sure if the people who made them even knew what video games are.

I mean, c'mon, drift mechanics are just slide-y mechanics anyway, right? If we make everything slide-y, that solves everything!" I played the game with Alexis [Insert Last Name Here], my little cousin. It's the most broken thing that I've ever played. Alexis was 7 at the time. Pretty young, but still smart enough to know a bad game when she saw and played one. The first time she ran through what should have obviously been a solid brick wall here, she asked me, "J-J, where am I? I jus' went pass a wall." And that's in her exact words. The reason, in no way how I explained it to her, is because, "This game is SHIT!". Duh. Once you're old enough to read this, Lexie, you'll understand. I'm sorry I couldn't say it now. Your Mom, my aunt, would slap the shit out of me. This game is bad.

After a little Long John Silver's and a few really good laughs, I am *so* gload to be alive, because every so often, the Game Grumps will give us fucking solid 24K comedic GOLD like this episode. If your suicidal thoughts can be remedied by Game Grumps you're likely not so much depressed as you are out of control of your emotional state. Game Grumps is awesome but that's not enough to shake you out of suicidal thoughts and feelings. Seek therapy because you're likely unable to calm yourself and so swing between different but extreme moods.

Does anyone else notice that stuff that is made "for girls" such as TV shows, movies, video games, etc are *usually* very low quality, and filled with lame feminine stereotypes, such as hearts, rainbows, ponies, princesses, etc? It's like the people who make these crappy movies and games and stuff expect girls to settle with low quality entertainment, as long as it's plastered with pink sprinkles. I kinda get the vibe that women aren't even involved in making these, and it's just a bunch of men who add things that they think girls like, but don't actually know what girls like.

She's open minded and if she likes it she likes it, but if she doesn't she doesn't. Rinku - The Hero of Time My sister when she was little used to play with barbie and ken dolls and stuffed animals and I'd used to play with her (I was young too and not the barbies either) and she'll play video games with me like Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Strikers, Kirby Air Ride, Sonic, Pokemon etc. Now that we're both old (I'm 18 and she's 15 atm) we "grew" out of those toys ages ago (who still plays at those ages) and she'll be on her electronics while I play video games and be on my laptop.
I lost it until my sides ached at 8:45...yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how doors work, opening like a cat flap...that's perfect. Jesus H Crackers, I know it's a given that games whose sole purpose is "Look! Girly things! Makeup! Boys! Prom! GIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRLLLZ!" are going to be garbage, but this is the cream of the putrid crop. Everybody with a vagina is now sadder because of this games existence I assure you. Arin better be proud of his victory; being able to complete this glitchy torture in under 10 minutes is a feat in and of itself. Plus major respect to Danny living up to his "Not so grump" title by still laughing his ass off at the most frustrating thing in the history of man, or woman as the case may be. If that were me I would have torn the Wiimote in half with my teeth after lap one.
Yeah, Danny deserves props for being able to actually finish a race. I think Vinny put it best when describing this game's controls. "I've never, in my years of gaming, thought I would experience a game that is both too sensitive AND unresponsive."
This whole game just feels like the build up from one of those haunted game creepy-pastas. Y'know, the part where everything is glitching and broken before all hell breaks loose. Then again, I'm pretty sure nothing would *want* to haunt this game.
There's... A lot about this episode that I love. But I want to point out something about the opening title art. If you look at the black woman (girl? age unclear im assuming adults for all of them) that Dan calls the Disco Queen, her earrings are like. Approximately where earrings should be, so you don't even really register that they appear to be attached to like... what I can only describe as a thin rope of ear? 'cause its the same colour as her skin, so they put the earrings in the right place then just, put the ears too high? Or more likely put the ears really high up, then realized the earrings would draw attention to how high up her ears are (her earrings would be at eye level at that point, just picture that) so they just. stretched a bit of her ear down. I figured I could comment about all the other things but many other comments have already said something about that stuff, and I needed to point out the ears to someone before I went crazy.
I can't tell if when they drive through walls its a shortcut, or just a complete glitchy mess of randomly forgotten collision detectors. This is hilarious

Yep, there is no doubt about it: This is a Student game project. This is the result of the mismatched leftover introverts being forced together by the teacher because they refused to proactively pair up with other classmates. They all flipped their apathy switches to the on setting, but the one over ambitious one that didn't get that memo, because she/he was out on group formation day, decided "hey lets make a full game" and through force of charisma, motivated his/her group to work, but only vaguely together. That is the only explanation for this, it explains so much, Why the cover art looks decent (posibly the only good artist among them.) but the in game selection art and avatars look ridiculous, why the models so bizarrely mismatches the art, why the course literarly changes in quality every section, and why the programing is atrocious. (The programing students went to group A,B, & C of course.) and why the sound mixing is ass.
Actually it's just shovelware made by the same assholes that made ninja bread man and trixie in toy land so they could make some easy money with little effort.

"Real" racing games are just kinda boring. Kart games are fun and lively, and great for multiplayer. I don't entirely agree that kart games are a joke. They're just fun for different reasons. I mean, every now and again, when I want a mindless shooter, I'll play COD and have a good time. (Not to say that Kart games are mindless. If anything, regular racing games are more mindless and tedious, as there are no pickups, abilities, etc.)

Meanwhile the comment section for Game Grumps feels like a gathering place for gross, douchebaggy 16 year old dudes trying way too hard to sound smart and complaining about literally anything. Why would they include actual doors that open and close in a racing game, they add absolutely nothing to the game and just cause more confusion on where you're supposed to go. It's like they were making a level for a completely different game, then halfway through development someone was like "Oh btw, you're making a race course!" and instead of changing the course they just added arrows and called it a day.
This game seems to rely on prior knowledge as a main mechanic.
However, the other levels are somewhat better designed
While the environment does tend to get in the way, and they clearly didn’t think about the sensitivity of the turn controls, the others give wider tracks with fewer dead ends

They put two of those nitro flowers down a narrow dead end next to the stairs. So you have to get them, then _back up_ and get back onto the course.

Sonic Boom is a mess of absolutely intense proportions, but at least you could conceivably play it from start-to-finish (even easier if you know the Knuckles cheat).
This travesty of a game though... I've never seen controls this poor. It's like the designers thought to themselves, "Hey, let's make the ground, you know, the shit you're supposed to stand and walk on, out of buttered and lubricated ice! That way everyone would slide around everywhere! If we did that, we wouldn't need to include actual drift mechanics in the game, right?! I mean, c'mon, drift mechanics are just slide-y mechanics anyway, right? If we make everything slide-y, that solves everything!"
I played the game with Alexis [Insert Last Name Here], my little cousin. It's the most broken thing that I've ever played. Alexis was 7 at the time. Pretty young, but still smart enough to know a bad game when she saw and played one. The first time she ran through what should have obviously been a solid brick wall here, she asked me, "J-J, where am I? I jus' went pass a wall." And that's in her exact words.
The reason, in no way how I explained it to her, is because, "This game is SHIT!".

Does anyone else notice that stuff that is made "for girls" such as TV shows, movies, video games, etc are *usually* very low quality, and filled with lame feminine stereotypes, such as hearts, rainbows, ponies, princesses, etc? There's... A lot about this episode that I love. But I want to point out something about the opening title art. If you look at the black woman (girl? age unclear im assuming adults for all of them) that Dan calls the Disco Queen, her earrings are like. Approximately where earrings should be, so you don't even really register that they appear to be attached to like... what I can only describe as a thin rope of ear? 'cause its the same colour as her skin, so they put the earrings in the right place then just, put the ears too high? Or more likely put the ears really high up, then realized the earrings would draw attention to how high up her ears are (her earrings would be at eye level at that point, just picture that) so they just. stretched a bit of her ear down.
I figured I could comment about all the other things but many other comments have already said something about that stuff, and I needed to point out the ears to someone before I went crazy.

Yep, there is no doubt about it: This is a Student game project.
This is the result of the mismatched leftover introverts being forced together by the teacher because they refused to proactively pair up with other classmates. They all flipped their apathy switches to the on setting, but the one over ambitious one that didn't get that memo, because she/he was out on group formation day, decided "hey lets make a full game" and through force of charisma, motivated his/her group to work, but only vaguely together.
That is the only explanation for this, it explains so much, Why the cover art looks decent (posibly the only good artist among them.) but the in game selection art and avatars look ridiculous, why the models so bizarrely mismatches the art, why the course literarly changes in quality every section, and why the programing is
atrocious. (The programing students went to group A,B, & C of course.)
and why the sound mixing is ass.

If anything, regular racing games are more mindless and tedious, as there are no pickups, abilities, etc.)
