What a lovely long chat! I'm working my way through your older videos. I just got to December 2019 in Feb of 2024. How much water has gone under the bridge since then! I began watching craft related videos during lock-down and found yours through a video that Arne and Carlos did. For those of us who are immunocompromised, it's been a challenge to find ways to feel connected when we still need to be careful, whenever the viral readings go up. I don't know whether you get notices of comments on such old posts, but I do want to thank you for all the videos you did. They've been such a treasure whenever I've had to restrict my exposure to other people. In December 2019, none of us had a clue what was coming. How lucky that people like you were already making a library of videos for us to check out!
Norma is SURE you are talking to her, and is telling you everything is OK with her--just reassuring you with her presence. Because usually the house is rather quiet, unless you are talking to HER, right? "Really mum, I'm right here, everything's OK, no need to worry...but you keep talking to me..., so yes mum, here I is..." such a sweet kit.
I love this chat. My friend passed this past June and we did a lot of sewing and crafting when she was well.I am listening to you while I sew some curtains and I thinking of her. I want to thank you for all of these videos. This video makes me feel like I’m visiting with a my friend and having some tea. Thank you.
So sorry for your loss my dear. And I know what you mean about Kate being like visiting a friend. I consider her a friend. And so all of the rest on the LGS…..
It's lovely sitting here chain stitching quilt pieces together while listening to this video, because it feels like I'm not sitting alone in a room surrounded by fabric and cats. I mean I am, but I'm not alone 😂😸😂
How clever that you thought of that, Judy. 3 generations of talented sewists/artists. I wonder if the love and appreciation of natural textiles will be ignited in Baby Agnes by all the creativity of her foremothers.
@@judychandler5822 just when you wonder as a parent whether your kids learned anything you tried teaching them, all of the sudden they have children of their own and you start seeing them doing the things you taught them. Nothing more satisfying!!😁😁
Kate.. I’m watching your video posted 4 years ago for the first time ! My heart is full of joy this morning listening to you! When you share your heart with such enthusiasm for all your everyday activities .. it makes me excited to cherish my own life. Like you, There is so much I want to accomplish. I wish there was more time to do it! However, I’ll not get down about it, I’ll just keep at it! Hopefully as joyfully as you do it. Lots of love from the USA!
I use a small teaspoon (demitasse or souvenir spoon). to catch the tip of the quilting pins. Much faster and less mussing of the quilt. Arne and Carlos to thank for finding you! I am now a fan, from Connecticut, USA. Thanks for all you do!
I am newly retired from teaching. Yay! Now I can finally live your life! Crafting, quilting, sewing, and gardening. It has been much too long. You are my inspiration! Thank you! xo
I like that Kate....How hard can it be? Have a go! Also, I know what you mean about getting in the slower lane now. Sometimes I can’t even get myself out of the back lane! I love my sewing and being creative! I think it’s a type of therapy, especially in this modern world! That’s why it’s so good to watch and listen to you. Thank you. 😄🌈
Another comment. My mother also did many crafts, ie. Sewing, knitting, crochet, macrame, painting. She basically loved anything to do with textiles. She even loved doing laundry, and actually liked to iron clothes! One thing I remember clearly...when Mother was sewing she would often put the needles and pins in her clothing. You had to be very careful about hugging her...it could be a painful experience with all of those sharp things protruding. Actually a happy memory!🙄😏🙂
Thank you! What a lovely way to spend a morning! I felt like we were together ! Norma is lovely, my Little Pus has been asleep on my lap while I stitched! Hope you got through covid ok. Cheers from Melrose 🇦🇺
Again binge watching old videos….. I have to say that I love the days when you’re just going for something you’ve not tried before. I’m just learning to felt. Wet felted a scarf once in a class with my dear friend Esther; but this was a class felting Christmas ornaments. Very fun. Been trying to learn watercolor painting at our local art studio….quite fun and frustrating 😂. But now I want to try “painting “ with felt. Several tutorials later I’m diving in. Love chatting.💕
I love what you said about “making a choice to drive in the slow lane”. When I turned 60 3 years ago. I purposefully got out of the fast lane and allowed everything to take longer. What a relief!!!!!!🫶🏼
Loved this long, slow, chatty video - answering questions about past projects, general philosophical musings, tips and tricks. Norma needs subtitles. Some of the looks she gives the camera are just hilarious. Is there something soft and cozy in the basket that would encourage her to stay? DON”T watch the modern Grinch with Jim Carey! Watch the 1966 cartoon with Boris Karloff voicing the Grinch. It plays every December here in the States. Maybe not in the UK - streaming somewhere? You’re a storyteller. I think you’d love the non-consumerism message! Or better yet, just get the original book by Dr. Suess out of the library. Something to read Agnes at future holidays. Anyway, love your channel over here in Salem, Massachusetts. What an antidote to so much cultural crazy. P.S. Sorry about your elections. Believe me, I sympathize! I sure hope it teaches us across the pond what we need to do to changes things here next fall.
Kate...you are not afraid to try...also, you are so free with your creative ventures...and bless you that you live in the slow lane now and are enjoying the journey...I want to slow down....happy 2024
I am inspired by your videos. I've done some house cleaning, resting, and been inspired by your video. God bless you and all who help you share these wonderful techniques.
New viewer, just found you. I am in Southeast of the USA enjoying watching you with the baking and quilting. Thinking how nice it would be to be with you learning so much about felting, listening to you explain what you are doing . I love Agnes quilt made by her grandmother. Norma is yout supervisor, so sweet. Anna seems like a lovely young lady. Looking forward to seeing you again .🎄🍭♥️
I absolutely LOVED this little chat! I chuckled when you said that you'd moved over into the slow lane. There's a lot to be said about the slow lane or even getting off the highway all together. I much prefer the slower pace of life. A video a day is quite the undertaking! Know that the hard work of you and your team are very much appreciated! I appreciate you, Kate. I have tried new things because of you. Thank you! Sending love! ❤️❤️❤️
There is a lot of laughter in your house, and this is so enjoyable to watch: you laughing over your own thoughts or mishaps, over a clumsy cat, between you and your family members. Your videos are medicine in this hectic time. Thanks for the new fill of my prescription.
Hi. I am making a journal and watching you quilt , I laughed so hard when your cat fell of the table. You are very interesting and I love to watch you. Anna is very sweet, I would love to have her for a friend. Thank you for showing us so many things.take care. 😊 ❤ Linda Wilde
As I have been getting myself into hand quilting (thanks to you Kate😍) some of your older posts have been my companion, especially some of the "chatty" ones where you read our answers and chat away with all of us on the lime green sofa. It is always such a happy experience for me because I absolutely love all the projects you are involved in. I have sashiko, sock knitting, hand quilting a log cabin quilt, and mending my hubby's jeans with boro sashiko all in my baskets. My motto these days are to do things that make me happy because I am not a spring chicken anymore and I have so many things I still want to do. I am waiting to see your lovely cabin and pond when Spring comes around.
I LOVED this vlog. Granted, I had to break it into 3 parts to see it all, lol, because I was at work today. This was the best lunch-break, coffee- break, get home and kick-your-shoes-off break that I have had in a long time. Bravo! Thankyou so much for sharing!😍
I loved this video. I always particularly enjoy your long chatty ones. Your "give-it-a-go" spirit makes me smile. I have that saying, "She thought she could, so she did." on my sewing room wall. All we can do is give it a go and keep going! I'm so thankful I found your channel. Several moments were really touching and tears burned at the back of my eyes. Thank you for being you.
I have a small journal that has that saying on the cover. I saw it in the bookstore when I was particularly down and defeated, worn down from years of caring for aging parents while working and caring for my own family. I felt like it spoke only to me! I purchased it and began working to prepare a quilting room I'd been dreaming about for years. After some preliminary organizing back last October I jumped into the deep end of the pool and am currently working on my third quilt/throw. I pieced the first block, which measured 19-1/2" square, took a picture and sent it to a co-worker to see. He texted me back and said the block had 77 pieces and that I was nuts! I laughed and laughed, thinking "I didn't need to KNOW it had that many pieces!!" This throw will be the biggest of the three. Now I'm working up the nerve to machine quilt all of them so I can manage to finish them in my lifetime. I love hand quilting but I am slow at it. I'll just have a go at it and see what happens!
@@patpoythress2254 "I'll just have a go at it and see what happens!" and keep going on after that! Keep thinking you can. For me, there's joy in giving something a go no matter what the end product looks like. It's kind of an analogy for life... it's the journey not the destination that's important.
cyndi wall Same! Sometimes I feel like I've known her all my life, we have so much in common. Kate's lovely personality attracts viewers who seem like such nice people too, I find myself having lots in common with many people who post a comment.
Kate, wanted you to know that your channel was recommended from Ganna months ago. since then, i wanted to thank you for filling the void in my soul...i was very very close to my gram as we shared your interests and after losing her in 2013...you have made me feel joy when you pop up a podcast.."just give it ago, how hard can it be" made me smile...thank you, hugs from Truro, Nova Scotia,Canada...cheers
When I see you have posted a new video, it's time to make a cup of tea, sit down and have a friendly chat. You feel like I am sitting across the table from a friend and in a world that is getting less friendly and everyone is too busy to care, you make it a better place by just being you. I think that is why a lot of comments are just like mine, your homely house is a safe haven for lots of us where we can learn different things, share your day and feel welcome. Don't change a thing. Thank you so much.
I am older than you but come from people who did not do any of the things you do and those that I do. That said you have made me happy to start all kinds of prodjects that I had wanted but did not know how. I am so thankful for your time and encouragement. Thank you.
February 6 2024 Maryland USA: As you can see I am once again enjoying video’s from years ago. Today I received my order from your shop of the love EPP for a cushion. The colors are beautiful and material that my granddaughter, 20 years old, saw with her eyes so wide open! I knew right away this was for her. She is so very creative, artist since she was so little. To an eye for color. The kit with a lovely muslin type of bag I am planning to embroider a drawing of hers on and gift to her. Her brother is 16 years old and want a blue one. With three grandchildren, 4 years old and the older ones are brother and sister I am making three special type of heirloom chests for their makes. I am positive that they will visit it while I am putting it together. Kate, please never apologize for not responding to all the comments. We are so grateful with your time and talents you share. Oh the tree house I showed the video to my granddaughter. If we lived there she would be there visiting daily. Probably curled up reading or drawing. For now you have another friend on the green lime sofa.
I have loved listening and watching this in January 2024. Thank you so much for being such good company. I live on my own and have decided to have a go at hexagon quilting. I have no experience and no sewing machine but my Mum used to quilt. I am 70 by the way and live with my little dog, Poppy. Love Sally

I have recently found your channel on RUclips , it's 10-13-2024. I really enjoy watching it gives me comfort, my mother was a big sewer of anything she thought people might like for the local farmers market.
There's a high tolerance for long, chatty videos here! I crafted away the afternoon with you... It felt like we were Skyping except my computer's microphone was broken haha. Lovely to see Anna! Two videos a day is supremely ambitious. You're doing a marvelous job, both of you.
aww that was so lovely and fabulous to see Anna and hear a little of what goes on behind the screens, Thank you, Anna and everyone,, We love all the cats but I suppose Norma is always the one we ask about as she is there as soon as you say ''hello youtube friends :) bless her , and the sweet oppies a daisy she had in this video bless her, She loves cuddling up as close to you as she can, Cats know kind souls when they see them, I am sat with a cup of cinnamon and orange tea and a treat of some milk chocolate biscuits that I am dunking in the cinnamon tea,The flavour is really brought out by dunking the biscuits ::) Have a beautiful sleep and a beautiful Monday Kate, thank you so much see you tomorrow x x x x x
Two years later I'm reading this. I should have been on the lime green sofa two years ago, perhaps you would have shared...the combination sounds interesting. I clicked on the video thinking she would say what happened to Norma. Then I saw it was 2 years ago December 8th. Nice to see Norma in this all healthy.
When I watch your videos its like visiting with you. I love your sense of humor, adventure, creativity, and curiosity. As I was watching your chat and quilting Agnes's play blanket, my cat Kisses noticed Norma on the screen. She positioned herself so she had a front row seat to watch. What wonderful visit and thank you for sharing! I also love watching Norma and laugh at her attention seeking antics.
I’ve move off the main road too. My degree and following career was in science and applying that in public service although I loved arts at school but filled the science route. Now I’m retired, I am following my artistic inclinations. I’m now a watercolourist, enthusiastic cook, baker, and knitter. I used to do embroidery and photography when I was younger. And like you I’m now trying all different types of crafts and it’s great fun. Jewellery making, kumihimo, soap, candles, leaded glass windows, glass painting, Christmas wreaths etc you name it I’ll try it 👍🏻 One thing I’ve never tried is quilting - do you run courses? I’ve watched your quilting endeavours avidly and would love to learn.
Ohhh poor Norma!! 🙀😮 You should've seen her face going down! Lol great video Kate 💖 I have made a pecan pie with maple syrup, a banana & walnut cake, and I'm in the middle of doing Christmas puds....but I forgot to get mixed spice....and there isn't any in the cupboard! Darn it 😣😭
Spray basting quilt layers works very nicely. I do pin as well, but the spray keeps the inbetween in control. I like VERY fluffy middles, so spray the backing, lay the middle and spray it, and then lay the top over all. I roll both ends in a new piece of lumber and stand the whole thing in the corner when I'm doing something else. To stitch the quilting, I unroll just enough to reach and put it over the sofa arms. I just finished the bindings, ready to sign the back. One each for Granddtr & Grandson for Christmas (2021) Pattern is "Tabby Weave", 32 cats each woven under/over each other. The kids are weavers and love cats so its perfect. 64 different colors of cats for the pair. It took a year for the both of them. Buttons for eyes to top them off. I wish I could send you pictures. I do love how Norma helps you with everything you do. ))))
So enjoyed your video, Norma was so enjoyable as well as your quilt and mom talk. Norma falling made me laugh, so sorry about her passing. She was a joy to have in the videos at the time she was with you 🤗. Thank you for sharing all of what you do, tutorials, the traveling sites, etc. So relaxing. Look forward to the next ones, happy quilting/crafting!
I just happened upon you on you tube awhile ago....I have fallen in love with you and everything you work on and talk about....this is the first time I have found where to leave my comments.....I'm 63yrs old, full.of arthritis and can't work anymore so I knit, crochet, and piece quilt tops.....love, hugs, and prayers to you ❤ 🤗🙏
What a wonderful chat, I'm thinking about Norma and what she was thinking through all the moves back and forth about the table and what her comments would be... like Kate, seriously not funny stuff when I fell on the floor don't you think we should edit that? Norma is your most constant companion and such a love to see her stand up beside you and gaze so lovingly into your eye's.
I love the idea of vlogmas but it’s a ton of work as you have figured out. The only way I could do It is if I had all the videos made ahead of time. Most of the knitting vlogmas I’ve been watching are of the knitters opening their advent calendars, making a cuppa coffee or tea, and a little chit chat. Your videos are so much more. I completely forgot about wet felting. I tried It many years ago and loved the process. I love playing in soap and water 😉. I’ve wanted to purchase the beautiful hand dyed wool but with two bad shoulders I could never be a spinner. Now I have a reason to collect (or hoard) colorful wool. If anyone asks I’ll just say Kate made me do It 😇 I’m very much like you in that I like to just sit and try something new. If it works wonderful. If not? Well I had fun trying, right? Thank you Kate and Anna for all your hard work.
I love watching you make things. When you walk and show us the surroundings I get to see a foreign country. I live in the USA and know I will never go to other countries. I would love to travel over there. My cat loves to play with my yarn when I'm crocheting. She always goes in my sewing room. She likes to get in the window behind my sewing machine and the window behind my computer. I'm sorry I miss you live chat.
Very glad for this long video. I had time to get a pot of tea and -- wait for it-- shortbread cookies! As per your video on same. I feel so enmeshed in your channel at this point. It's great.

I have an embroidered sign posted in my sewing room, “Sewing area. Be careful where you sit!” There’s also a goose with pins sticking out its back end.
I don't know if you go back and see all the comments from your old videos, but I haven't watched all the old ones yet. I just discovered you about three or four months ago. And like you, it is like sitting down with an old friend. Not much favor of the lime green sofa, mine might be more like a brown sofa, but that's okay. It's your sofa, not mine. But I do enjoy the friendship and the chats. It's just so relaxing and enjoyable. I put I put you on when I'm quilting and I get a lot of work done. It just amazes me. So I do hope you see this. You encourage me so much
You've given me the courage to finally put together and quilt a top my grandmother pieced before I was born. She left it with my mom along with the backing fabric years ago but my mom didn't sew so she passed it to me. Mom and I would pull it out of the cedar chest and she would point out the pieces of her clothing scraps in the quilt. It's such a treasure to me and I've been waiting until my skills were better to finish it. However, I just found out I'll be a grandmother for the first time this coming summer. I'm sure my mom and grandmother would be happy to know their great/great great grandchild has the quilt and that I finally had the courage to finish it. Thank you Kate. You're a blessing to us all.
I never find this time on RUclips with you a time waster. You always fill the time I spend with wonderful chat and creativity. And that’s what nurtures my life. Carry on and know you are well received and well loved.
Aww Kate, so nice of you to want to respond to viewers. We know how little time there is, I think most of us are just happy to have the time with you watching the video, it's so much like visiting a friend. I've just made a cup of tea & I'm sitting down to crochet while I "visit" with you by watching your video.😊 Love your window coverings, so beautiful! Had a good laugh at little Norma when she slipped off the chair. One minute she's there & then she just disappeared.🤣🤣🤣 I think it was a surprise to her too. Such a sweetie, she's your ever present helper.❤ Thanks for hoping our wishes on your Christmas pudding comes true. Such a nice idea including us.
This video was a long one but I absolutely loved it.. You inspire me to get up and go in my sewing room and work on a quilt or start something new.. I watch every video of yours I can find.. Thank You so much Kate, ( I hope it is OK that I called You Kate) but after all I am older than you.. where did you get your thimble please? Have a great day or week until I see your videos again..and Bless You
As soon as I finished watching the stir up day vid, I called my 84 yr old English friend and talked to her about it. She was from London and they didn't call it that but remembers everyone having a stir and a wish. We talk about her memories all the time. She says when she gets homesick for home she calls me. I love it. All my people several generations ago were from the B isles. . Never been myself and prob never will but I want to......love your vids. Blessings.
Please don't let it get you down! No one expects you to respond to every comment. We just love communing with you. We love you❣❣❣ I do have a question about your thimble. I've never worn one but I like yours with the metal tip and the snuggie finger part. The two I've bought don't fit... And I so love that you care enough to not have ads! I am very thankful for that!! I just love that I feel that I learn something from you each time I watch. And I can do my handwork, or cook, or whatever while listening! And if I'm ever down, you always cheer me up my sister/friend❣ And I think it's absolutely wonderful that it's a family affair!!
Norma wants the thread...lol. My baby Zsadist always wants to eat my yarn. He is 13 years old and still wants the strings. I love you and your fur family.
So nice to have a nice long video today! As you sit there quilting, I'm sitting here spinning wool on my brand new spinning wheel that I ordered and assembled! Looking out the backyard window at my chickens. A very peaceful thing to do, and thank you for adding your voice and conversation to it :)
Kate: I just LOVE this technique of you filming your responses to the comments on previous videos while you work on one of your projects!!! Just love listening to your stream of thoughts. I must admit I was one of those who made a wish on your Christmas pudding! Love the bit about ‘cause that’s the way my mom did it’ ; I laughed really hard. Also love your reflection that you’re not talented but just more willing to try new things. Although I do think you are talented, I love your thoughts on slowing down, taking your time, and trying new things. This is my attitude as well. Wishing you Peace.
What a lovely way to spend an hour on a lazy Sunday afternoon!! I agree wholeheartedly with a handmade Christmas! I usually do make most or all of the gifts I give, and the people I give them to really love them!!🌲❄️❤️
Sorry Kate, but my eyes were focused on Norma all the way through this video, she has more ‘facees’ than the town clock :), really enjoyed this......and. I wish I was on the Tea Sofa xxx
Hi Kate and Anna. This was so much fun. Like visiting. You were doing the quilt and I wascdoing my crochet project. Got something to drink, on the couch and legs up. One of the cats on my feet. And you chatting and me laughing. This is the perfect solution for answering comments for all the videos you are putting up. I also have an idea about doing advent ideas or tutorials earlier. If you want to do something like that for say 15 days, call it "15 days of Christmas" or any number you need for what you have planned. Don't feel bad for not responding, I think I can speak for a lot of your followerds. We know you read it, and that's enough. At least for me. Love long videos so this was up my alley. 😉 Back to my crochet. See you tomorrow. 💕💕💕💕xxxxx
Oh dear Kate. I don’t expect a reply. There is only one of you and thousands of us. I don’t want you to get down over reply’s. I bet everyone else feels the same. I am just so thankful to enjoy time with you. That is a treat and a pleasure. Any time you spend with us is a gift. You are such a sweet, kind and humorous person. What more could we want. Oh Kate. Watch the Grinch. It is fabulous. It all rhymes and is humorous. Now you’re a grandma, you must know the Grinch. You are so right about owning less. We don’t need it. I can’t stop adding to this comment. You and Anna had me in stitches. I know it’s a lot of work. I so admire your dedication. You are wonderful!!

I enjoyed your chat with all of us and I see you everyday! Love your chatting with Anna and your quilts- - Sandi Myer from Florida! 2023October 24
I love how Norma is trying to get your attention ❤
Kate...you are not afraid to try...also, you are so free with your creative ventures...and bless you that you live in the slow lane now and are enjoying the journey...I want to slow down....happy 2024
I am inspired by your videos. I've done some house cleaning, resting, and been inspired by your video. God bless you and all who help you share these wonderful techniques.
I SO love those window coverings! They are like stain glass.
That's what I think!
Same! It looks like pieces of glass! Like a mosaic!!!
I'm sorry Kate, can't stop watching g beautiful Norma.
I appreciate no ads!! Thanks for that.😑😏
Thanks no adds
New viewer, just found you. I am in Southeast of the USA enjoying watching you with the baking and quilting. Thinking how nice it would be to be with you learning so much
about felting, listening to you explain what you are doing . I love Agnes quilt made by her grandmother. Norma is yout supervisor, so sweet. Anna seems like a lovely young lady. Looking forward to seeing you again .🎄🍭♥️
That was really lovely,
Norma was ever so patient and persistent ❤️🥰
Did have a little rewind and giggle when she fall 🙃
😘👋🏻👋🏻
omg...I was laughing out loud! Was hilarious! Seems she slipped on the ruler.
All I was doing was watching sweet Norma.. then.. Thunk! She fell. 😂🤣❤️
And it didn't even phase her!
She "meant" to do that. yeah... that's it... that was acrobatic cat humor. )))) We got it. )))) Thanks Norma we love you back.
Several years later...I also had to rewind to watch sweet Norma falling. Feel bad for laughing, but, I just had to. She was such a sweet cat.
Norma is a lovely cat , the way she sits with you and seems to take an interest in what you are doing .
Yes, Norma loves her soooooo much. She is always there, interested in what she is doing.
And she looks into the camera from time to time as though she can see us all! How cool is that?!
Monika - you said it very well!
You are so wonderful and grand. I love watching your videos. Always a lot of wisdom. Thank you.
Dear sweet Norma! I just love her.
i love your attitude of 'how hard can it be?' very wise...you are an inspiration!
I do feel like we should be the best of friends... It’s amazing to me that there is someone so like me out there.
cyndi wall Same! Sometimes I feel like I've known her all my life, we have so much in common. Kate's lovely personality attracts viewers who seem like such nice people too, I find myself having lots in common with many people who post a comment.
Cary Ulmer Exactly...
cyndi wall I feel like Kate & I would be friends too so good we can have this virtual gathering despite the geography of Kate’s followers 💖
I so love listening to you. Thank you for sharing you.
Three cheers for driving down the backroads!
I am older than you but come from people who did not do any of the things you do and those that I do.
That said you have made me happy to start all kinds of prodjects that I had wanted but did not know how. I am so thankful for your time and encouragement. Thank you.
"Well that was clumsy, Norma" ..... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Love your vids kate.
I am enjoying watching all your old videos. I am so happy I found you on RUclips. I feel like we are new friends. ❤️
I love this video! I feel like we are across the table from each other having a chat and a cup of tea!
I have loved listening and watching this in January 2024. Thank you so much for being such good company. I live on my own and have decided to have a go at hexagon quilting. I have no experience and no sewing machine but my Mum used to quilt. I am 70 by the way and live with my little dog, Poppy. Love Sally
You are blessed ! Norma loves you so very much. she is absolutely beautiful 🌹 love all your videos . God bless you and your beautiful kitties!

Love Norma the cat helping out!
Everybody needs a "Norma" in their life!!! She is precious!! Loving your Advent videos!
I have so enjoyed watching and listening to this vlog again such a lovely reminisce how the years fly. Xxx jeane xx
Jewellery making, kumihimo, soap, candles, leaded glass windows, glass painting, Christmas wreaths etc you name it I’ll try it 👍🏻
One thing I’ve never tried is quilting - do you run courses? I’ve watched your quilting endeavours avidly and would love to learn.
Love you dearly...
Darn it 😣😭
I just had a chuckle at your 'safe place' comment. So true.
I'm enjoying your video and having my breakfast as the first snow is coming down. Nice happy day!
I do love how Norma helps you with everything you do. ))))
All the back roads are adventure roads.
Let's go this way, and see what happens 😊 thank you for sharing your back roads with us 💐
I live alone and you’re right… it’s so nice sitting here and listening to her conversation and watch my baseball game also… love it💜💜
So enjoyed your video, Norma was so enjoyable as well as your quilt and mom talk.
If anyone asks I’ll just say Kate made me do It 😇
I’m very much like you in that I like to just sit and try something new.
It's great.
You can see how much Norma loves you, your energy and your attentiveness to her.
Hiya 🌞 sunshine, have just found your channel on Utube, and it's wonderful to see(am just learning how to use this device -with the help of my grandees!) Like yourself l quilt, embroider, knit, cook, craft, etc. Here people are curious in the main if they see one doing something when travelling or in a waiting room ,but it's lovely to have your "company" today as l have been doing my own activities 😀. I help anyone who wants to learn and they want to know where l learnt things! Am 72yrs odd,and learnt by watching my elders/ others, who were generous to share and practice for the ❤ of it/ necessity at times. Won't rave on, but will watch some more now lve found you!Best wishes, Julia.I.M.K. Mrs. Australia 🇦🇺 ♥
Simpaticissima signora, semplice e nel contempo fine e sapiente.
Fell off me perch! I watched that fine times 😂😂😂
DITTO I just found your channel. Marvelous channel I just started quilting at 66 (3 years ago) thank you for putting your channel out there
This video was a long one but I absolutely loved it..
We love you❣❣❣
I do have a question about your thimble.
And if I'm ever down, you always cheer me up my sister/friend❣
And I think it's absolutely wonderful that it's a family affair!!
"a bit of a chat" 😻 Was lovely .... am so glad you didn't stick to your 10 minute rule for long.
I too just found you and have been binge watching your videos!! Love, love, love, you!
Yes, I've moved into the slow lane as well and I agree, have a go at as many things as you can. So much info out there.
🤗
Love the long chat with dear Norma in the mix adding the comic relief. No need to respond. Just keep the videos coming!!!
I am notorious about putting something in a safe place and forgetting where that is. It made me laugh when you said that.
I love these videos, and look forward to a cup of tea and a little chat. But, Norma really steals the show. LOVE her ❤️❤️❤️
What a lovely way to spend an hour on a lazy Sunday afternoon!! I agree wholeheartedly with a handmade Christmas! I usually do make most or all of the gifts I give, and the people I give them to really love them!!🌲❄️❤️
Thank you. Please don’t worry about answering.
💕💕💕💕xxxxx
Loved that: Norma’s right here, you can’t see her now. And immediately her head pops up. 😻
Kate you nailed it! I also put my indicator light on a few years ago and am in the slow lane. Thank you for the analogy. I just love you and hope you have a blessed Christmas holiday.
