In VA, would love to join you on a prospecting adventure. South of Richmond, but just want to find some gold in VA. Considering going black sand hunting on the James here.

Great video. Yeah, gold prospecting is all about hard lessons, that's the same all over the world. But I like that, haha. Looking forward to more of your videos. Good luck and take care. Hello from a Swiss gold prospector!

@@ancellsadventures That's what I like with gold prospecting. It teaches me lessons, again and again. It never gets boring :)

That nozzle looks painfully small to me, but I ain’t no expert. Jealous like hell of you guys

It is really small but it does work great! The dredge is very very light that’s what I like about it, well that and I built it myself lol! I’m working on a bigger dredge now gonna take me a while to source all the parts but it should be great when finished!

Great video. Qn. Have you dredged in murky waters before, if so how did it go?

No I haven’t, only in flowing creeks that clear pretty quickly. I’d probably wait for muddy water to clear up before I’d dredge it just to be on the safe side. Low visibility could hide potential dangers.

Nozzle is to small ,for the nozzle just weld a bar across the nozzle will never get a clog I have a 4” Keene that’s what I did to mine

This was back three years ago now I run a four inch proline most of the time. We still use two inch dredges to test new creeks though.
