I really like how authentic this is. Series on TV are so planned and organised, they'd spend a day going to prearranged stops and "taking part" in things. Ethan buying a wooden spoon would have been a 10 minute segment where he tries to make one. We don't need it. He saw them, bought them and told us how they're made. You're travelling they way we would and doing the things we'd want to do. Ace. Glad the drifting scene from Tokyo drift actually exists

I want to say, speaking as a HUGE Japanophile, this little Japan series is very refreshing. It's not just the same stuff again and again. Not many people do road trips in Japan so it is nice to see. Your channel has really taken off since you left CT, congrats on doing well. Keep it up!
You blokes have really hit your straps after getting out of your previous media vehicle. Intelligent, humourous, informative ( but enough about me) you have produced a fantastic prodect here. Thanks for you efforts.
Loved the fact you covered the lesser known parts of Japan and got to experience the local life a little 🙏 Ethan your camera skills are amazingly good! I’ve put my order through for the Tshirt as a sign of support and so that you both can continue to bring us such quality content. Thank you 🙏
I can't help but just exclaim how accurate Ethan and Jack's reactions are when you guys visited Japan for the first time, it's so similar to ours!! We and my other half visited Japan last May, as a graduation gift to ourselves, and having spent 7 days in Tokyo and Osaka road tripping in a new Prius of all cars, we found ourselves so difficult to let go of all that we've gotten used to and be fond of in Japan. So much so that, despite spending most of our savings in Japan already, we quickly booked another trip to Japan in January this year, and recently completed our round trip from Nagoya to Takiyama, back to Tokyo, just like what Ethan and Jack did. You guys are so right in saying that Japan is a very diverse and, in some ways, extreme country, on one hand people are all extremely polite and helpful while giving a sense that they are very restrained; on the other hand when they get let loose, they just do whatever they like in a very Japanese way. As shown in the video, they don't have the police saying 'no' to them on Touges when they drift. They don't even have speed cameras, people speed over 20km/h on average above the speed limit and the police don't give a damn. The secondhand culture is also so vibrant in Japan, from secondhand car parts in UpGarage to secondhand cars that we can only crave on adverts. They park these 'unicorns' on the street as if they're normal cars like we do with Fiestas for goodness sake. That's why I love Japan so much, and having spent nearly a month in the past year roadtripping across Japan, I can't help but just exclaim how accurate this video captures Japan. Thank you Ethan and Jack, you did a blinder no doubt. Keep it up!!
Japan looked chaos and calm all in one brilliantly made video! Thanks guys. The editing on this at times was sublime and you really captured a culture and country beautifully. Can't wait till the next adventure!
