Blizzard LIED to us - It was not a 'Power Shift'

- Yeah... in the build up to Season 10, Blizzard said that they would be shifting power from one aspect of Moira's kit and placing it in another.
I'm sorry, but taking away 5 DPS from Moira's grasp... and ability she uses multiple times in every single engagement sure does take some damage out of her kit... but how does giving Coalescence.. an ability that is used infrequently, 5 HP/s extra, and it only has any effect if you actually take damage during your ultimate, constitute as a power shift?
What they meant to say was... we are going to nerf Moira, but throw you a tiny cookie to soften the blow.

That 5 dmg difference is so monumental, 1v1’s and kills require so much more it’s actually ridiculous
It doesn't require "so much more", just press right click 0.3 seconds longer lol
@@Juan-sq9hbit's much longer than that, *especially* when they are getting healed. It was super nice finally being able to out damage mercy healing, now you basically can't without an orb.
@@SecureBirch410I actually agree. I noticed now with the 1 v 1 battles where they are getting healed by mercy it’s literally impossible without orb or someone else helping.
that’s fine. She doesn’t deserve to have that much dmg anyways because she doesn’t require any mechanical aiming skill. Sorry not sorry.
@@ArdiKodzIts not about that tho. its about whther the heroes work or not and if theyre busted, weak or balanced.
Like I dont care if a hero doesnt take that much skill just as long as I can kill them and they die when theyre supposed to(Bad positioning or lack of teamates)

The grasp buff turned Moira into meta, so the nerf has sense
@@jakeclouds3852the nerf was 100% needed I agree, however she's too weak without it she really needed some kind of genuine compensation buff- imo buffing the capacity of the orbs would've been good
@@SecureBirch410 that's the point! the mess about her grasp is that it was the only thing keeping her useful, since healing got heavily affected by the DPS passive
it's funny how the "power shift" was more of a nerf than the actual Tracer "nerf"

I feel like the nerf was maybe needed, but equally she needed a proper compensation buff, in my opinion buffing the capacity of the orbs wouldve been good. They feel like they disappear really quickly and this would compesate for the damage a bit but in a way that adds more skill.
the only interesting part they can change is orbs. like, if they were higher cd, less duration and more bursty, that would make you have to put way more thought in your orb usage
Tbf that's a good take. It does feel kinda silly having an ability that you just throw off cooldown most of the time.
The moira buff on the ult self healing was nice tbh, after the dps anti healing passive stuff it felt super bad and u felt so easy to kill even during ult so its a valid thing to buff but i don't think its enough to serve as a compensation buff for dmg being reduced from grasp

Was just overall bad timing imo and Orsia never checked their corners thus leading to them getting knocked further away from Arx, & the Orisa kept going forward with like low heals??? If Arx doesn’t chase the tank he gets flamed by his tm8s possibly the tank or if he does chase the tank and is actually trying to heal the tank he gets blamed. Can’t win 😂

I'd be fine with Moira, and almost all in OW in general, if they would just change the fact that anti-nade alone is what wins the VAST majority of team fights. Almost every battle feels good, until anti-nades makes your tank and other teammates become unhealable, the battle is over. Rinse, repeat. That's OW in a nutshell. It would be such a good game without that mechanic, instead of the total garbage it is now. It's what makes me hate Ana so, SO much, ruining an otherwise good game, but it's really just anti-nade. Turns a cool game to skill-less crap.
thats what it was like in ow 1 but with current state: kiriko suzu , dva endless defence matrix and strong flank/dive heroes ana isnt in a good spot right now. Now when no one in your team playes kiriko or flank or anything against her yeah then she is strong.

I was hoping for the damage on orb to either be increased slightly to 215 or have the amount of time the 200 damage is dumped onto other players
