I got the LOQ15 last year then after 4 months motherboard got an issue. After 3 days tech came out and replaced the motherboard and SSD. Now running smoothly with no hiccups. Used the freebie to upgrade to 16GB Ram. Been using it to edit 4k videos and gaming with little work haha... Good deal with 3 years warranty.

@@stellar0675 the ratio percentage is very less like 1%-2% as loq series had a good sales so it sounds like many but believe me its very less .... U can try buying the ryzen version of you are concern because never even heard ryzen one got issue only heard with Intel hx one ... Hope it helps

Got my LOQ, battery is quite not impressive but if you keep it in quite mode and not doing any heavy loads, it's ok, but talking about performance, can't say anything about it. Good catch!
I think what made me pull the plug for LOQ besides the ones mention in the video are superior keyboard which is so good to type with (I have a mechanical keyboard for gaming using the laptop keyboard when I take my machine to work) a hardware switch to physically disconnect the camera, superior screen, NVIDIA Optimus that you can access through Vantage software (Just don't touch the stuff you don't know inside this software or have a little research before fiddling around the program) that doesn't require restart, better cooling system and the clean looking build and aesthetic. For the battery, I really don't mind since I always plug my device when using and enabling the smart charge feature to preserve battery life. You can buy a higher wattage power adaptor though to avoid battery drain while plugged in, but in my case and in my usage the stock 170W is enough and doesn't drain as much when I'm gaming. Been using my LOQ 15IRX9 for 4 months now and I got no issues at all. Also upgraded it to 16GB of RAM and planning to upgrade the SSD soon for more storage. I also recommend buying a laptop cooling pad, I use Llano V12 and it works!
Hey dude, I also bought my LOQ early July and may I ask how intense are your battery drains while gaming? When playing Forza Horizon 4 (Very High) my battery drains around 5-10% after an hour and was curious if it was the same with you; I already have the smart charging where it stops at 80% plugged in. Lenovo support advised me to turn on Battery Drop Protection on BIOS but it slightly lowers my gaming performance by around 10% lower FPS
I got my LOQ 15IRX9 but with higher CPU of i7. It's running so smoothly so far, and I am very satisfied. Sana tumagal ng 10 years. I agree sa battery, hindi umaabot sa akin ng 2 hours. 1 hour and 30 minutes is alraady long. Laban na laban lang talaga sa speed. Walang lag (or minimal lag kung merun man). Pero iyong store price at Octagon is 94,995 which is way expensive compared to the price mentioned here for the i5 version. Nabudol ba ako from a reputable store? 😮💨Or expected iyong price kasi i7 na siya?
I have that Acer nitro V15 while my aunt have the exact same LOQ you have mention in this video but I have to correct at the tempts you mentioned, the acer nitro v15 got better cooling than the LOQ because I tested from my aunt(it was a stress test),. The LOQ have maximum of 5000rpm and while the maximum rpm of Acer nitro v15 have 7000+ rpm(which is very loud than my aunt's laptop lmao) and the result based on the game I played which is God of War 4, Acer have less 10-15 degrees cooler than the LOQ one. Though I'm not suggesting to buy Acer nitro v15, depending on your budget if you can afford LOQ, just go for it. Peace.

@@princessramos5362 just avoid muna ang HX processors. May mga alternative naman like getting an Intel "H" series or Ryzen. HX processors' advantage are only because it is unlocked to its full potential closely performing as a Desktop CPU. And that's it. Intel "H" series processors are extremely fast too and runs at lower power so more battery life I guess?😆 Anyway, Ryzen 🔛🔝.

this guy above is lying dont listen to him . there are two types of people in this world , one when feels immense pain does everything in his power to make sure no one else goes through the same and the other who feels immense pain wants to inflict it onto others so they too go through suffering . i have gone through thousands of comments and i can say this issue is absolutely insane and the loq should be avoided at all costs . many people are asking which laptop is better and my advice is the same , dont fall for the loqs higher specs its a very bad laptop here is my comment from reddit - i have an loq as well and i have seen that most issues are happening with either the custom 4060 14700 or the i5 12450 hx rtx 3050 (6gb) 512 ssd 16gb ram . the battery backup is terrible , they already advertise it at a low rate and the actual rate is like 40 mins - 2 hours at max charge according to the task you run . i have the battery issue and it crashes some times too , keep in mind i bought it in april 2024 and all of these crashing and battery issues were there from day one , and i have not once mishandled my laptop yet . i would not have complained if it was just this but the MAIN issue is the performance , its not just a 3050 its the 6gb one which is supposed to be way better but its performing worse than a 2050 or even a 1650... the fps on fortnite is absolutely crap on the loq and one more thing , my moms i5 11 gen laptop without a graphics card renders 3d models slightly faster than this laptop on performance mode... also i didnt use the performance mode apart from benchmarks but even there the fps was so bad and unstable i had to turn off overclock . even with the overclock off the laptop runs better on balanced mode than performance mode ( i am doing it from both the battery option as well as the vantage app , so yeah the LOQ sucks i would not reccommend it to someone) so yeah also i have seen this happen in all gens so doesnt matter if its 12450 13450 or 14700 , this might be the shittiest laptop lenovo has ever made . please spread the word thank you
been using loq for 1 month. No issue at all. Bought it sa PC CENTRAL. Make sure na yung ipapaadd mo na ram is same frequency ng in built ram para di magka issue.

I’m currently looking at the LOQ 15IRX9 83DV00DPSB, it has a i7 13650hx with a 4060, however I found out that many have raised issue with their motherboard dying after a few months anyone have any personal experience with this?
The biggest downside of LOQ is the issues attached to it. Most users are having issues with the lcd and mobo. The warranty and parts also have a longer waiting time before they fix the unit due to a lot of users experiencing the issue. This is a huge advantage for Nitro.
As a non tech person, my only question is can the LOQ laptop have open 10 tabs on chrome at the same time? 😭 not heavy on the gaming but i heard gaming laptops are better used for work too
@@munren 10 tabs on Chrome? Definitely (saying this as someone who has hundreds of tabs on Chrome and Firefox on both my laptop and phone lol). Although what you need to look for is RAM because Chrome eats a lot of it. 8GB is the minimum you need for the current 64-bit architecture of Windows. You can upgrade to 16GB if you're multitasking A LOT. The LOQ has an additional slot so you can just buy an 8GB stick (cheap upgrade tbh), but make sure you're getting the same brand and model as the other one already installed. Otherwise just get a 16GB stick to not worry about matching. I am not sure but I think 32GB is the maximum this model can handle, but that's overkill and only ideal if you're editing videos. I'm not sure what type of work you do, but if you're not going to be gaming, there may be other options that would be cheaper for you like an Ideapad or even a Zenbook. The LOQ is priced this way because of the GPU. Generally, games, mining, and hardware accelerated exporting that video editing programs feature are the ones that benefit from it. If you don't do those a lot, then it's just a waste of money for your tasks.

Hello po. New lang po ako nagka laptop tas Lenovo LOQ po ang pinaka-una kong laptop. I was expecting na sa bawat paggamit ko sa laptop nato ay magtatagal siya at the very least more than 4 hours straight of usage (hindi naka plug ang charger) Kaso ang bilis niya ma lowbat kahit naka low ang brightness, naka battery saver mode at kahit di ako naglalaro ng games. Parang kapag ginagamit ko siya for school activities or just simply surfing online, ambilis niya talagang ma lowbat. Parang around 2 hours lang maximum ganun, tas kailangan na mag charge ulit. At sa time na nag try ako maglaro ng Dota 2 low graphics, na naka balanced mode, ambilis padin ma lowbat. I remember na 90% yung Battery ko, I was 30 mins in-game, nagulat ako nag power save mode na siya, umabot na pala sa 20%. Hindi pa nga natapos yung laro ko. I think this is not true for all na madali lang malowbat ang mga laptop, pero sadyang itong unit ko parang ambilis lang kasi malowbat, kailangan talagang i-charge kapag ginagamit. I've read a comment na nagchacharge siya habang naglalaro ng games habang naka on yung conservation mode. Okay lang po ba tong method na to? since "Gaming" laptop naman po siya, i'm just worried na kapag naglalaro ng games habang nakacharge ay lalong maaapektohan ang life ng battery in the long run. Hopefully po na intindihan ang aking concern, nahihirapan po talaga ako sa Filipino.

Been using a gaming laptop for my rendering and CADD tools so yes po, mabilis po talaga malowbat ang mga gaming laptops because of the GPUs and CPUs (di po ako expert ha pero this is from experience and malaki po talaga ang demand ng gaming laptop specs sa batteries.) And yes po, you can keep charging po yung laptop niyo. Built naman po kasi yang mga yan to be plugged in since gamers usually play longer than a 2 hours (Guilty as charge 🙋♀️). Actually nga po nakaka help yung naka plugged kasi hindi po naka atang sa battery yung load kapag gumagawa ka po ng heavy activities like me, rendering and gaming. Kumabaga po, the battery is not working extra hard to put up with whatever activity it is you put it through kasi may steady flow of power po siya. Okay lang po yun na naka charge. Plus may 3 modes naman po ang LOQ. Press Windows + Q po to cycle between the 3 modes. If naka charge naman po siya, switch niyo po sa White (Balanced) para smooth as butter yung game. Switch to Red (Performance) if pang malakasan and pang matagalan (hours) yung rendering or what not (P.s you can game with balanced mode on. Lenovo LOQ has AI built into it na nag siswitch siya kagad to suit what games it is you are playing. I mostly play on balanced mode. If mag switch ako to performance, it is because I am doing rendering or heavy duty stuff). Switch to Blue (Quiet) if idle surfing or nasa school ka to reduce yung usage of battery and reduce tje fan noise. Happy gaming po! From one LOQ haver to another!

@@INTZ2005 Hi po! I have a Lenovo Loq din po and we have upgraded it na po sa 16 GB dun po sa shop na pinagbilhan namin. Na uupgrade po yun, ask niyo lang po kasi usually freebie nila yung extra 8 gb. And yes po, mabilis po talaga malowbat ang mga gaming laptop hehe. Gaming laptop po kasi uses more cpu and gpu so malakas din po kumain ng battery. As said po sa video na napanood niyo, ang time ng battery to last without charging is around 2 hours po. Sa mga gaming laptops po like LOQ and such, mas preferred po naka kabit sila sa charger and don't worry po about that kasi built po sila na nakakabit talaga. Usually po may limiter yan na nag iistop siya mag charge around certain percentage (80% sa LOQ iirc) to protect the battery. It also kind of extends the battery life din po like di agad masira yung battery kasi since naka connect siya sa charge, di masyado under stress ang battery po ninyo while doing heavy activities sa laptop (i.e. Gaming (AAA or not), Video editing, Rendering 3D models, CADD tools etc.) Hope this helps po and happy gaming!

Is it the 16 gig version with the i5-13450hx and rtx 4050 combo? I think the 2024 ones don't have the mobo issue, apparently Lenovo has fixed them. Also, you could undervolt the processor by a bit to be safe.
@@acexrock But it still uses 13th gen HX series processor, which is known to run high voltages and cause issues....so you would have to be careful, and undervolting in vantage or some other software would help. But the battery of 60whr seems to be the pain point in loq series, as its quite low & doesn't last long due to the loaded hardware. Many ppl have this issue tho, for loq series
After buying Nitro V15, it made me realize that as casual gamer, my future laptop should have LED screen and integrated graphics card. I prefer power efficient and lightweight laptop after all.
Is the Nitro V the newer version of the Nitro 5? I'm eyeing the Nitro 5 AN515-46-R4W2 or R3BB with a 165Hz display/RTX 3060. Would you say the LOQ display is till better compared to the Nitro 5?
i can say it's personal preference, intel do have more core, but AMD have more power fron a single core, and usually amd have a bit more longger lasting battery life, but for me i would prefer intel, cuzz what i've known there is some apps that almost could not run AMD cpu's
I have lenovo loq and my rgb is bugging whenever i boot the laptop the laptops rgb more (wave_left is different colors for example: left side one colour midle different and right different) but whenever i open my vantage the wave_left refreshes and becomes choppy and only one colour i have i7 13650hx and 3050 from dubai) does anyone know a fix?

Not against Asus or Lenovo but you can never go wrong with both. In terms of build quality and after sales service, they are on par. Di maiiwasan ang issue sa mga unit. May kanya kanyang pros and cons. But if i were to choose a brand? I'll take Asus or Lenovo. Never taking an Acer ever again. And don't start me with MSI. F that. - Former Asus FX user and now a Lenovo LOQ owner.

@@Jazuu99 well not really , the LOQ is THE best price to performance laptop on the market . For same price models the loq you will get will be way stronger . The graphic card on the LOQ is the 6gb rtx 3050 whereas it's the 4gb one in the Nitro v , the ram on the loq is 16 gigs of ddr5 where it's 16 gigs of ddr4 in the Nitro V , the processor on the loq is also superior as it uses the 12450HX whereas the Nitro v has the 12450H. For gaming or just any purpose the loq will always be better BUT that would only apply if your loq is not faulty, let me explain So some people are saying that it's the HX processor that's way too powerful for the motherboard so it's causing it to fry hence why people are getting issues but I think that's bs . The problem seems to be not be the laptops being dead on arrival , they die a few days after arrival 3-8 , you know what happens in that timeframe? The second bios update . The first happens when you open the laptop which is fine but the second bios update is what fries the motherboard , all the issues by everyone has been after the second bios update. So in summary : if you want to choose between the two go with Nitro v as it's a safer choice , the loq is a better laptop but that's pointless if it stops working in the first week , then all you are left with is an expensive paperweight. I have seen cases where after the second bios update the laptop still works fine in which case it's better to have the loq but in many like mine where the things performance went to shit permanently or some people whose entire thingy went away and now they have to get it sent to repair or it won't open.

Battery on normal use with efficiency mode and backlit of works like 3-4 hrs roughly so I'm happy with what can you expect form a gaming laptop 😁... By the way it can also play hellblade ll very smoothly 🤩
@@shahulhameed-ic9wy I would say yes, but not enough power to run models that are not quantized, should you want to try or train a model. We recommend getting higher specced ones with upgraded RAM and GPU. For coding, it shouldn’t be an issue; but if you are going to use it for 3D modeling and rendering, and you want to preview your work, these laptops might not be the best for those requirements. :)

From my experience, recommendations and reviews sa entry lvl gaming laptop? LOQ > TUF > ACER > MSI Don't buy MSI entry lvl gaming laptops. Anlala ng build quality mostly sa hinge grabe sasakit ulo mo jan, tinipid sa power ang mga gpu's(45w RTX 4060? Hellnah), at may mga issues about overheating(mostly kase single fan lang ang meron sa mga MSI entry lvl) Pros: Wala ako maisip. Siguro mura nalang.(Mapapamura ka talaga) Although Acer is cheaper or not the cheapest, don't prioritize getting it. Andito nako sa Taiwan sa mismong manufacturers ng mga laptop na yan, isa sa mga compromises ng Acer ay BUILD QUALITY. But I'm only talking about Nitro series. Ibang usapan na yung Predator lineup nila. Ang mga Taiwanese dito kung magrecommend sila mas prefer nilang ibenta sayo ang Asus, Lenovo or even a Gigabyte kase madaming bumabalik daw sa store nila as reklamo nga about build quality. Issues such as screen flickering or black screen, no display, no power, cheap plastic, bad thermal design, etc. Di ko sinisiraan Acer pero customers na mismo ang madaming reklamo dito kaya no wonder binibigyan ng Acer ng 3 years warranty ang mga laptop nila. Although it's good pero ayoko namang maya't maya may issue laptop ko. Tatlong Acer nitro ang gamit ng mga katrabaho ko nun, lahat may kanya kanyang issue like yung isa sira screen, yung isa nag aauto shutdown, yung isa nagkacrash yung mga drivers. Taiwanese na nagsabi nyan, irerecommend pa yung Chinese na brand(which is kalaban nila kung tutuusin iykwim). Pros: Price to performance ration is top notch. 3 years warranty. I'll suggest you to buy 12th gen, cuz it has fewer issues than 13th & 14th gens. 2050 or 3050? Well it depends on TGP, I'll suggest 95W 3050 6gb one...
There have been getting a number of reports of LOQ 2024 users in India getting their motherboards bricked within a couple of months or even weeks after purchase. Are there the same cases here in SEA? Sa mga nakabili ng LOQ 2024 laptop, kamusta po ang experience nyo and how long na nagamit? Im eyeing a LOQ laptop too but with this mobo bricking issue still not addressed by Lenovo, worry ko lang is baka hindi magtagal ang laptop.

there are multiple versions of the nitro v 15, some with better and some with a bit more outdated specs, but the prices also vary, writing this on a nitro v15 rtx 4050 the same one in the video, u are not getting ripped off u just got a different variant

@@merinolevih.3152 definitely no mb issue, also I read some discussions in reddit the motherboard issue we're caused by higher version specially the i7 with HX, the motherboard can stand the heat of i7 HX. In short the i5 HX version with 4050 has no problems also the issue wasn't faced by many.
i am just curious as to what screams gamer. i don't get this mentality. i had an asus strix laptop, with rgb on the lid, my question is this, who kinda cares about that. you are literally using power for lights you are never going to see, except for when you are opening it. example i have the h150i elite liquid cooler. loads of rgb and an lcd screen, very nice cooler. my previous cooler was a noctua nh-d15. and that thing may not look sleek, but it was by far an astounding cooler. and trust me noctua fans are not exactly known for style. more like poop stain color, but they are some of the best fans on the market. rgb does not mean gamer.
Bought and returned a nitro v earlier this week. That screen is a deal breaker...its bad, real bad. Completely unusable for anywork, but I wouldn't even recommend for gaming. Everything looks super saturated. Reds are brown, whites are yellow, blues are grey, makes daylight look like dusk. plus the screen tearing, and no adaptive sync. Unless you plan to use it with any external monitor and you get it for super cheap, avoid. Also the gpu can go to 75 watts, but you will never want it higher then 65 anyway, cause its so damn loud at max power.

I got the LOQ15 last year then after 4 months motherboard got an issue. After 3 days tech came out and replaced the motherboard and SSD. Now running smoothly with no hiccups. I think what made me pull the plug for LOQ besides the ones mention in the video are superior keyboard which is so good to type with (I have a mechanical keyboard for gaming using the laptop keyboard when I take my machine to work) a hardware switch to physically disconnect the camera, superior screen, NVIDIA Optimus that you can access through Vantage software (Just don't touch the stuff you don't know inside this software or have a little research before fiddling around the program) that doesn't require restart, better cooling system and the clean looking build and aesthetic. For the battery, I really don't mind since I always plug my device when using and enabling the smart charge feature to preserve battery life. You can buy a higher wattage power adaptor though to avoid battery drain while plugged in, but in my case and in my usage the stock 170W is enough and doesn't drain as much when I'm gaming.
Been using my LOQ 15IRX9 for 4 months now and I got no issues at all. Also upgraded it to 16GB of RAM and planning to upgrade the SSD soon for more storage. I also recommend buying a laptop cooling pad, I use Llano V12 and it works!
Hey dude, I also bought my LOQ early July and may I ask how intense are your battery drains while gaming? When playing Forza Horizon 4 (Very High) my battery drains around 5-10% after an hour and was curious if it was the same with you; I already have the smart charging where it stops at 80% plugged in. Lenovo support advised me to turn on Battery Drop Protection on BIOS but it slightly lowers my gaming performance by around 10% lower FPS

I got my LOQ 15IRX9 but with higher CPU of i7. It's running so smoothly so far, and I am very satisfied. Sana tumagal ng 10 years. I agree sa battery, hindi umaabot sa akin ng 2 hours. 1 hour and 30 minutes is alraady long. Laban na laban lang talaga sa speed. Walang lag (or minimal lag kung merun man).
Pero iyong store price at Octagon is 94,995 which is way expensive compared to the price mentioned here for the i5 version. Nabudol ba ako from a reputable store? 😮💨Or expected iyong price kasi i7 na siya?

I have that Acer nitro V15 while my aunt have the exact same LOQ you have mention in this video but I have to correct at the tempts you mentioned, the acer nitro v15 got better cooling than the LOQ because I tested from my aunt(it was a stress test),. The LOQ have maximum of 5000rpm and while the maximum rpm of Acer nitro v15 have 7000+ rpm(which is very loud than my aunt's laptop lmao) and the result based on the game I played which is God of War 4, Acer have less 10-15 degrees cooler than the LOQ one.
Though I'm not suggesting to buy Acer nitro v15, depending on your budget if you can afford LOQ, just go for it. Peace.

HX processors' advantage are only because it is unlocked to its full potential closely performing as a Desktop CPU. And that's it. Intel "H" series processors are extremely fast too and runs at lower power so more battery life I guess?😆 Anyway, Ryzen 🔛🔝.
Other than these two laptops. What can you suggest around 60k below? It will be nice if you suggest a ryzen cpu w/ 40 series rtx gpu.

i have an loq as well and i have seen that most issues are happening with either the custom 4060 14700 or the i5 12450 hx rtx 3050 (6gb) 512 ssd 16gb ram . the battery backup is terrible , they already advertise it at a low rate and the actual rate is like 40 mins - 2 hours at max charge according to the task you run . i have the battery issue and it crashes some times too , keep in mind i bought it in april 2024 and all of these crashing and battery issues were there from day one , and i have not once mishandled my laptop yet . i would not have complained if it was just this but the MAIN issue is the performance , its not just a 3050 its the 6gb one which is supposed to be way better but its performing worse than a 2050 or even a 1650... the fps on fortnite is absolutely crap on the loq and one more thing , my moms i5 11 gen laptop without a graphics card renders 3d models slightly faster than this laptop on performance mode... also i didnt use the performance mode apart from benchmarks but even there the fps was so bad and unstable i had to turn off overclock . even with the overclock off the laptop runs better on balanced mode than performance mode ( i am doing it from both the battery option as well as the vantage app , so yeah the LOQ sucks i would not reccommend it to someone)
so yeah also i have seen this happen in all gens so doesnt matter if its 12450 13450 or 14700 , this might be the shittiest laptop lenovo has ever made . please spread the word thank you

The biggest downside of LOQ is the issues attached to it. Most users are having issues with the lcd and mobo. The warranty and parts also have a longer waiting time before they fix the unit due to a lot of users experiencing the issue. This is a huge advantage for Nitro.

@@munren 10 tabs on Chrome? Definitely (saying this as someone who has hundreds of tabs on Chrome and Firefox on both my laptop and phone lol). Although what you need to look for is RAM because Chrome eats a lot of it. 8GB is the minimum you need for the current 64-bit architecture of Windows. You can upgrade to 16GB if you're multitasking A LOT. The LOQ has an additional slot so you can just buy an 8GB stick (cheap upgrade tbh), but make sure you're getting the same brand and model as the other one already installed. Otherwise just get a 16GB stick to not worry about matching. I am not sure but I think 32GB is the maximum this model can handle, but that's overkill and only ideal if you're editing videos.
I'm not sure what type of work you do, but if you're not going to be gaming, there may be other options that would be cheaper for you like an Ideapad or even a Zenbook. The LOQ is priced this way because of the GPU. Generally, games, mining, and hardware accelerated exporting that video editing programs feature are the ones that benefit from it. If you don't do those a lot, then it's just a waste of money for your tasks.

Hello po. New lang po ako nagka laptop tas Lenovo LOQ po ang pinaka-una kong laptop. I was expecting na sa bawat paggamit ko sa laptop nato ay magtatagal siya at the very least more than 4 hours straight of usage (hindi naka plug ang charger) Kaso ang bilis niya ma lowbat kahit naka low ang brightness, naka battery saver mode at kahit di ako naglalaro ng games. Parang kapag ginagamit ko siya for school activities or just simply surfing online, ambilis niya talagang ma lowbat. Parang around 2 hours lang maximum ganun, tas kailangan na mag charge ulit. At sa time na nag try ako maglaro ng Dota 2 low graphics, na naka balanced mode, ambilis padin ma lowbat. I remember na 90% yung Battery ko, I was 30 mins in-game, nagulat ako nag power save mode na siya, umabot na pala sa 20%. Hindi pa nga natapos yung laro ko.
I think this is not true for all na madali lang malowbat ang mga laptop, pero sadyang itong unit ko parang ambilis lang kasi malowbat, kailangan talagang i-charge kapag ginagamit.
I've read a comment na nagchacharge siya habang naglalaro ng games habang naka on yung conservation mode. Okay lang po ba tong method na to? since "Gaming" laptop naman po siya, i'm just worried na kapag naglalaro ng games habang nakacharge ay lalong maaapektohan ang life ng battery in the long run.

Hello! Been using a gaming laptop for my rendering and CADD tools so yes po, mabilis po talaga malowbat ang mga gaming laptops because of the GPUs and CPUs (di po ako expert ha pero this is from experience and malaki po talaga ang demand ng gaming laptop specs sa batteries.)
And yes po, you can keep charging po yung laptop niyo. Built naman po kasi yang mga yan to be plugged in since gamers usually play longer than a 2 hours (Guilty as charge 🙋♀️).
Actually nga po nakaka help yung naka plugged kasi hindi po naka atang sa battery yung load kapag gumagawa ka po ng heavy activities like me, rendering and gaming. Kumabaga po, the battery is not working extra hard to put up with whatever activity it is you put it through kasi may steady flow of power po siya. Okay lang po yun na naka charge. Plus may 3 modes naman po ang LOQ. Press Windows + Q po to cycle between the 3 modes. If naka charge naman po siya, switch niyo po sa White (Balanced) para smooth as butter yung game. Switch to Red (Performance) if pang malakasan and pang matagalan (hours) yung rendering or what not (P.s you can game with balanced mode on. Lenovo LOQ has AI built into it na nag siswitch siya kagad to suit what games it is you are playing. I mostly play on balanced mode. If mag switch ako to performance, it is because I am doing rendering or heavy duty stuff). Switch to Blue (Quiet) if idle surfing or nasa school ka to reduce yung usage of battery and reduce tje fan noise.

And yes po, mabilis po talaga malowbat ang mga gaming laptop hehe. Gaming laptop po kasi uses more cpu and gpu so malakas din po kumain ng battery. As said po sa video na napanood niyo, ang time ng battery to last without charging is around 2 hours po. Sa mga gaming laptops po like LOQ and such, mas preferred po naka kabit sila sa charger and don't worry po about that kasi built po sila na nakakabit talaga. Usually po may limiter yan na nag iistop siya mag charge around certain percentage (80% sa LOQ iirc) to protect the battery. It also kind of extends the battery life din po like di agad masira yung battery kasi since naka connect siya sa charge, di masyado under stress ang battery po ninyo while doing heavy activities sa laptop (i.e. Gaming (AAA or not), Video editing, Rendering 3D models, CADD tools etc.)

@@acexrock But it still uses 13th gen HX series processor, which is known to run high voltages and cause issues....so you would have to be careful, and undervolting in vantage or some other software would help.
But the battery of 60whr seems to be the pain point in loq series, as its quite low & doesn't last long due to the loaded hardware. Many ppl have this issue tho, for loq series

i can say it's personal preference, intel do have more core, but AMD have more power fron a single core, and usually amd have a bit more longger lasting battery life, but for me i would prefer intel, cuzz what i've known there is some apps that almost could not run AMD cpu's

i have an loq as well and i have seen that most issues are happening with either the custom 4060 14700 or the i5 12450 hx rtx 3050 (6gb) 512 ssd 16gb ram . the battery backup is terrible , they already advertise it at a low rate and the actual rate is like 40 mins - 2 hours at max charge according to the task you run . i have the battery issue and it crashes some times too , keep in mind i bought it in april 2024 and all of these crashing and battery issues were there from day one , and i have not once mishandled my laptop yet . i would not have complained if it was just this but the MAIN issue is the performance , its not just a 3050 its the 6gb one which is supposed to be way better but its performing worse than a 2050 or even a 1650... the fps on fortnite is absolutely crap on the loq and one more thing , my moms i5 11 gen laptop without a graphics card renders 3d models slightly faster than this laptop on performance mode... also i didnt use the performance mode apart from benchmarks but even there the fps was so bad and unstable i had to turn off overclock . even with the overclock off the laptop runs better on balanced mode than performance mode ( i am doing it from both the battery option as well as the vantage app , so yeah the LOQ sucks i would not reccommend it to someone)
so yeah also i have seen this happen in all gens so doesnt matter if its 12450 13450 or 14700 , this might be the shittiest laptop lenovo has ever made . please spread the word thank you

@@Jazuu99 well not really , the LOQ is THE best price to performance laptop on the market . For same price models the loq you will get will be way stronger . The graphic card on the LOQ is the 6gb rtx 3050 whereas it's the 4gb one in the Nitro v , the ram on the loq is 16 gigs of ddr5 where it's 16 gigs of ddr4 in the Nitro V , the processor on the loq is also superior as it uses the 12450HX whereas the Nitro v has the 12450H. For gaming or just any purpose the loq will always be better BUT that would only apply if your loq is not faulty, let me explain
So some people are saying that it's the HX processor that's way too powerful for the motherboard so it's causing it to fry hence why people are getting issues but I think that's bs . The problem seems to be not be the laptops being dead on arrival , they die a few days after arrival 3-8 , you know what happens in that timeframe? The second bios update . The first happens when you open the laptop which is fine but the second bios update is what fries the motherboard , all the issues by everyone has been after the second bios update.
So in summary : if you want to choose between the two go with Nitro v as it's a safer choice , the loq is a better laptop but that's pointless if it stops working in the first week , then all you are left with is an expensive paperweight. I have seen cases where after the second bios update the laptop still works fine in which case it's better to have the loq but in many like mine where the things performance went to shit permanently or some people whose entire thingy went away and now they have to get it sent to repair or it won't open.

For coding, it shouldn’t be an issue; but if you are going to use it for 3D modeling and rendering, and you want to preview your work, these laptops might not be the best for those requirements. :)

Don't buy MSI entry lvl gaming laptops. Anlala ng build quality mostly sa hinge grabe sasakit ulo mo jan, tinipid sa power ang mga gpu's(45w RTX 4060? Hellnah), at may mga issues about overheating(mostly kase single fan lang ang meron sa mga MSI entry lvl)
Pros: Wala ako maisip. Siguro mura nalang.(Mapapamura ka talaga)
Although Acer is cheaper or not the cheapest, don't prioritize getting it. Andito nako sa Taiwan sa mismong manufacturers ng mga laptop na yan, isa sa mga compromises ng Acer ay BUILD QUALITY. But I'm only talking about Nitro series. Ibang usapan na yung Predator lineup nila. Ang mga Taiwanese dito kung magrecommend sila mas prefer nilang ibenta sayo ang Asus, Lenovo or even a Gigabyte kase madaming bumabalik daw sa store nila as reklamo nga about build quality. Issues such as screen flickering or black screen, no display, no power, cheap plastic, bad thermal design, etc. Di ko sinisiraan Acer pero customers na mismo ang madaming reklamo dito kaya no wonder binibigyan ng Acer ng 3 years warranty ang mga laptop nila. Although it's good pero ayoko namang maya't maya may issue laptop ko. Tatlong Acer nitro ang gamit ng mga katrabaho ko nun, lahat may kanya kanyang issue like yung isa sira screen, yung isa nag aauto shutdown, yung isa nagkacrash yung mga drivers. Kaya sabe ko non ekis pala sa ganyang laptop kung bibili man ako. If acer gusto nyo, better get the Helios Neo. Mas mahal na nga lang yon.
Pros: Mura, Maganda design, mahilig ka sa RGB keyboard? Meron sila nyan. And also, good warranty.
Asus. Isa lang naman cons nila sa TUF series, mataas ang thermals ng mga laptop nila. Hindi naman sobrang init pero compared sa paghandle ng Acer at Lenovo sa thermals? Talo sila jan. Ayun lang. Pero sa specs? Damn sila pinakamaangas isama mo na yung design at build quality. Sila din yung may pinakamaraming choices of lineups sa entry level category kaya madami kayong pagpipilian. Tuf A14? A15? A16? F15? F17? Damn andame.
Pros: Best build quality and variety of choices. Military grade yang mga TUF lineup.
Lenovo for me is the best bang for buck pagdating sa ENTRY LEVEL gaming. Note ha entry level, ibang usapan na yung legion, predator, rog, alienware, etc. Kahit naman saan na jan wala ka na talo jan. Specs wise? Ang ganda ng build quality nila, super simple yet may onting touch ng pagkagaming yung design, 3 years din ang warranty, maganda ang thermals i think pinakamaganda nga sa lahat yan ng entry level. Madaming nagsasabi about sa board issue nila pero ayon sa reviews, mga units lang yon sa India ang may ganong issue. Dito sa Taiwan, kung magpaparecommend ka ng entry lvl gaming laptop ang sasabihin nila sayo lenovo or asus. Taiwanese na nagsabi nyan, irerecommend pa yung Chinese na brand(which is kalaban nila kung tutuusin iykwim).
Pros: Price to performance ration is top notch. 3 years warranty. On par with Asus build quality. Sulit sa specs.
Looking and playing with these laptop personally, ikaw mismo makakaramdam at makakakita ng mga pros and cons nila. Kanya kanya pa rin naman ng desisyon kung ano kukunin mo, pera mo naman yan pero make sure na worth it para di masayang pinaghirapan mo. Hindi ako promoter or ano man. I have been an owner of Acer, Asus and now Lenovo. Yung Acer ko talaga dati daming sakit sa ulo like bilis nasira ang hinge, may guhit sa screen, bilis nasira mga components like speaker, even wifi. Sa Asus ko naman no doubt antibay. Lasted for 8 years until it dies with honor while playing Dota. Ngayon Lenovo LOQ user na. Insights lang sa inyo na mga bibili.

@@merinolevih.3152 definitely no mb issue, also I read some discussions in reddit the motherboard issue we're caused by higher version specially the i7 with HX, the motherboard can stand the heat of i7 HX. In short the i5 HX version with 4050 has no problems also the issue wasn't faced by many.

i am just curious as to what screams gamer. i don't get this mentality. i had an asus strix laptop, with rgb on the lid, my question is this, who kinda cares about that. you are literally using power for lights you are never going to see, except for when you are opening it.
example i have the h150i elite liquid cooler. loads of rgb and an lcd screen, very nice cooler. my previous cooler was a noctua nh-d15. and that thing may not look sleek, but it was by far an astounding cooler. and trust me noctua fans are not exactly known for style. more like poop stain color, but they are some of the best fans on the market. rgb does not mean gamer.
Bought and returned a nitro v earlier this week. That screen is a deal breaker...its bad, real bad. Completely unusable for anywork, but I wouldn't even recommend for gaming. Everything looks super saturated. Reds are brown, whites are yellow, blues are grey, makes daylight look like dusk. plus the screen tearing, and no adaptive sync. Unless you plan to use it with any external monitor and you get it for super cheap, avoid.
Also the gpu can go to 75 watts, but you will never want it higher then 65 anyway, cause its so damn loud at max power.
You could've gone for helios neo 16 or helios 300😂

So sa 13-14th gen HX pwede syang ma undervolt para di maprito ung motherboard? kase mas malakas daw sa power ung HX compared sa H.. have u guys face motherboard issues? balak ko bilhin to kasi sulit sya with advance optimus feauture at that price range.
From Intel docs, pwede idisable yung Turbo Boost sa BIOS pero depende sa motherboard. Dun saTurbo Boost Power yung sobrang laki ng agwat. Sa 13450H hanggang 95W lang ang MaxTurbo Boost, meanwhile sa 13450HX abot ng 157W
