It does seem odd that neither Amazon nor Henry Cavill have given any updates on the progress of 40K
I heard that Henry Cavill was not happy with the direction they were taking the show in. They mentioned that TV and film production is a mammoth undertaking and could take 2 to 3 years. That may be true, but it seems like either you’re going to see something within that time period (like the cool snippets they mentioned) or they hope the public just forgets about the project altogether because they couldn’t come to an agreement. I’m at the point now that I don’t believe anything until I see it. I hope that we get Henry’s version of Warhammer 40k. Only time will tell.
That is so true. I want to be excited, but it seems very negative that we haven't heard anything from Henry Cavill or Amazon with updates about the project

It feels like the entirety of Hollywood is trying to destroy Henry Cavills career
They will either force Cavill out or wait until his Executive Producer contract expires and then don't renew it. Cavill has a lot of control while EP so that is their obstacle.
Just a thought, i wonder if Cavill was a request from Games Workshop given his popularity and support of the fan base. Now that he's in, he's a problem for Amazon. Amazon used him, plain and simple.

It is an issue when DEI/ ESG supersede the story. But I feel like more and more people are waking up to seeing it in movies/shows and games. Noticing the pattern is the first step in stopping it lol
@holdmydualshock but these gooblets will never stop.... they have the infinite finances of the globalists who push the crap to start with. They buy up as many shares as they can and then blackmail the companies into complying by threatening to short sell their company into oblivion if they dont obey. And if anyone in this comment section doesn't believe me, then look at any company, studio, etc for blackrock, vanguard & state street. They are the primary culprits for the esg/dei agenda.

Poor Henry Cavill. Even as an executive producer, he still can't deliver a great show without so many of these third party hacks involved.
The industry seems to be full of sensitive people who fully believe positive discrimination is the way forward and are intent on gender/minority quotas to the detreiment of lore. Having said that, its probably a tiny issue, much more likely they are being interfered with creatively to make the show commercial and by boardroom and hit certain story/drama points instead of lore accurate
If Henry Cavill doesn't approve the show then it shouldn't be made unlike most he knows what the fans want.
