Great tips. I've done the conditioner trick on an online purchase I received smaller than it was advertised. I Googled how to stretch fabric and came across the conditioner trick. So I soaked the shirt in conditioner (use an inexpensive one) in the sink for an hour, rinsed really well, squeezed all water out and began stretching the fabric by hand in the places it needed the most stretch (midsection and be boob area). Once done I used hanger clips to fasten the shirt to the hanger, again stretched out and hung to let completely dry. Shirt now fits perfectly.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas...I'm also very anal about how laundry is done...but I definitely need to upgrade my skills!!👌👏🎉🌟 Thanks for sharing.
I like the idea of having her kids be responsible for part of the laundry. Kids don't realize what's involved until they have to participate in their own things. Pinning that shrunken sweater is a bit much but I like the other tips. Thanks.
The magnet trick is awesome. I mean, some people don’t have to be careful with what they put in the dryer, but some of my clothes just really need to be hung dry. I know what they are when they go in the washer, but I need a routine for when they come out. I’ve been missing things and they are getting so ragged when they come out. I will use the magnet trick.
I don’t fold under wear and all t shirt in the House is hung up . All pants are fold in half and in a draw . Everyone has their own wash cloth each is a different color so no fighting about who wash cloth is who’s. Towels are all white, but each person has a different texture on it so again we know who it belongs too. Yes, my 2 1/2 year old put his cloth away... start early
Lisa Renrick not really, when I do my whites and blacks I do something similar for my kids’ school uniforms. I don’t always fold my laundry, but I keep track of their navy blue shirts and pants and do the same for white shirts. I just pull them out and hang them up so they don’t get wrinkled. Then I proceed to live out of a bag. Lol But I recently stared folding again. 😪
“You’re being very mindful, to be (able) to be very mindless” that’s gold. Seriously, that method gets you a peaceful and organized life! :)

Such great ideas, totally have a wool sweater I adore that shrunk from coming into contact with water

“Why get rid of it when you can fix it” it’s earth day today, that phrase is golden too.
Some of these tips are a bit overkill, but if it works for her, good for her.
Honey Bunny : The beginning advice was useful. But later it started to get strange.
I agree. The magnets??? That's extra! Lol
