You are both a pair of superstars!!! It takes a lot of courage to take to the starting line. You train hard and nobody is harder on you - than you. You are such talented runners. Keep showing up with your beautiful smiling faces. Sometimes not looking at your watch and running by feel can be good - when you find out how fast you go can mess with your head. You seem to have great people around you and you know what is best for you. Enjoying watching your journey from afar.
Thank you! 🙌🏼💪🏼 we absolutely will going 🥳💪🏼 thank you for watching!
Thank you! 🙌🏼💪🏼 we absolutely will going 🥳💪🏼 thank you for watching!
I love your positive mindset, Hannah (something I can definitely learn from). Congratulations Alice on a massive PB!
There’s always lots of positives to take away 😍🙌🏼💪🏼
Thanks for sharing! Always good to hear your thoughts pre and post race, and some laughs! 😂
😂🙌🏼💪🏼
Great update, Hannah! It looks like it was a lovely visit to Valencia and some quality time with your sister, and not a bad race at all while you were there. I love the attitude that the bad days are trending upward! Yes, it's so easy to get swept along at the start of a race. Any sense of pace that I have from training gets lost in the crowd. You ran 2k at 31:00 pace but if you keep asking your body to do it, one of these days it will.
It was so lovely thank you!! That is very true 🥳🥳 one day soon that will be my pace 🥳💪🏼🙌🏼
Hi Hannah, that's still an incredible time. Ive got a 10k on 2nd Feb and I'll be happy with anything in the 36s. Also, you both have fantastic smiles - you clearly have a good dentist! 😁😁
That’s awesome 🥳🥳💪🏼💪🏼 go for it 🙌🏼good luck!
Surely you mean good genes?! A dentist can only do so much.
@@yianpap6093 Dentists can do a whole lot. Celebrities have all their teeth replaced. Don't think that's the case here, of course.
I know but a smile is not just the teeth. Moreover, the smile is greatly enhanced by the personality, the whole face is smiling, the eyes.
Great run Hannah. Your positive energy it's what i admire of you. Hope one day you can run in this side of the world. Regards from México 🎉
Thank you so much ☺️that would be very cool!!
Well done to both of you 👍
Thank you 🙌🏼☺️
I did the Valencia 10k too. But I was 12 mins behind you. I did enjoy a cocktail on the beach though.
Oh that’s awesome 🥳congrats!! We did go to a bar by the beach which was lovely!
Is it feasible to negative split the 10K? From most running videos I watch, I see people go off pretty hard, and on good days they can kind of get away with that, on average days they can't. For myself, I did negative split my last couple of races (a 10K and a 15K), but even though the running felt good, I did come away with the feeling that perhaps I hadn't tried hard enough. I hope you still had a nice Valencia trip, and on to the next race!
Some days you can definitely get away with going out too hard, but definitely better to run it with a negative split! 🙌🏼 it is absolutely possible 🥳💪🏼🙌🏼
Dang no race footage. You have successfully demonstrated that elite runners can go out too fast just like the rest of us. Of course, in my case that would be at half your pace on a really good day. (Aren't winter beach days the best. No crowds and free ice therapy.)
It happens to us all! 😂😭 a winter beach is the best!!
You still ran a race so it’s a great day
Very true 🥳🙌🏼😍
A 6:10 final 2k instead would have been better
You’re very right!! 😂next time!! 💪🏼🙌🏼
