Great little review on Mr Richardson's 200VI was nice to get a look around it at the Motorist earlier this year. I always thought it was strange that this was marketed to complete with the Escort at the time of launch as it was slightly smaller than the outgoing R8.
Yes sir, it was indeed at the event back in May, and I was privileged to finally have a go last month. The market positioning of the car when it was first launched was a bit odd...
Glad you enjoyed driving this classic Joseph. Somehow I'm not surprised that you were reluctant to return this Rover back to Mr. Richardson, it seems to be a delightful vehicle. I have watched the repairs and other upgrades, etc., and it is in good condition. Being 5'8", I like the seat height to be higher, especially when I'm driving. My only criticism is no air conditioning, and that is minor compared to its many positives.
Yes, not everyone gets on with the driving position in these, but some people find it absolutely fine. The lack of air conditioning is very strange, it must have been an option, I would imagine.
Can confirm they are much rarer than the BRM, there are 91 BRMs on the road, 15 Vis
Thank you, Mr Richardson! Yes, the BRMs have become much more common than the Vis recently, haven't they?

Very pretty cars . I had a look around it at The Motorist back in May .
It looks great, doesn't it, sir?
Very restrained styling for a Sporty model, just like the Rover 25 GTI.
The VVi sounds pretty amazing.
Great car.
Yes, good handling, a comfortable ride for a hot hatch and restrained styling. Mr Richardson loves it!
We do like Rover content on this channel, Mr. Lloyd.
Very good, sir, I thought that this may tickle your fancy.
Nice car
It was a lot of fun, sir!
