THE PROBLEM IS THE CASE THAT DOESNT MAKE ENOUGH PRESSURE IN THE CONTACT PIN IVE GOT A PSP 1000 AND I HAD THE CASE REPLACED AND GOT THE SAME PROBLEM AFTER REMOVING THE ORIGINAL CASE
I guess all china made replacements are garbage. Got from ebay and aliexpress, still the same drifting problem, with my original case. What a waste.......... :\

try cleaning the black silicone and flex cable that has the buttons on it with IP and it should work!
