My original charger stopped charging, so I bought a good replacement that worked once, then I used followed your advice and tried my phone charger- that worked, also my car charger works. Thank-you for info.

Easy way to fix.... works everytime for me .... whenever my tablet starts to give me problems with not wanting to take a charge ... i put it in the trash and then go buy another one for 50 bucks and boom problem fixed..... this is why they are so cheap because they are cheap

Thanks for the info. But mine did not work. I tried different cables, I checked one that worked on my husband's kindel and was charging his, but would not charge mine. It worked fine last night.

Unfortunately this is not my problem. The other one charges fine with the same cord. It's a charging port but I'm not skilled enough to do it. I would get frustrated and throw it against the wall
Hi, mines doesn't charge at all. I tried all the ways I could. I'm now thinking I'm only left with getting the charger port fixed which will be about $150 or more and I really dont want to spend that much :(

Thank you for your simple fix. Turns out a big storm tripped the circuit breaker so once we pushed the reset button, the wall outlet works.

Other reasons for not charging is the battery is probably out of juice. May need a replacement. Replacements on eBay are around $15.

Even though it was charging, the percentage was stuck at 24%. Not really charging at all. Mine is stuck at 4% and I've tried all sorts of combos for USB cables. I think my Kindle is just flat dead.

Other reasons for the tablet not charging is that the battery may be out of juice. It needs replacing.
Make sure if you use a different USB that the voltage/wattage is around the same as the original or else the battery may be overloaded.

Try different charger and see which works best. also try to also keep the battery above 8 % below 5% can cause battery drain and cause charging problem and even your bat3 to go bad.

That's not FIX! Bro all you did was get lucky with a blackberry charger, that barely works. How was this helpful? I've tried 15 various micro USB chargers, and non of them connect with my HD Fire! Does anyone know where I can find a video that provides a legitimate fix?

I'm having this same problem with my son own he was on it while the battery keeping going down now its not coming on at all
its probably drain. Try different chargers and see which works.
Or purchase a new battery. It's not too hard to open it up. Just be careful of any cables depending on your model.

I've tried like 3-4 different chargers and cables but It would not charge it
Also my PC doesn't recognize the tablet either

My own has the same problem I change it to multiple different USB card an its not charging. It was doing fine yesterday but today it's not charging at all
If you don't use the tablet for a while and don't charge it, it will automatically die(the battery will fail to work completely)

Aiiiint nothiiiiiiiing wrong with being a Dollar Tree Addict. I have like 10 charger chord backups, that only cost me $10 & work pretty darn good. When I was buying them for $10+++++ EACH & they would last a frkn WEEK🙄
While I still have my original phone charger AND chord. My Husband & 2 Children, are all LEGITIMATE charger chord Serial Killers. I go thru them like they're LITERALLY going out of style.
So I stopped paying a fortune for the "fancy" brands, when I realized that their "planned obsolescence" was even worse.
So I now got 10 backups, that last for a while & if they don't, who cares, they're only a $1 EACH.
I just go grab another, because it's cheap enough. 👍👌
