I’m middle class and would be far better off if they completely cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid if it means reducing my tax bill. I’d have far more retirement income if I could’ve invested those SS deductions from each paycheck and an open market insurance or total government run medical option would be cheaper than this half assed hybrid system now.

Trickle down economics only trickles into the pockets of the wealthy, while the Government pays them via not requiring to pay taxes, which are designed to combat inflation. The solution is taxing wealthy again.

Problem with student loan payoffs is the tuitions keep rising. The cost of college is crazy these days. No reason to keep tuitions in check if the government is gonna foot the bill.

The Federal Reserve owns most of the treasuries. It orders the printing of money to buy US treasuries to support our gov spending. When it gets repaid, some of it just gets destroyed to limit it going back out into the money supply. Some of it gets lent out again to banks.

Credit scores are not from, nor managed by the US Govt. The three largest financial institutions are directly responsible for that.
credit scores are such bullshit. my FICO score was 735. didn't use my Discover and AMEX card for almost 4 months and my score lowered 10 points. I get docked for not using my allocated debt. our system is so broken.
