as an XTX user I admit that I look at my GPU for 2 hours before turning on my PC

My pc is at the end of my bed so i can look at the xtx everynight with it's aRGB on like a cute little night light as an added extra for its beauty, all snuggled into my blanket before wishing it goodnight.

Everybody overlooks the RX 6800 non XT. It's such a good card. It's very power efficient, has 16GB of vram and does very good at 1440p at pretty much any game you throw at it.

i dont disagree, but you have to find it at a good price. it isn't worth the 10$ less than the 68 xt tbh, if you look at the difference in SPs of the 6800 to 68 xt, to 69 xt, you'll find that it really isn't worth the money unless you get it dirt cheap and used

Shhhh… don’t give anyone ideas. My RX 6800 runs No Man’s Sky on High and a few Ultra settings at~100 fps and~170 watts at 98% usage on a 3440x1440 monitor. Paired with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D cpu.
nah the most overlooked is the 6800 non XT! you can overclock it and get it close enough to the performance of the XT/rtx 3080. That's the card i have!
Ultra instinct, because that's what you have to access to be able to predict what your enemies at higher fps are going to do, thus even 20 fps in fps game, will no longer matter to you.

5600G and still play like a beast on fortnite performance settings with any radeon adrenaline settings that may give me that extra FPS/lower latency
ryzen 3 3-4000g. Good ol' four core managed to run both valerant and R6 at rather decent graphics. Absolute perfection.
Upgraded from a 580 to a 6800xt about two months ago, you appreciate an upgrade so much more when you don't upgrade a lot

@etid I run with my GPU until it either dies or the hardware can no longer run the games I am interested in. After that I find another use for my old hardware if it is still functional.
Dude I was running ryzen onboard gfx until last week.
Now I just need a monitor to handle it.

Oh boy the number of 32 - bit games I've played on Intel HD 3000 are in quite a bit of hellish numbers. I went ahead and completed Crysis on 25 FPS after lowering it's settings in config files

My son with a 1070 and me rocking a 1080. They still do everything we need them to. What a series of cards.
The 1070 just hits different, it's insane how well it hold up.
Using a gtx 1070 in my current pc! Its awesome! Fh5 at Ultra and 60 fps in most places , Minecraft with high render distances and shaders, gta V completely maxed out , indie games, etc.. And the 8gb of vram come in handy
@@victorillo377 Tried and true. The only game that’s given my 1080 a hard time was Alan Wake 2 and that’s only because of how they developed the game. Not the power of the card.
yeah that game works like shit on any gtx 10 series cards i noticed i tried my old 1080 ti rig on it and then compared to my 7900 xtx rig and i can assure you it has shitty optimization even when i lowered the resoloution the game would give 24-30 fps max @@VenomShotYou

RX7800xt sapphire for me is the BEST investment I made. I love it and I feel soo happy since its going to last me long and the community of AMD was very supportive with settings and how to apply sweet OC.

I upgraded from a 970 a year or two ago. Its 3.5gb vram came to be just too unfortunate in any halfway-modern game 😢

I was planning to buy the 6800xt but then it went out of stock and shot up from 500 to 800 so I bought the 7800xt for 499 on sale, I do feel like that kid dancing.

@@Flev_ Not exactly, at $500 the 6800xt was the better buy recently, but the 7800xt has better raytracing, and will probably age as nicely as the 6800xt did with driver support.
mostly, lol. I like the other guy got a 7800xt cause the 6800XT's I saw were 550-650, the 4700 wasn't anywhere near MSRP unless I wanted to drive for miles and hope, and the 7800 was $499 from AMD all day long and took me like 2 mouse clicks. For that price, it's a lot of power for what it is.
it is a good card when it has to be on sale to reach it's MSRP

I have the 6900xt and I'm happy upgraded in 2021 from the GTX 980 after 8 years

My 6900XT, I paid $1300 during the Ethereum Mining days and not Mad about it, and it still kicking ass to this day 2024.
That right there, is a ginormous upgrade.
Honestly the 980 was fine even till December 2021 my big issue was the vram 4gb but still the core carried punch even after 8 years , I gone with amd because Nvidia prices gone crazy and honestly I not complain my 6900xt satisfied me I hope it gonna last me another 8 to 10 years but still I pay my respect to the GTX 900 series
