BTW, axle does NOT need to come off. It can all be done from underneath the car and wiggled out.

Makes the job a lot smoother if you do, it's very cramped in there. Especially if you're doing it on jacks

Can oil leak from it?

@ is it from egr valve or can it leak from gaskets?

It leaks from the valve I believe in the diaphragm, don't quote me on that tho. I don't think that seal can be replaced but I've never taken apart to actually know.
