- After years of post complaints, here is the music:
"Beauty Never Fades" by Junkie XL & Saffron
Episode clip list in order of video appearance:
1. Azati Prime - Enterprise
2. Star Trek: Nemesis
3. All Good Things... - Star Trek: The Next Generation
4. Endgame - Star Trek: Voyager
5. Relativity - Star Trek: Voyager
6. The Pegasus - Star Trek: The Next Generation
7. Dauntless - Star Trek: Voyager
8. Prometheus - Star Trek: Voyager
9. In A Mirror Darkly - Enterprise
Just a heads-up: The exact audio is used from the freely provided audio of an EVE Online trailer YEARS ago. Good luck finding it, though, lol! Therefore, ripping the audio from this video will not be the actual "Beauty Never Fades" song due to the explosion and effect sounds.
FAQ Stuff:
Q: Dauntless was built buy that alien dude, not Starfleet, right?
A: True, however, we see in Enterprise that the Dauntless is used in the Spherebuilders War demonstrating that Voyager didn't walk away from the Dauntless empty-handed. Also, Voyager attempted to replicate the transwarp drive of the Dauntless further supporting that Starfleet was able to build this ship for the Spherebuilders War.
Q: The Enterprise D Refit (GalaxyX) and the Olympia Class ships were alternate timeline ships. How do those count?
A: Because they were still potential future Starfleet ship designs. Really cool factoid; the Olympia class is based off of the Daedalus class starship from the Original Series!
Q: Why is the constitution class USS Defiant in there?! That class is WAY too old to even BE in this video!
A: True. However, in Enterprise it was a futuristic ship. Lame excuse? Yes. Maybe things will change if I remaster this video...
Q: Is the Prometheus really that new? I mean really...
A: Well not any more, but 8+ years ago it still felt new! ;)
Q: Dude...Why did you even make this? Why does the resolution suck? What do you use to make this video, two sticks and a rock while sharing the rock?
A: Well, someone requested that I make a "really cool video" on the future Starfleet vessels over 8 years ago, so I delivered apparently given the view count at over a quarter million. The video quality sucks because "acquiring" good digital copies of episodes was difficult back then. Plus, I only had Windows Movie Maker back then. As I said, maybe things will change if I remaster this video...
