i find it funny how whenever the main character is stuck in some sort of trap mentally where they are transported to the inside of there mind and cant do anything in the real world everyone just sits there standing around waiting to see what happens instead of just killing the main character while they are stuck in that state

This scene in the movie remind me of an imaginary playtime kids do. Wanda just gains imaginary abilities randomly and never uses them again. Although perhaps kids stories are a bit more concistent since they sometimes don't do that.
