I agree, Rainman's videos are all about the story telling, I mean is obvious he cheats and pretty much save scums the usual gameplay, but that doesnt matter since he tells pretty interesting and informative stories for people who wants to learn how to play.
That makes us polar opposites, I'll watch anything that isn't Rimworld. Haven't even bothered watching him at all because it's all he posts recently, boring.
This is basically why his channel grew, no dumbass um's or uh's interupting the flow of the video while the let's player comes up with a random stupid thing to say. Or luls while there is nothing to see or do.

one thing that i did when it comes to the spike traps is that i put sandbags inbetween the sandbags and next to the sandbags in the walls i put doors, and it seemed to help reduce the amount of repairs needed

Maximillionum I believe it was the first one using this set of mods which was the fellowship I think. I got The majority of these mods from somewhere and I hadn’t seen them before watching this. I could be wrong
Psychic awakening works when the character is psychically adept, if they are not you waste the vial. -The character you awaken has to have a psychic related trait!
There are few things I noticed you don't know about rimworld mechanics yet. you can chain multiple tasks to your pawns by holding down ctrl when assigning one. You can also give other factions gifts and try to sell some of modded expensive things, instead of relying on healing prisoners from raids, it boosts your relatinships really well, you can turn a -50 hostiles around to 0, have them be neutral and sell the rest of the gifts for goods. Other thing I recommend are stack XXL, RimFridge and DeepStorage mods which make storing and organizing large amounts of things much neater and better to look at, in youtube playthrough especially. Yea and as a rimworld veteran I really think you should stop using disabling shot ability to hunt, it is really busted mechanic, even more so than other OP abilities from that mod, which I guess are balanced by enemies using them sometimes too. It is busted when combined with the mechanic that hunters can kill animals instantly when downed, which wasn't always in the core game and I think even modder didn't intend to having it being used like that. Add to it some busted animals from other mods and you gain wealth way too easily, just saying.

You also didn't get very good price for prisoners because they weren't healed up yet.
